Respect to donut for giving the new company props and now doing this to make sure people don’t just assume the worst from the first video. A classy move they didn’t have to do.
People don't assume the worst from "the first video", people assume the worst because VinFast is a terrible company that tries to bully people into giving them good reviews. There's a reason why every major auto publication destroyed the car/brand in every review you could find.
Oh, they HAD to do it. Reviews are huge and if they don't address the issues they're doomed. The fact that they're listening and actively addressing, and reaching out to the reviewers, is a huge leap forward for manufacturers of... well... anything, admittedly. My father was an engineer and he would often write to manufacturers about some products, and even offered design changes. On a couple of occasions the companies actually listened and either adopted the suggested changes or similar alterations. OFC, my father never received any recompense other than a few free 'updated' products to get his feedback.
@@Florida_Fishing_Is_Supreme They may not have, but the review was among others and complaints youtube couch potatoes did not see. Such corrections were probably already on the table and the company intelligently reached out to public reviewers to make their updates visible, to quell some of the negative impressions.
it's still way overpriced for what it is. the ioniq comes with 7 year warranty and way more stock features. plus, it's from a reputable brand with nationwide dealership support and a 15 year parts availability. AND IT'S $11K LESS!
Still overpriced as hell, you have to be crazy to buy it and watch it lose value like crazy. Buy the car that will hold some value if you got a budget like that.
The Dodge Neon had significant suspension problems when it first came out. Dodge benchmarked the Honda Civic, but by doing so they made the rear suspension WAY too soft and it would bottom out frequently. Dodge quickly recalibrated the suspension and improve it the next model year. Vinfast has improved in a very short time which is great. Keep going.
The Hacksmith has been pushing this thing for years. It's cool in theory, but holy muffins that price tag. Things need to stop being subscription based fr
The most important question is whether or not this unit was made for press. Press units vs off-the-lot units are often wildly different. It's why Consumer Reports doesn't use press units. They buy from dealerships.
I mean I could buy them making sure their press cars have the best possible fit and finish on the parts. I don't think it would make sense for the things they talked about in this video, software and suspension parts, to be different from the production models.
@@clumsygarage1578it's literally not possible to make all of the updates they demonstrated if the vehicle is already in production. Either it's a press vehicle or it's a pre-production unit and they're using it for development. If it's a press car this would be BAD news.
My mates and I were just talking about how most industries are following the modern gaming route: - Get a product out as early as possible to please investors - The 'early adopters' become guinea pigs - Updates are rolled out as the product get's ironed out This is the modern world of everything being online and competition being fiercer than ever. Most people should really avoid the earliest releases of tech and wait for positive reports or significant patches.
This is aboutely not true and claiming ''most industries'' do this is just a blatant lie. The overwhelming majority of consumer products have gone through several rounds of quality assurance testing before they touch the market.
@@kilojoule11 Most software reliant industries are following suit. It obviously doesn't apply to anything else. Can't tell you anything I've owned with software that hasn't required an update with bug fixes, in the last 10 years. The earliest radiation therapy machines were released with software bugs, and killed many people because they cut corners, but go on about these quality assurance tests meaning anything, even in fields that hold peoples lifes in their hands.
@@kilojoule11OP should have said the tech industry and industries that primarily use technological innovation. Especially when it comes to markets where the consumers are businesses/government. It may not be the most prevalent in general consumer markets (aside from the obvious, gaming,) but its still a MAJOR issue that can have some really bad fallout if the product isnt up to snuff. (Example: government forces civil engineering department to implement new third-party software to organize projects only for the software to literally delete all of the local and cloud storage for a project. Really happened, a 60 million dollar project just gone. All documentation, everything.)
You would be correct if it wasn't for competition not being that fierce for the most part. Most companies that are doing this are companies that have been around for a long time that have established customer bases. What I'd really love is to see statistics on selling something quickly as opposed to selling something finished.
Being an early tech adopter/essentially a beta teater is one thing. I’d be willing to check out some crazy new phone tech if it was interesting enough however for my vehicle absolutely not lol. Give me something time tested from a reputable manufacturer, not paying north of $50k to beta test nothin 😂
Not hard to improve when you're already at the bottom. A ride so shitty, it's not difficult to improve with 10% stiffer springs and 10% dampers with better rebounding and compression. But it'll still be shit. You can put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig.
Honestly it's nice to see how fast they responded to this. I have a good friend who used to work chassis division for various companies, this was his usual process... They would actually purchase 2 or more vehicles that they wanted their car to be like. They would reverse engineer the things they loved about the vehicle they purchased. IDK what the VINFAST's process is, but it seems like they're starting from the ground-up. I'd recommend to VINFAST that they try reverse-engineering cars that they'd like to compare to. NOT to a point of ripping it off, but to see why their ride feels so much more different... Sometimes it's something as dumb as just a different supplier for suspension parts. Keep it up Vinfast. It's not an easy market to break into.
Electric cars are just another way for the globalist. Billionaires to take away your rights and freedoms. They hate that gas gives you autonomy. They want you to connect it to the grid. They want you to have cameras and microphones around you at all times so they can basically spy on you and monitor what you’re doing and what you’re saying at all times every electric car is a spy, mobile covered in cameras and everywhere you drive it’s recorded everything you say in your car is recorded and given to the government why on earth when anybody want that? Plus at best you get 10 years out of your car before you have to buy a new battery pack and that’s if you barely drive it if you’re someone who actually drives your car every day you might only get 3 to 5 years before you need a new battery pack, which is the price of a new car basically, why would you want that?
I owned an ID 4 2022 (I like it!) and just test drove a VF9 of my friend in early Feb 2024. I'd say they're pretty good (like 8/10 and better than my expectation) and my friend said they will keep improving/updating as that's their mentality. Maybe wait for a few years to purchase if you're not in hurry
It's commendable to see Vinfast addressing the issues and taking feedback seriously. However, it still seems like there's room for improvement, especially considering the price point. It needs a unique identity to truly compete.

For $53,000, it doesn't even drive better than my 2019 Mazda3 AWD hatchback for half the price. That's $26,500 I saved for gas. 30mpg combined, 35-36hwy, that's plenty of mileage to cover in a car that's way more reliable. 2nd most reliable brand in 2019. The VF is a gimmick trying to be a car.
To be fair, for a five year old company it’s really impressive that they were able to fix most of the problems of the first car in that short amount of time.
It would only be impressive if they did it behind the scenes during validation. The fact they released an unsafe product and let unsuspecting consumers validate it is flat out inexcusable.
@@joek.8247 What is really more inexcusable is Tesla releasing a Beta level truck to new owners. I saw recent reports that is that it's letting water through into storage compartments.
The car is still very flawed. Even Tesla, who is known for releasing unfinished products, builds much better "new" cars. The VF8 is clearly an unfinished design both in software and hardware. I mean, just look at how heavy the car is. Most EV's in the same size class are around 4,400lbs. The VF8 is a hefty 5,700lbs!
@@joek.8247 being the first car company in their country is already pretty incredible. 9:04 it's actually an image of a VF7, which is available for Vietnam market recently. Since it has a mostly similar engine, platform, suspension to VF8 and a smaller size, a lighter body; the driving experience and performance seems to be improved. It's primarily developed for the Vietnamese market, where a Tesla costs 200% more than USDM. And seeing as it's been developed in Vietnam, it's probably much harder to develop the blind spot detection software because of the chaotic traffic and road layouts in the cities. Lots of motorcycles lane splitting and no highway in city centre. Perfect car for Hanoi or Saigon, they need electric cars and cleaner air more than ever.
@@poolbum Vinfast is part of a huge Vietnamese conglomerate. China has its own EV industry, they'd rather sell their own cars than develop a new brand in Vietnam. Vietnam barely had an automotive industry and most Vietnamese drove motorcycles because of high import taxes on cars so Vinfast was founded to develop a domestic brand.
Just came back from back to back Vinvast VF8/Tesla Y test drives. Surprisingly, other than the very slight delay in throttle/pedal(0.2s maybe), driving experience and ride quality are quite comparable. And surprisingly, I got only speed limit and lane departure alerts during the 20 min VF8 test drive, both of which CAN be turned off. VF8 feels more like traditional cars, sure, the gear shift is a bit weird looking compared to Tesla's, and parking assistant grid is less refined on LED screen compared to Tesla, I actually gave VF8 a solid 7.5 overall compare to Tesla 8, but the fact Vinfast fixed so many software issues so quickly deserves some credits. Currently in Canada Tesla has 6.09% on 48 month lease while Vinfast is 2.99%@48 months. I am still a bit away from making a decision but right now considering services/warranty/rates/experience, I can't say that even with Tesla's reputation/history, it's a clearly winner compared to relatively unkonwn Vinfast. I'd say give it a test drive yourself if you can instead of solely relying on other people's feedbacks.
I am more to Tesla since recently their accident occurred which caused lost of lives entire family riding VINFAST due to speeding in residential area after attending a party and pple speculate it’s due to lost of control and electric malfunction/lithium which is known for this type of car.I am still on gas pedaling cars.Talking about of environment /air quality what about Lithium (toxic) disposal? How about if they run out of Lithium when times comes everywhere is EV.

Major respect for them responding. Have you noticed how customer service is now designed to frustrate customers. The fact they responded is huge. And if I could buy a vehicle from an emerging economy I would. It's the best way to help a country less developed than Japan, China, USA. So the fact it's not up to par with legacy automakers is to be expected. If it gets a chance at all like I believe it will, that's huge and a big accomplishment. I'm a Production Engineer. Going into production for QC is way more difficult than any layman could comprehend. So good job to this company..
the US market is probably very far off from the vietnamese one (pretty bumpy & dusty roads with motorbikes everywhere left and right, you better never change lane unannounced and you need extra blinkers on the sides...). Also that's the explanation behind the price; here in Vietnam imported cars are more expensive, making the Vinfast EVs somewhat competitive in the domestic market. And I swear that even with that price, there are plenty of new riches from the newborn middle-class who are all for the pride of a national domestic brand
@@something3194As an American, I'd like to support Vietnamese homegrown exports and I'm in the market for an EV. But Vinfast's price point is at the upper end of my price range - higher, really. Pushbutton controls for the basics with no dependence on a big touchscreen display to drive. The touchscreen can be there, but I'd still better be able to get home even if the screen is smashed by careless passenger trying to stow their tennis racket or whatever.

However, there’s a lease promotion going on now till end of this month 1/31/2024 with $250/month for Eco and $299/month for plus trim. That was why I picked up my second VF8. For the record, my 1st VF8 reviewed by you guys was from the first 999 batch City Edition with annoying issues. My second VF8 is the Standard long range edition which like you concluded a much better improvement over City Edition. 😊 VF does listen to complaints and acts quickly. Thank you for giving them a 2nd chance! Cheers!
Good for them! The car world can be too gatekeepy at times. New ideas from new places is something that should be celebrated. Same with companies owning their mistakes and quickly addressing them.
I own a Vinfast VF9 in Vietnam now. I'm happy with the improvements of Vinfast in the update of software and replace the error equipment in the car. The price to buy a car in Vietnam is not cheap, but we are willing to give them a chance to serve us. Most Vinfast VF9's owners are happy with our choice.
Still, this is fully developed from an emerging development country, having them in the US shores is a great achievement already. BYD cars didn’t make it here or Dacia or Perodua or Luxgen. Kudos to my Vietnamese brothers!! Hope all these issues get fixed!
The US is a second world country, it's just rich, I guess it's an achievement to get there just because of the market, but that price isn't even slightly competitive so not sure what the point is, if they were obviously trying to be the cheapest option and undercut everyone else this car would make sense
For other brands, they need sales, not like Vinfast, which imports Chinese components and assembles them then arrogantly brings them to the US. VF8 is full of errors and has to be used as a taxi in Vietnam.😅😅
I’m surprised by VinFast’s marketing and sales strategies in the US, compared to Canada. Up North, it is less expensive than an equivalent Hyundai Ioniq 5, Nissan Ariya, Subaru Solterra or Tesla Model Y (an AWD Model Y costs $10 000 more). It also has a stellar warranty, competitive finance and leasing deals and is available immediately (something that can’t be said for some rivals). I have actually seen quite a few on the roads already, so their strategy seems to be paying off. But it’s odd that it isn’t replicated in the US. Still, I have to say that I’m impressed by the improvements that VinFast carried out on the VF8, especially considering the timeframe!
Interesting, I'm assuming the price points have something to do with the costs associated with importing a car to Canada versus the US markets. As James and Nolan pointed out, the car seems like it is competitive in that slightly less expensive/less luxury range, so it's good to hear that they have a market where they're able to meet that price point.
@@susan_beaverImport duties seem to be lower in the US than in Canada (although this context is reversed for vehicles assembled in China), so it’s puzzling. But the automotive press hasn’t been as harsh regarding VinFasts in Canada compared to the US and the company has been very active on social media and at auto shows, like the one that just took place in Montréal (they had the VF3, VF6, VF7, VF8, VF9 and a pickup concept displayed and accessible). They are present in Canada’s 3 core markets (British Columbia, Ontario and Québec) with dealerships in the main metropolitan areas that are very receptive to EVs, too. Paired with more competitive pricing, all this helps! I’m just interested to see how their new models will fare!
I’ve had my VF8 since Sept 2023 and love it! VinFast has been really good about software updates and bug fixes too. And for those that still think the battery is under subscription: WRONG! They scrapped that program before the VF8 even became available to Canadian consumers.

The fact that you guys get upset about the car not allowing you to change lanes unless the blinker is on is so weird to me. In Denmark, all new cars with ACTIVE lane keeping assist will not allow you to change lanes unless you use the blinker. That is the default setting. Also - how else would the system know if the lane change was intentional or because of lack of attention, sleeping at the wheel or the likes? You CAN change lanes without using the indicator, but it will require you to overcome the force put by the lane assist to keep you in lane. Can be done, but much easier if you just use the indicator. Which you are also required to do by law in almost any situation anyways.

I've got a '21 VW and its warning chimes are somewhat annoying, though it pops up a message on the dash as to what the chime was about - cold temp, lane assist. The lane assist can be annoying as it alerts to 'keep in center of lane' when staying there, or when going through areas like construction where the lines have been removed but are still visible. Just to mention VF8 has a substantial curb weight of 5.732 Ibs while the model Y only has 4.363 Ibs. For those two similar segment SUV, that 1369 Ibs gap really mean something. Cause a) these "minor" or "easy" fixes require tons of extra R&D, extra safety testing, changes in the assembly process (for the physical parts), tons of extra man hours, renegotiating with suppliers, etc... . Imagine this with any of the big established car manufacturers.... a) they couldn't care less, b) if it would hurt their sales their "fix" would probably be to introduce a new sporty appearance package to make it look cooler and hire one of the Kardashians to endorce it, and c) if they were to actually fix the issues, the corporate meetings alone to agree on how to do it would take years and it wouldn't be before a model refresh so the extra costs would be minimized. And a good chunk of that high sell price will probably be shipping and tarifs, i'm sure if they would build it locally it be cheaper.
You do realize that these problems were really bad, right? All of these fixes were mandatory fixes, I'm not sure why you guys are lauding them for doing what's expected: fixing a defective product. And here's the thing: they fixed these on the next revision, not for current owners.
Oh no, vinfast is a company that only imports components from China for assembly, they do not own any technology, vf8 sells very poorly in Vietnam because of many errors, vinfast has to be used as a taxi.😂😂
I think that company are doing pretty good, they are just starting out with barely any knowledge and money, went back and changed actual parts, I think that puts them higher on the board, hopefully they continue to improve
I mean, it's seems like a decent car with decent looks and a seemingly cozy interior. The price is the problem. It needs to be 10k less honestly. I like that there are brands popping up from countries that don't really have any car production. I would personally be tempted with just that as a selling point, but the price is aimed at the wrong audience. They simply aren't premium enough for the price and establishing a foot hold in the market for a new brand is best done through the low end. But they seem to be taking on feedback really well so I'm looking forward to what they make in the future.
This review is much more objective and fair than the last, which was comical and heavily biased for no reason. For example, the first video criticized the VF8 for not having a start button.....wait, what? Many EV's today such as Tesla's don't have a start button - you just step on the brake and the car wakes up, ready to go. It's convenient. Why was that pointed out as a problem with Vinfast and not Tesla? See how unfair that review was? This review is much more balanced and truthful. The first one sounds like a badmouth campaign somebody paid these guys to say.

I think the Chimes are specifically for the Vietnamese market where car drivers are constantly dealing with Motorcycles cutting them off. Also, have you seen Vietnamese people's parking skill? It is comedic. So to some customers, the sensors are essential and more important than anything else (including the engine).
To be fair, Vinfast has a lot of potential to improve and grow. They did an excellent job in manufacturing gasoline cars for the Vietnamese market and have a pretty good reputation. Even some Vinfast was in the VIP motorcade when Joe Biden visited Vietnam last year. But in my opinion, the 53k$ price tag is a bit too much for the American market. 45k$ is the best suited price range for the VF8. But there are some reasons for the high prices. Taxes, import fee for some high tech stuff, shipping from Vietnam to the US,.....But i think when Vinfast comes into serial production in the North Carolina factory then the price will be reduced for the US market consumers. Still, respect for Vinfast🇻🇳🇻🇳
Hello from Taiwan. Yet it is still a communist dictatorship country, why should we trust them again? Is it not enough with North corea, China, Venezuela, Russia???
Do you believe in cars made in a country that has no basis for car manufacturing? The brand is from Vietnam, but the components inside are all made in China.
It’s really impressive that Vinfast, a relatively new brand, already has the ability to rapidly fix and improve their products from customer feedback, which is something that a lot of legacy car manufacturers do not do unfortunately.
You got a really appreciate a car company that cares about the customer these days and actually wants to fix whatever issues there are cuz most car companies could care less they're all built to break nowadays but these people are actually trying to make a difference
One word to describe VF8 is UNBELIEVABLE after my first roundtrip of 350 miles in one day! I would say driving VF8 is believing. In addition to other VF8 high tech features including HUD, face recognition, 360 camera, voice activation, heated and cooled seats, automatic driving seat adjustment; Vinfast ADAS and blind spot warning are quite interesting. On a road trip, if you want the EV to take over, just hit the ADAS button when the EV reaches 60-70 miles/hour. All you can do now is to sit, relax and enjoy behind the steering wheel and touch it when asked. Vinfast ADAS is like a cruise control, but much better with advanced technology. The ADAS will center the EV between the lanes and drive you uphill, downhill, along the curve road and between other vehicles; it will follow the same speed or stop as the vehicle in front of you, does. When you try to change a lane, a bright yellow warning on either the left or right mirror will flash if a vehicle is coming up. After all the due at sign in, my $200 deposit and my old car trade-in, I paid roughly $200/month after taxes for a VF8 Eco, which is about $7/day with a 3-year lease to own contract. It's even cheaper than the price of a Big Mac meal 😁
Saying they fully fixed the driver aids is a little optimistic, especially since the blind spot is still so unsafe I don’t love the idea of selling a car that isn’t ready for the public just to use that feedback to finish it
of all the things in this video that were "fixed", I think the one thing that should have remained was the car stopping you from switching lanes if you didnt use your signal... FORCING ppl to use turn signals isnt a bad thing, considering that 90% on the road today seem to think that turn signals were an option they couldnt afford... I swear to GAWD the number of times a DAY ppl switch lanes without using their signal would require more hands than you can fit in a car and considering in ALL states, part of the driving test you will FAIL is NOT using signals it isnt like people dont know...
I am Vietnamese, and VinFast is one of our prides. While VinFast cars may still have some flaws, I hope that Vietnamese people and foreign friends can give VinFast opportunities to improve. I think it's awesome, someone from the minor/major car company actually watched the Donut video and responded back! Way to put another notch in the ol Donut belt and be put on the map once again! 👏👏
The lane switch resistance is a safety feature. Like lane drifting. Shouldn’t switch without using your blinker regardless. It’s a flaw. But a flaw on the driver. Makes that feature useless now. A bad driver would dislike that more than bad one who doesn’t.
Imagine an accident happens right in front of you or some other obstruction on the highway and when you go to switch lanes to avoid it your car stops you from doing that because you didn't have your blinker on and sends you head on into it lol
@@NoseyNick Oh, if it's like that then that's not too bad. Their first video on it made it seem like you would go to turn and the car would jerk you back into the lane unless you had a turn signal

One thing to note, here in Vietnam we ride these within 40-80km/h (~30-50 miles per) so these problems are only recognized while being in a marrket where speed matters. That's why I loved my GTI in the States while I was there and I'm happy with a honda CRV here in Vietnam currently, I could not care less about speed herre since you cannot go fast, and if you do you'll kill someone or yourself with the bad roads and drivers.

- Get a product out as early as possible to please investors
- The 'early adopters' become guinea pigs
- Updates are rolled out as the product get's ironed out
This is the modern world of everything being online and competition being fiercer than ever.

Plus at best you get 10 years out of your car before you have to buy a new battery pack and that’s if you barely drive it if you’re someone who actually drives your car every day you might only get 3 to 5 years before you need a new battery pack, which is the price of a new car basically, why would you want that?

About pricing of 52k, that’s the top of the line Plus trim. Eco trim starts at 46k.
VF does listen to complaints and acts quickly.
Fuck
Still, this is fully developed from an emerging development country, having them in the US shores is a great achievement already. BYD cars didn’t make it here or Dacia or Perodua or Luxgen. Kudos to my Vietnamese brothers!! Hope all these issues get fixed!
I'm tempted to agree, but it's not really a great achievement if "no one" buys them.
@@SansNeural tôi đồng ý. Vinfast cần thêm thời gian và nguồn lực tài chính.
I'm just concerned because they keep arresting anyone who criticized vinfast, and white people don't like cracking down on free sleech
US has tariffs on Chinese and VN EVs. To protect Tesla.
May be they will provide 7500$ off at the dealership! Consumer will feel happy he got deal!
They're actually leasing these cheap, about $300, I saw somewhere, quite a bit less than a model Y.
I’ve had my VF8 since Sept 2023 and love it! VinFast has been really good about software updates and bug fixes too. And for those that still think the battery is under subscription: WRONG! They scrapped that program before the VF8 even became available to Canadian consumers.
Really? The Subscription battery was one of the things I actually liked.

VF8 lane keep assistant can do what you say. And it always active every unlock than driver can tweak if they dont want. Vf8 safety standard is for euro market

The chimes are probably needed for just how crazy the traffic in Vietnam is. but it would be even crazier in Vietnam,
Not really, most cars in southeast asia don't have monitoring features yet people don't constantly crash into eachother.
It does have a bit of a pull if you drift or try to change lanes, but that is easily overcome and doesn't affect driving other than a slight need to put more pressure on steering where you want to go. Sometimes it doesn't turn off when using the turn signal when nothing's in the blind spot.

Idk how bad this car was before, never even heard of it tbh, but you have to give them credit for a) caring about the customer's input on any problems with the vehicle to spend time and money to fix these issues, and b) the time it took them to fix them.

I would personally be tempted with just that as a selling point, but the price is aimed at the wrong audience.

I swear to GAWD the number of times a DAY ppl switch lanes without using their signal would require more hands than you can fit in a car and considering in ALL states, part of the driving test you will FAIL is NOT using signals it isnt like people dont know...
The “no lane change, without blinker” thing, is actually very common
I am Vietnamese, and VinFast is one of our prides. While VinFast cars may still have some flaws, I hope that Vietnamese people and foreign friends can give VinFast opportunities to improve. For Vietnamese people, VinFast is truly a national pride, a new step forward, a leading bird of the Vietnamese nation. Thank you, our friends
Rooting for the Vietnamese. Way to go.

So nobody is talking about the plate blurring on the Tesla but at 7:52 you can also clearly see the plate 8WDB402 not blurred out
I think it's awesome, someone from the minor/major car company actually watched the Donut video and responded back!
VF8 does NOT do that. It's like a magnet keeping you in lane if you let go of the wheel, but a magnet that any weakling can push past.
@@NoseyNick Oh, if it's like that then that's not too bad. Their first video on it made it seem like you would go to turn and the car would jerk you back into the lane unless you had a turn signal
Imagine if everyone drove without having their head up their kazoo, what a concept to be capable of using the turn signal in any situation.
@@Drcraigfreeman You've never been in an emergency situation?
@@Drcraigfreeman Ok bozo, keep feeling invincible until you are the one in that situation.
I cannot express how much I hate this new automotive business model that Tesla started where you release an unfinished piece of junk and then just expect your users to tell you what's wrong so you can fix it later.
Or do what Tesla says now: the car is fine, it's you that's wrong. Luxury now is an iPad stuck to the dashboard and a barren, I mean, minimalist interior.
You're right, I much prefer the old model of "manufacturer X releases vehicle with major flaws" - It's ok, we'll fix it in next years model, just pick that up instead... A software update is so brutal in comparison.
Where's the software update for my Nissan CVT transmission? a recall order 10 years later after 2 failed tranmissions? Thanks!!
@@Canuyerdome I personally prefer the really old model of you make sure the damned product is perfect off the bat before you release it like Mercedes Benz used to do, in the 50's thru the 80's. But I guess kids these days wouldn't have a clue about such ancient history.
Not even a fan but I've never seen that happen with any Tesla model.
@@petercollingwood522 I would LOVE for you to point to even a single car in history that was "perfect" coming out of the factory... legit, I'll wait. Just one.
You should be indicating when you turn and switch lanes anyway so the "lane assist" shouldn't be a problem for people who know how to drive
I was in Vietnam in august/september last year. VinFast is EVERY WHERE. Not a bad car, but the alternatives I was riding in, Mercedes S450, I was a bit spoiled. I do love the Vinfast cars though. Nice and quaint.
Laggy accelerators are a new safety feature thats designed to stop people from accidentally stepping on their accelerators and launching the car in places where they don't want to launch the car, like garages or parking spaces
...which in the process causes safety issues elsewhere.
Laggy accelerators are stupid imo. Not gonna prevent any accidents, you can't idiot proof life.
Vinfast has done a fantastic work. Best wishes of success.
