I think you didn’t understand the point. You are saying ‘Of course it takes effort; especially at first. Not effort to be present, but effort to remember to be so, again and again.’ This is basically saying the same thing. You are still trying to be present and putting effort into it, just that your focus has shifted towards remembering rather than the act of presence. But it is still the same, and you are basically saying something which is not true. No effort is required at any part of the process, ever. And that is probably the actual thing that most people have difficulties with: They wish effort would be involved, because at least then they can have a scale of progression, and ultimately, control over their own progress. Even though this very control is completely illusory, because awakening and presence is absolutely independent from our efforts. I hope this can help, I personally do believe things to be this way. Thank you for your understanding.
Spot on. It is the mind releasing misconceptions that is enlightenment. The ego will definitely try to make it more effort than it actually is, but there whole process is the ego learning that it requires no effort and then releasing.
This is a very interesting question. I don’t think it takes any effort. I think the thought that it takes effort is the mind, the ego resisting. Our minds want a “how to” because we want “being conscious” to be clear and easy. The fact is it’s easier than we think, so why tell ourselves it takes any effort at all? That’s like having an excuse, a reason for the mind to say “no, I’m not doing it, I don’t have the energy/time/focus/bandwidth/whatever to be present right now”. The fact is (in my experience) it takes no effort and in fact gives far more energy back than you would ever think it takes to be present even for a single breath. This is also clear in Tao Te Ching
Yesterday I needed a day of rest, but instead of taking it, I resisted, was irritable, and became angry at actual and perceived demands by others. My mind was dark. And I perversely wallowed in it all day. And then, late at night, I became aware of what was happening, and everything changed. Now is a beautiful place to be.
-Presence is simply awareness. -vigilant -Awareness is accepted what is in the present moment, not try to change anything. -spending time in your day just to be aware. There are many portal, smell, listen, seeing… thank you Kim!🙏♥️
🙂 Kim your videos are even a bit more explanatory then how Eckhart tells us. I guess because your a woman LOL, I needed this today, just found out my Dad has congestive heart ❤ failure.
Very insightful video. Thank you for sharing. I would like to share what I believe are nuances. I agree that it does not require effort. But in a way the opposite is true - it’s really a matter of letting go, also at a physical level everywhere in our body but perhaps even most in its center/core. Due to all our traumas of the past our body has grown so used to the contracted physical state that “letting go” does require some type of effort … Eckhart has been gifted with the rare skill to do that seemingly naturally… 🙏🏼
I love her... Many times I have listened to teachers and I was not sure if they have ever experienced suffering. In this case it felt very clear that she has and has found a way out if it.
And you know what else is the best about her she goes to the point and answers qustion exactly/unlike you know who that speaks 20min.and never answers the speakers question.Kim-is a dream spiritual leader/mentor😁⭐⭐⭐🏆❤❤❤
I think you know who answers the questions ..but many people cant remain present long enough to fully grasp, understand and awaken for themselves ..so they look for something less deep and more practical so to speak .. Its all wonderful teachings.. i appreciate both aspects of so called answers .. 🙏
Looking at how others are doing is not always comparison. Often, it is simply becoz we are unsure of what we are doing is right or not. And we can be wrong at times and talking to others helps. - sincerely, someone on the path
to be present: one key is let the body be like the receptive, allow the aliveness of receptivity.....let the sentience of the bodily being rest as simple alive receptivity; maybe allow yourself to relax into where the body already is......if this is too much.....just open to a sample of it for a short time.... that is enough.....then try it for just for the duration of the felt sense of one out-brath.....short little samplings yet do the sampling via receptivity maybe only 2- 3 times an hour, each hour. Find what works for you rather than try to "push the river"......maybe just one time per hour.....anything will work if we learn to be receptive and work with this rather than have ideas about how it ought to work......etc.......
I trust Archangel Eleleth to guide me through the process of seeing, acknowledging, feeling, and stepping into my own individual light power. I ask her to help me remain strong, confident, and open to receiving all kinds of blessings flowing my way.
It takes awareness, not effort. It takes being, not doing. There’s nothing to do, nothing to achieve. It takes no time, no thought. If you’re thinking about it you’re not “doing it” (it can’t be “done”)
Thank you, but always when I separate from heavy feeling, it goes to left side of my inner hemisphere energi field and sitts there and just feeling heavy. And i disturbs me because I feel like my left side is heavy and represed down. It i hard to stand tal and then Im always looking at it, what probably whas, and i cant mobe foreward because it holing me back. Sooner or later when I let go, it comes and suprises me as an illnes or some thing bad in my life because I was not aware. So is it not good to be a deamer an let go sometimes.
Feelings and emotions are different. You’re not free from thoughts and emotions if you’re holding onto them. Kim says you can feel all the way through an emotion in 30 seconds. That’s different from a feeling. You’re talking about a feeling, a state. whwt you’re describing is something that happens when we’ve created that state by not feeling the emotion. After a few minutes it should go away, otherwise we’re stewing on it, which is suffering and leads to disease
Ok, thanks, but I recognize emotions. I can detect every thought and state or bodyfeelings, but I do not know how to know my emotions. People often say that I look happy and fine, but it is often when I feel really bad in body to. And when I do feel relaxed and good they think something is wrong with me. Maybee as you say because I hide emotions. Sorry still do not know diferent between emotions and feelings in english because if I feel fine in body automaticly my emotions are fine, and good for my physiologically state.
@@nattdana6943 Emotions come up in the body and rise up into the mind which triggers thought. Emotions don’t last long. A feeling is a state which lasts much longer, for hours or days. An example is that you may feel anxiety as an emotion, and if you sit with it and move through it, it will dissipate quickly. If you hold onto it, it can turn into a feeling of anxiety or a state of anxiety and you can develop an identity out of it. People can think of you as an anxious person To your first comment, if you process the emotion (if you properly feel it) then it should not linger in you, as you say. So you might be speaking about a feeling (a state) rather than a feeling Additionally, the more you think about the emotion, the more it stays in you. Just feel it. Just be with it. No judgement, no holding on. Feel it and you won't have to let it go because the emotion will let go on its own when you have moved through it PS Brene Brown's book Atlas of The Heart is a good reference
Thank you, think I understand, and that is why so many on yountube say about law of atraction; that if you always are in a special state then it will stay in you because you think about it. I learnd to analyse my emotions, and that is why they stay. But I also learn so much by holding on. Maybee because I never was accepted when I was reacting after what I felt or sensed. Everybody could se on me what I felt, so to speak. If one is not accepted as she is, she will start to manipulate. Everybody does not have to like me but sometimes, from where I came from, it is a question of survival. Now I am more free and can be who I am, but still I wonder how it would have been if I had never tried to be somebody else. Ok I probably analyze to much but I am really curious. So now I was talking about it and holding it on? Other thing; I often drink to much Coffee and have a physiologically state of anxiety, and if somebody hits me, I would feel pain. But all of that can also be felt without trigger from outside. That is strange. And sometimes you can simulate a feeling, and that must be when it comes from the thought first, or?
I understand. This is very normal. I recommend switching to decaffeinated coffee for a month. You will notice a major change in your anxiety. The mind analyzes, it cuts like a surgeon’s scalpel and thinks it can find answers but that’s not always true. The heart is more intelligent and finds answers by accepting, being open, being receptive. Being present takes no effort in the mind. You can start by accepting what is happening. Instead of actively thinking, try to passively notice your thoughts. Let them be but don’t try to engage with them. It may feel like effort, but that’s not what is happening. Effort is trying, you trying to do something. What’s happening is the mind is trying to hold on to control while you are trying to notice your thoughts. This is conflict. The mind is interfering, it is trying to control thought. What is needed is to release conflict by accepting that there are thoughts. Because we cannot control thought. We think we have control but what we have is anxiety. Let go of anxiety and the mind will eventually relax. This may take a couple of days or a couple of weeks. Then it gets much easier and you’ll have more power. Good luck and be kind to yourself.
All is an effort to see effort loss of effort. From half true to true and atlas'static nature of experience. Identify with the identifyer, is that a happening doing what it does.
It can require more or less effort to be present at all times depending where you have being concentrating your attention and awareness. At the end it doesn’t change much anyway due to our nature to distort things. A person with their frequency in the 600 or 700 will be more present naturally than a person that is at 180. But they won’t know it. These experiences are very individual.
Of course it takes effort; especially at first. Not effort to be present, but effort to remember to be so, again and again.

You look like them also. I always noticed this all my life.

Thanks. Is anger really separate from "I"? I'm not sure.🙏

So are you saying that being present or being in the present moment should be effortless?
It takes awareness, not effort. It takes being, not doing. There’s nothing to do, nothing to achieve. It takes no time, no thought. If you’re thinking about it you’re not “doing it” (it can’t be “done”)
