- The J11s rest as they slowly move north. 14-month old J56 Tofino can be seen surrounded by her family and friends. Later refreshed, they quickly move back down-island. Absent nearly 3 months, J-Pod returned to inland waters on July 4th and are still here today, the 8th. J56 Tofino is with J27 Blackberry, J31 Tsuchi, J39 Mako, J19 Shachi, J22 Oreo, J38 Cookie and J40 Suttles. Many thanks to Monika Wieland Shields for identification confirmation.

Fabulous video, with little Tofino! Thank you!
Thank you for watching, James!
I really love the special bond the J pod has. And little Tofino is growing ☺️. I really hope we can turn things around. Get laws made that preserve the rivers for the salmon so our wonderful Southern Resident Orcas can get healthy and thrive again. I'm an animal lover in general, but orcas amaze and facinate me.
I hope for the same thing Molly. I don't know if people can do the right things and bring down the dams and protect their habitat. In my opinion orcas have rights and they should be able to feed and raise their families in a healthy environment
@@989razzle I know there are people in this country who will go the extra mile to help the orcas. I only hope there are enough people that can persuade the government to put as many things in order as quickly as possible to do them any good. My brother moved to the pacific northwest a couple years ago. He is an animal lover and retired. I'm gonna try to get him to get the state representatives to get moving on things. And he knows quite a few people there. And, we can always pray. Anything can happen, who knows.
@@mollystroot3908 Please tell your brother that San Juan County is reviewing the County Charter and is holding public meetings right now concerning this issue. We are trying to add a Bill of Rights to the Charter for orca, wildlife, the environment & residents. Anyone can attend and comment at these weekly meetings. www.sanjuanco.com/1764/Charter-Review-Commission
@@989razzle Thanks. I sure will tell him and send him this link. He will be happy to help. He quit fishing a few years ago. He said the fish 🐠 never did anything to me. What right do I have to catch them on a hook, rip them out of their environment and kill them. 🤣🤣🤣 I'm certain he'll make time to save the really big "fish" 😅😅🤣🤣.
Amazing.. superb like..Thanks for sharing.. liked & sub.
You're welcome. Thanks for watching!
I’m so happy that the babies are finally making it!!! Stop 🛑 overfishing their oceans 🌊 and polluting them! Bring the salmon back! FREE all orcas in captivity......DON’T buy tickets to sea world! FREE all orcas into seaside ocean 🌊 sanctuaries!! 💙🐬🐳💧💦🌎
Thank you for the heart-felt comment My2 Cents! Bring Tokitae (Lolita) home.
OMG!! The baby is so cute!! Please stop over fishing their food supply!! We humans have many things we can eat they don't and we want our ORCA'S to survive and multiple instead of be endangered!
