- J-Pod meandered their way down San Juan Channel on April 5th, but stalled out when they reached the strong currents of Cattle Pass. They spent about an hour "tread milling" against the flood tide along the Lopez shoreline before veering over to the San Juan side and thrilling viewers at Cattle Point by coming inside of Goose Island with the whole pod all in one group, surface active as they cruised through the waves.

The little babies are absolutely stunning
Thank you for compiling & sharing! All creation declares God's glory
Watching these Orca cavort in the Sea brings as much joy as watching a foal running in the fields. It never gets old..
Absolutely fantastic and a joy to watch! Thank you Jason for sharing this!
Beautiful 🥰🖤🤍
That is the best video ever! All I see is pure fun!
Beautiful.
Still on my bucketlist - to fly from Europe to San Juan and Friday Harbor so see Jpod in the wild #blackfish
Thank you, it is so good to see them !!🖤🤍💙
Love this so much :):):)
Stunning footage Jason! Nice to see j-pod frolicking like old times
Joy!! Orcas remind me I’m glad to be Alive 🤗🐳🎉
They move something inside of me like nothing ever has. They are so exquisite and magical. I just cry when I see them on videos. I can't imagine what it's like to be in their presence. Thank you for sharing such a gift with the world. I love you!
Day, not only have I been in their presence many times, but I lived RIGHT THERE on San Juan Island for a year..and other spots as well. It is exactly as you imagine. I worked on a whale tour boat one season and visitors are constantly moved to tears the first time they see these great creatures up close. It's an extraordinary experience. Hope you get to come visit one day.
This brings me so much joy. I am moved to tears with wonder and ahhh. It is a bucket list dream of mine to see this for myself and dip my feet into the water. ❤
Brilliant job , this makes me so happy! ❤
It's hard not to anthropomorphize their behaviour, but I truly hope that they are joyful because they are healthy and well.
Exactly,,,
They are extremely intelligent and must not be underestimated. They have large brains and are not afraid to use them. I believe we could learn a lot from them. What a great video - thank you so much!
This should be a good reminder to boycott all marine land and aquariums that keep captive marine mammals.
I wish they could be identified
How so? All of J-Pod is here
Beautiful 🖤🤍🖤🤍
