Yes, this great. Though I can read a lot of Spanish and French, understanding either when spoken rapidly (in a film, for example) is very difficult for me.
Your teaching style is very effective. Over the years, I have learned a little Spanish for traveling. I can read simple Spanish and can speak a little. However, the hardest part has been understanding the spoken word. However, I was able to understand most of what you said! Thank you!

Thank you for the video. Soy un hablante nativo en español y en general siempre se dice "De nada", por lo menos en Latinoamérica (Uruguay). Hay algunas formas que nunca había escuchado, por ejemplo las últimas dos, pero siempre se aprende algo nuevo jeje. Saludos!!

Yo siendo un nativo de méxico digo generalmente “no hay de que”.
Aun este video es muy útil para principiantes, aunque no es completamente necesario siempre decir estos tipos de formas.
“Denada” es totalmente válido en este caso.
Aquí en México es común que digan “denada” , y no hay problema , nomás que no lo usas tan frecuentemente ya que de vez en cuando puede ser un fracasó , si quieres un rango de nivel alto , absolutamente recomiendo este video .

Spanish is an incredibly diverse language, and I'm sure there are more than 11 ways to say "de nada". Since I teach Spanish from Spain I didn't know those expressions from Colombia. Thanks for adding another one to the list :)

In Perú people usually say "No te preocupes" or "no se preocupe". I am native spanish speaker by the way.

As Spanish native speaker I have never hear "nada, nada". One often used in Colombia is: "Con gusto".
Es muy utilizado en España.

In Granada, I often hear, “no pasa nada”. Is there a specific context for this expression, or a. It be used as an informal “de nada”
"no pasa nada" will be more like "it's nothing" / "nothing happens". It can be used when someone does something for you. For example: thanks for helping me doing the laundry: "no pasa nada"

Turns out native speakers CAN speak in a way that's understandable by beginners. I was about to believe the languages taught in school is not even the same as that spoken in Spain 😅
You are right. Unfortunately the way of learning in most schools is old-fashioned and out of connection with real life. That's one of the reasons why I'm doing these videos, because I believe that Spanish can be learned in a more practical way and become conversational faster
Nice....and your video would be even better if you would make a list at the end of the formal forms and then the informal, and review them one more time. Learning requires a lot of repetition....as you know!

I've also heard many in Spain say "Venga" in the informal.
"Venga" as a synonym of "de nada" I haven't heard it. "Venga" is used like "vamos", as a translation of "let's go" in English. Is that what you mean?
@@c.learningclub I do in fact mean "De nada"= "Venga"......I've heard the "Venga" in response to "Gracias many times in Barcelona, Granada and Madrid. I have noticed that the "Venga" response is more common amongst those españolas/españoles born during and before the 1970's. The "Venga" form with an intonation "Veeeengaaa" has been my favorite variation of "De Nada". It's efficient, effective and passionate "Veeeengaaa".

The way that you explain words with your hands works great for me. There are no many really good content creators for beginners. I also enjoy watching Butterfly Spanish. Why do people from Spain accent the word "video" on the first syllable, but many people in Latin America put the accent on the second syllable?
Great observation! I'm guessing is because in Latin America there's a tendency to stress the second-to-last syllable in words that end in a vowel, especially when they're of foreign origin like "video". Also, factors such as geography, historical influences, and cultural preferences all play a role in shaping pronunciation differences between regions.

Retired American here inSpain. Hablo Español bien ( i have a degree in Spanish.) This dude speaks exceptionally good Spanish. Slowed down slightly for folks to learn. He articulates all the sounds perfectly……this is “Castillian” (classic) Spanish pronunciation……from SPAIN, not Latin America, or any other region or country.

I am not a native speaker but I did pick up on his accent. I grew up in Southern California. Castilian Spanish sounds like it has a lisp to my ears. I guess I am on the cusp of becoming fluent.

A los españoles nos va mucho la guasa (we like jokes), así que si un amigo te da las gracias también le puedes responder “son 10 euros 💶 “ (10 euros please) 😂 Y tu amigo podría responder de nuevo “Que te lo pague Dios! que yo no tengo suelto…” (may God repay you… because I don’t have any spare change).

Hola! I see your point and I totally respect it. I think, however, that from the beginning of the video I made myself very clear that there is nothing wrong by saying "de nada". The goal of this video was to show the diversity of the Spanish language as well as a great practice for conversational Spanish. If this has been misunderstood it was never my intention.
