also Southern Ontario ... re HUD. I found with ours that HUD is not visible if I wear my polarised sunglasses. So I got some non-polarised ones for when in the car. I seem to recall a test drive on a Jaguar iPace had the same issue. Probably the same technology on both
I've found a lot of HUDs are like that.. Ford, Lincoln, Mitsubishi and Nissan are nearly perfectly visible because of the colors they use. It seems like bright blue is the way to go

Small world! Most dealer employees will probably be able to give you a good demo of what you need to know as well. I'm 6'0 so you should have an easy enough view of the HUD while driving
