Found your store! Trying to purchase a zipper, yet the sizes were too small. Do you make them in larger sizes? also how do they hold up at 80 miles per hour for a water tight cover with a port hole as far as a cockpit cover? thank you!
Sorry, I don’t sell other sizes and I haven’t done any high speed testing.
Great video- a couple questions for you: 1. I don't see the zippers in your store at the moment? Is there somewhere else to purchase them? 2. Can this same technique be used in other packrafts/materials?
Hi Sam, yep, it works for most packrafts - send me a message through the website and I’ll hook you up.
Please include the products names you use in your narration. Iron, glue, material...
Thanks for watching! Many of my videos are made to be embedded on the DIY Packraft website as part of a larger instruction set, so I often don't provide much background information in the videos because in the context of the instructions those things have already have been covered. If you'd like to learn more, I've added some links in the video description. Cheers
HI there! Great video! What material is your raft made from?
Thanks! You can find it here: www.diypackraft.com/shop
Thinking of doing this. Did it hold up?
Yep!
Any chance I can send you my packraft with broken zipper and pay you to replace it?! Happy to pay for it!
Sorry I don’t do that kind of thing, but I think Alpacka does. It’s not too hard to do yourself, if you’re inclined.
Make a stronger packraft with way stronger fabric
حطيتلك دسلايك لانك محروم منه... تحياتي وشكرا على مشاركة الفيديو يا كبير
