🤍 Kobo Libra Colour
🖤 Kindle Paperwhite 2021 with straps from @strapsicle
🤍 Kindle Basic 2024 with cover from @amazon
🖤 Boox Palma with case from @tudiaproductsofficial &popgrip from Title Pieces
I would LOVE to see how the @BOOX.global Color 7 and @kindle Colorsoft compare to the Kobo Libra Colour.

The issue is on kindle’s side, not kobo’s. Other types of epub pdf etc can be dragged and dropped onto the device or transferred via google drive or Dropbox onto kobo. Of course also anything you buy from kobo goes directly to your device. The security that needs to be removed from kindle books is because of Amazon. Kobo cannot make it easier to remove Amazon’s security 😅
@@joreneereads It is, yes. But I now currently have almost 1k books. And unless there is an easy and quick solution.... I'm not moving 🫣
@joreneereads I will also add, Kindle doesn't need to be plugged into a computer to transfer. I can send any format directly to my Kindle. Which was a quicker alternative than Kobo.
@@reneepolksreads your kobo has Google drive which allows you to wirelessly transfer
@@reneepolksreads it is definitely time consuming to move a large kindle library over but I highly recommend going through the process even if you don’t have a kobo. If you lose access to your Amazon account for whatever reason, you’ll no longer be able to read the books you’ve spent money on. I backed up all my kindle books because of this and when I switched to kobo, all I needed to do was drag and drop
@Morgangrice97 i might consider this
Respect your opinion, but I see things differently, the Kobo is great elegant, and easy. Not sure what steps you refer to, but I can add any book using google drive, and I can borrow book from the library which the Kindle wont let me do.
Agreed. I enjoy the Kobo UI a lot, but I assume Renee is referring to either transferring her Kindle books to the Kobo, which from what I've seen can take some time, or if she has multiple library cards, sideloading her Libby books from other libraries. To be fair, though, I have a Clara 2E, which doesn't have the Google Drive feature.
@asteptowardyou Correct! Its just way too time consuming to switch an entire personal elibrary over 😭 But I still like the device amd still use it.
I have no problem reading library books on my Kindle. Most titles I borrow are available that way.
@@cward2986 I think for the most part it’s only a feature available in the US
@@asteptowardyou Good to know!
I have five all running kindle software I like that they sync so as I read on one the others are upgraded to be on the same page .
My Galaxy phone gets the most use but the Kindle paperhwhite is becoming my most fave. light weight and has a plethora of settings to make it really user friendly for anyone.
The phone is with me all day so it has an advantage but when I can I read with the Kindle Paperwhite always.
@@Billbobaker My Kindle Paperwhite is superior 🤣
What is "ghosting" in ereaders?
@@SeverusSnapesDaughter Hey 👋 ghosting is when your screen shows a shadow/ghost image of the previous screen
@reneepolksreads ohhh! i feel like my kindle paperwhite '24 does that it's annoying 😵
