These are absolutely gorgeous😍.. I bought a little bird house from DT some time back and I painted it, put it to the side to dry and that was that 🤣. Now I must find it and finish it. Lol tfs

Is it best to gesso first as the wood is absorbent?
I didn't have any issues with these and only did one coat but gesso couldn't hurt especially if the color is light. ❤️
