At 83, I am doing 6 reverse lunges, 10 shoulder presses, 10 bend over rows, 10 hammer curls with 10 lb weights, and 3 sets. Devil Press is to hard on my back & deep squats kill my knees. Really enjoy the workouts. 😅
I’m loving this workout I’m doing this twice a week and then my usual bro splits at the gym. Finally getting some cardio in. However. It’s not quite total body it’s super weak on chest and hardly touches triceps. Also at the gym you can switch up weights. Go heavier on legs.

What's great about working with dumbbells is that you can use them to tone and burn fat and build muscle mass, I always use a variety of dumbbell exercises when I'm teaching my students.

Did this today as wanted easier workout as woke up not really in mood. Good, straightforward workout. I skipped the rests a fair bit to add more challenge. Got 5 rounds in. Push as hard as you feel you can (could be steady state of really have you puffing!) and it’s a great little burner if short on time 👍

He is going - legs, shoulders, back, biceps and core. I have three suggestions. If you want to go explosive, you can do 10 burpees. A level down is 20 mountain climbers. Or you can simply place the dumbells standing vertically and parallel (shoulder space) give an arm's length from yourself, do push ups and reach to touch them alternately. One push up touch right, one push up touch left. Hope this helps.
Definitely. Don't just jump into these movements. I would recommend any light activity that gets your body warm and then focus on some light stretching. Alternatively you could even rehearse the movements with a very light weight and get the blood flowing . I find my knee hurts if I just start squatting a lunging like a maniac without at least doing some half squats first/ Hope this helps
likewise 49, the devilpress is too hard on the wrists and my weights aren't all in ones like those ones they get loose when you out your full weight on them. I did some burpeez instead

You could do a press up without the dumbbells and just use them for the lifting phase.
