She looks so great with this new hair! ♥️
Yes. Bright smile on the thumbnail. Fabulous.
Exactly n she looks like the actress from mr bean's holiday movie ! Also I agree with her she can look as she wants..

Yaaassssss so true
These trollers are really annoying.. They troll you for having a haircut? That's her choice.. grow up guys 🙄
you're quite bold assuming they're 'guys'
@@chessypeanut9318 I think she meant people in general.
@@puneetkaur9875 he should've specified it, its casual sexism too and I'm fed up being told to get over it !!
@@chessypeanut9318 I'm no bold nor am I so important to take it seriously. You and I clearly know what I meant so take a chill pill.
@@chessypeanut9318 arey toh guys toh ladkiyon ko bhi bolte hai bhai.... Go out more often....
She is so indian ...the way she speaks n her body language
She's half Indian
She is indian she was born there
@@Trollika_Devi no both her parents are French. She was born and raised in Tamil Nadu.
@@vivy-kun3510 Oh I see. I knew she was raised there but thought her father was Indian.
Nope she is pure french with her great grandpa being the main engineer of Eiffel Tower, Maurice Koechlin..
I used to think she was part Indian. Doesn't matter, she's an Indian at heart
Her parents are French but they came to india and fell in love with the country and stayed here. Now she is here too
She definitely is ❤️
Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought of pronouncing Koechlin as 'Kekla' 😐🥴
That's French language for you. I studied French for a year and the spoken part differs greatly from the written part(if you perceive it from a English speaker mindset). Its a beautiful language though
His father is Alsatian and his surname is Alsatian. Alsatians traditionally speak a Germanic language close to German. So for a Frenchman from another region like me who is Breton, the pronunciation of the name will be different. If France does not have many official languages like India, there are several languages and dialects, some of which are very far from Angevin French which is a bit like official French.

I like that she embraces her French side and culture as well as her indian side. I don’t think people should judge her for that she can be indian as well as French. Nothing wrong. Her short hair should not be considered a “bold” choice because we stick to an ideal of women having long hair when they can have short hair too so I’m just happy my girl is doing what she want to do and not listen to the ideal norms set out there
I love how she speaks in Tamil! She's one gorgeous lady.
She speaks TAMIL!!!!!
She speaks Tamil well. Brought up in TN only

UA-cam is recommending this video in 2020 to everyone that's why most of the comments u find are either 1-2 days ago or a few hours ago
She’s basically wayyy above the disgusting Bollywood grade. So happy for her ❤️
Man kalki is the most unique indian actress I have seen...
One word : Versatile
The last message she said is 💯 true..
"We cannot change this generation completely..But we can change the future generation..."
Don't you think this can change the world?
Yes, if we start by changing ourselves
"it's casual, small comments" telling someone to get botox for their laughter lines is NOT causal or small
But these type of suggestions are extremely common in film and fashion industry. That's why she said 'casual comments'.
@@garimakilledar5810 even us normal girls face this ugh why wont society leave women tf alone ugh
Wait she's not indian!?
Discovered today😂
French heritage but raised in India all her life
@@taz874 I used think she is from himachal or kashmir...like kangana Ranaut. But whatever admiration is independent of origin
That's very clear , she looks white .
She is a distant relative of Maurice Koechlin, a French structural engineer who played an important role in the design and construction of the Eiffel Tower.
@@inshamajidmir684 nice. So I'm also the great granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi because I have Gandhi as my last name😀
Kalki, it's good to find someone who is her own self.
You need not bother about ur short hair troll stories, just because Bollywood is not grown up yet. I hope they change patronising imaginary beauty quotient.
And you are very much Indian!!!
I actually felt her comment... People really do that and we do adjust with it and it just builds up immense frustration.
She's gorgeous and everyone who trolls her or judges her is just jealous
She looks like Tokyo of money heist 😅I think
Anyone else have this opinion..
Same thought 🤣 Actually I really got confused 😃 Finally found someone
@@fahrimaelma9852 😃
agree
The best line I heard today or any day about fashion and beauty standards is "Beauty trends need to grow and change and I think the only way to do it is to start doing it yourself "
today I found out she was french...I just thought she had a weird name like everyone does
Vellakaaran paaru 😂
Can u tell me what's the meaning of this ???I don't know Tamil

Finally I can rest in peace now.
Casual ...when people say things like "oh come on don't start your feminism thing here" if they are called out for their CASUAL sexist things.
honestly she seems like a such nice person and someone who so socially woke
She's actually proud to be Indian than most Indian celebs are.🙂 Most celebs, hint hint Bebo, would rather feel good being called a foreigner due to her fair skin
It's okay if someone wants to be called a foreigner. Not everyone has to love their country. Did kareena actually say that? Or did you just make a big deal out of nothing?
i am not proud to be indian beacause india is a country with the most rape cases, india doesnt teach anything about lgbt+ , colorism, sexim and homophobics
@@Diya-vb1pm ua-cam.com/video/IAeTXi0oHIQ/v-deo.html have a look at this video. I also thought just like you, frustrated with what this country is doing and not doing. I don't know how much authentic this video is, but we can surely learn one or two things.
This country needs to increase its pace, be more open minded and we are on our way, change doesn't happen overnight right? ❣️
And most importantly we are the change, so I think it would be better if we stopped hating/complaining about this country, and rather work on it.
No hate to you buddy, I am just like you. ❣️❣️❣️. And please do check this video, it might put you at ease, as it has put me.
@@Diya-vb1pm you are welcome to leave whole Africa and Middle East is open for you
She is just so wise and talented. She deserves much more, a really good actor. ☺☺
WOW ! She seems so thorough and solved as a person ! Loved the vibe she spreads ! Keep going Kalki Koechlin !
I mean...SHE IS INDIAN... She's ethnically french but she was born in India.... That's her homeland
Only if brought up is changed, we can see the society change, else people will keep passing on the same school of thought.
Casual sexism and brought up boys and girls alike is very important for us to understand if we need a better generation and better future we really have to pay attention.
Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰❤️
*Damm, she look's extremely gorgeous in each hairstyle*
It's not kek-la, it's kek-la(n). The n at the end it pronounced subtly. It's French.
She's jst கல்கி fr me;❤ frm now its kek-la 🤗

Her smile is literally my favourite thing about her. It's very charming and sweet!
She is the only substitute of Tokyo in money heist

@@NaveenYadav-il5bw no offense but *video
I so agree with you on the haircut!
I don't know why but I also appreciate your work & loved see hour movies...
Your sure a good actress, keep doing good work...
i shaved my head (without approval of family) now its grown a little like a boy cut
and being an indian girl
i faced this same thing saying i looked like a guy
u lost ur feminity
being born a millennial i know my hair is acceptable by children from the 21st century
cutting my hair does not change my gender periodt.
listening to kalki gave me even more confidence too
It's your body and you have a right over it, you can do whatever the hell you like, if it makes you happy then it doesn't have to make sense to others, feminity is not measured by the length of your hair, Don't listen to the people who tell you "this and that".
@@Shubhi3012 true i have no care in the world rn

She looks and is great!
She never limits herself to boundaries.

She looks beautiful. She is an amazing person
Thanks for this information. I'll write it down brut for my examination
Hi Kek la! Love your post a lot. Just way the way you are girly. All the best and wish you all the happiness in the world with your Near & Dear ones. Keep growing the way like.
I though she is Russian.
It's very feel good she is Tamil.
👏👏👏👏👏
Brought up in tn
She's French, not Russian
But she was brought up in India, so she's entirely Indian except by blood
She's french!
I live in France and I've never seen this surname at all ahaha! Koechlin! It's exotic even by French standards. I'm the opposite, I'm fully Indian but my soon to be fiancé is French and I feel so natural over here! Of course I have my Indian roots but culturally I blend much better in French culture but instead of the French treating me like a foreigner, the Indians treat me like one which is so weird! Just because you blend with another culture more than your own doesn't change where you grew up! She is beautiful though, long or short hair.
@Mili ka Munna that's not English. Also, I have no reason to lie.
She is intelligent 😍
Cake la...
I would never in a million years know that thats how you pronounce her name 😣
🤣
She’s so beautiful, inside and out 🥺😩😻😻. She’s speaks so eloquently.
I just love her script choices .she is awesome!♥️
I love her so much 💖. She's so talented and also good by heart ✨
Totally agree with the casual sexism
She’s an amazing actor, person and woman. Love, love her!!!
She's a beauty, love her movies and roles. She should not read the crap posted online about her hair, she looks amazing. My Indian brothers love to set guidelines for women but deep inside they love contol, and thats what its all about.
She actually looks better with a pixie cut
Damn.. only saw one movie of hers... kinda digging her personality. 👌🏼👌🏼
I love love love her laughter and smile. I mean I know I have fairly big teeth and photographers have always asked me smile a little lesser. But I stopped caring after a while and my smile is a part of my identity.
I don't watch movies at all but I watched Yeh Jawani he diwani and loved every bit of you. Please continue to laugh freely.
I like your every role.. Specially in Shanghai....Ka ka ka ka ka Kalki.......
N really thanx for helping out with the correct pronunciation of your cool name...
Raised awareness about both the topics which are equally important, intelligent lady
Maybe all the audience should change the way they look at celebs...
I lost it when she started talking in tamil
The way she speak tamil fluently😍🤗 she still remember language and mention it as native people 💯💫the matter is not she speaks tamil .Aftr predominently worked in other industy but she still speaks as native💫😍
She is seems like a person who I would love to friends with . She seems really nice and intelligent ❤️
She does not need botox
...she does nooooottttt wtf?! She's got a beautiful ass smile😍
true
Even though I understood what you meant but putting that 'ass' in between made your sentence go wrong. Now it just seem sarcastic and lowkey suggests that u r refering her face n smile looks like an arse.
@@pitchblack.nemesis omg what?! Nooooo....well what I meant is that she has the cutest smile and botox would really ruin it...plain Jane.
@@dumplingsnpizza9452 I meant no ill. 💙 She is soooooo pretty
She is so sweet and so mature! 💖
She's gorgeous and talented❤
I seriously don't understand why girls/women having short hair or boys/men having long hair have to be a huge topic to gossip or pass comments on. It's just an individual's style. Let them feel comfortable and good on what they like.
Her voice is so soothing 🥰
I feel she is the most underrated actress in cinema world. I follow her riding diaries with her father. Thats how i feel more related with her.
You look amazing and you said it so rightly. This our duty to raise our children’s is right manner. We and our elders can not change coz of the way we bought up. But we can break the chain of stereotype thinking .
Not Impossible even for us to change. But yes, difficult.
I've met her she's the sweetest!!!!
The heiress of koechelin family
At least this lady has the guts to say it upfront!
She is amazing and you are an amazing person ❤️ and you are super cool love you and your hair
she is awesome❤️ & a very good actor
& the one thing I especially love about her is that she is always smiling😀
She looked so pretty in sari ,i couldn't take my eyes off and this hairstyle is amazing ,gooo girl👏👏👏💋
She is the most favorite of. She is so real and has a touch of who she is in every fucking character she does.
She looks more Anne Hathaway than Anne Hathaway herself.
She looks like Kalki Koechlin .
Stop comparing her to others. She is proud of her identity.
sonali patil that’s not rude comparison she’s just putting a view across lol it isn’t even comparison

she's so different than typical bollywood actresses/ artists.

Most underrated actress and a loving human
She is do unique looking and so very intelligent. And this intelligence is just so natural.. She is not pretending or trying to be over smart.
She had come to my school once! Really kind soul.
She's amazing! Love her ❤️
I wish she did more films, such a talent actress
She is so cool and soo talented!!
She is looking beautiful ❤️
I mean she looks really good in small hair, me as a indian hate the 'rule' that small hair is for boys and long hair is for girls and this affects boys in schools too, if a boy decides to make his hair long the school won't accept but if a girl decides to cut her hair short, long the school doesn't really gets bothered by it.
Free to choose
With out hurting other

We love the way you are, dear Kalki Koechlin!
She is like tokyo from money heist

Wow.. I am her fan already.
Beautiful
This is for the first time I'm seeing her off screen and I never knew she is so nice and cute, thank you UA-cam for recommending this video
It's so normal for women to change things about themselves. But tell a guy with misaligned jaws with medical implications(especially in old age) to get a surgery and OMG they defend themselves like crazy. Men have so much confidence and take 1000 times more offence to any beauty advice for any scars marks wrinkles and surgery than women do. That's how differently we are raised. Women are blamed for not making those changes, men are not.
Waow, what an interesting topic, i am amazed🙄
