Me personally l would say it's that Frank Zappa sits down and paper writes Every note and leaves the room for musicians who gifted to stretch out some cool stuff.
And he always has coffee and cigarettes doing so

"How can he be so good ?" It is the secret of the fuckin' universe, isn't it? Once scientists figure this out we will all live forever and cancer will be cured. And despite being so very, very good notice how he isn't hogging the stage and his also very amazeballs band is given plenty of spotlight.

It's interesting how fans fixate on the first album of Frank Zappa's that they hear and then everything else is judged by comparison. Many more fans I think fixate on to the first three albums.

I saw him live twice in Australia in the late 70's and 80's the first time was amazing no cops lots of profanities and amazing music the second time with Jean Luc Ponty on violin were just as amazing but there were cops everywhere! Waiting for him to say something rude lol! They wanted to bust him but they couldnt. Great great music something that affects your whole life of music, well it did mine.

'' Don't waste your waste on me.'' Damn they are having a great time, Frank's crackin' up numerous times. I Love this phase of da Band Ruth, George, Napoleon, and the rest are here on Gilligian's Island. Perfect Pseudo Chao's in harmonious harmony, with a vibe that is Cosmic!
