im pretty sure you should probably check the mother boards size first (the mother board should have 3 sizes, ATX which is the biggest, micro ATX, or mini ATX which is the smallest), once you find the mother boards size, pick a pc case with the mother boards size so it can fit.

Go for ryzen 5 7600 instead of x as it heats up less and has nearly same performance u can save on cooler as the stock cooler in 7600 will be plenty and upgrade your GPU to 4070 if you can get a good deal on it as 6700xt won't be good as 4070 in terms of ray tracing and dlss 3 and case is your opinion you can cheap out for performance or go for asthetics as your budget suits

Can you please advise the ideal GPU options for my PC? my pc: ryzen 5900x, 64 RAM, 4k display resolution. I choose a GPU for video editing and playing new games, ideally in 4k, but it is also good in 2560x1440px
4070 ti super, 4080 super, 4090. 4070 ti probably best option but I recom getting a better cpu soon as bottlenecks could occur. If your going to do more gaming then workflow then get a 7900 xt or xtx If your still going to do quite a lot of video editing and are going to get a new cpu get an intel one I forgot why but it’s something about compatibility with some video editing softwares
I have that psu and also a 4090. I would use the cable from the psu unless if you want a different color for your psu cable. I am using an asiahorse cable because I have an all white build. I may switch them for the white lian li v2 strimmer cables.
@gogo0913 I bought the gpu, psu and the rest of my pc parts in August 2023. The psu is the 2023 version and the gpu came out in 2022 but my specific model I don't know.

@MrKalle1977 that's not true. 6000 mt/s (frequency) and CAS (stands for 'Column Address Strobe') latency, in this case CL30 is good because the high frequency and low latency are advantages in data transfers and quick access to stored information. But is important to remember that RAM can be case specific
It's all preference. If you have a lot of periferals or USB connected devices then get full full sized ATX motherboard or if you plan on putting in more than 2 SSDs. For the PSU it's just whether or not you care to have the back of the case better organized cable wise.

I 100% agree with all those. AIO only if you want it to look good imo. But I'd stick with a newer gen gpu. If you want a older gen get a 6800. I had a 6700xt and went to a 7900xtx. The 6700xt got me decent enough fps but didn't meet my needs/wants.
I hated this video, I ordered PC parts yesterday and my memory was cancelled for some reason. I saw this video and learnt about the CAS speed, and the ram that I had originally brought was 36, I saw RAM with 30 a bit more expensive but if you are building a top end PC, a one in a life time build you might as well get the best that money can buy. I saved money as the 990 pro SSD was cheaper than the 980 so I saved money by changing my order. I also got a better product as well, sadly for me though this PC will just sit gathering dust really as I never really play games, and the ones I do play you can play on a mobile phone really.
Well since half of what this guy says is just bs. I guess thats why he builds his showcase computers that are just commercials mostly to make his own money. He does not know anything about computers. How they work or what is good parts. Dont listen to him.

XTX is 4080 level so definitely that
7900xtx all the way, 4070ti cannot compare
7900 for better vram and fps, 4070 for Ray Tracing and Frame generation. Vram is important also for modern games so take it into consideration
nah pick the xtx unless you raytrace on every single game you play

I'm a novice but a good 7600x/mobo combo that neweg offers with a 7800xt gives you room for upgrading in a year or 2 and good 1440p performance 😊
