Energy storage is growing significantly, which is likely a big reason the stock jumped. Also, big money reallocating their funds likely helped
But how much profit is being made. Give me the numbers. ROE, cost of capital, capital spend etc not just a blanket statement that anyone can make.
I think the delivery numbers are amazing because of the current economy but I think what your forgetting was energy, the energy side is exploding, set to grow 75% this year. Q2, Q3 and Q4 set to be record breaking quarters for sure!
The main focus on Tesla for investors should be cars + energy.
FSD is coming down the line and that will be the icing on the cake but in the mean time the focus should be on cars + energy.
Also Cybertruck has already outsold Ford’s Lightning pickup truck.
So give me some numbers not just hot air. The numbers, the earnings, cost of capital.
Not just bullish blanket comments. Anyone can state this. Back it up with actual figures. Prove it!!!

1Q with the FSD coming up provided it with a lot of movement. Plus the Megapack/energy development with the excitement of FSD, So it is not only the deliveries. Ignore the Cyber truck, delivery , FSD and Mega pack, plus that expert didn't speak about the energy. Experts do not understand the entire business nor tech

Stock movement like this is common for Tesla, it can happen even without any real news. All part of the show really.
Yep, super volatile short term, meanders up and down within 50% plus or minus of a value for three or four years, then shoots up.

Imagine selling a few million FSD cars to Uber with a recurring $100 to $200 per month on each car.

It’s one of the largest companies in the world and sells 1.9 million autos a year….. it’s overvalued
Tesla went up this much cause it has been undervalued, meaning it is still undervalued.

The point is the sales and margins in the past have been good but that is changing as more competition eats away at their margins and that means less profit.
What are the budgets for these new projects?
What margins are expected and on what basis?
What are the timelines?
What requirement for regulatory approval?
All questions unanswered..
ATM it’s all ‘trust me’ territory. Because Musk has done it all before he’ll do it again.
All of this potential is just hot air.
Hot air in the balloon hoping it will take off.
Profitability will take time. Many years and in the interim will be soaking up all of those precious but reducing profits from the EV business.
What happens to a business’’ bottom line /net profit when Billions are spent on R&D well that’s written off in the P&L account. That’s results in much lower net earnings and makes the stock price much more expensive on a PE basis.
Most have dreams for Tesla like Musk.
Projects so many times get delays.
Have cost blowouts. What are costs for Robo this and Robo that. We don’t know !!!
Time to ask the important questions above not rave about the numbers and taking unspecific stabs in the dark at prospectively.
When you’re looking years ahead, it’s pure utter speculation and hype which this channel is doing but can backfire spectacularly with a sentiment change in tech. Dangerous territory when real identifiable earnings are not known and if the case will be years away..
Looking out3,5 or 10 out is just fraught with danger. It’s high risk investing. Punting in fact.
Elon already staid that the autonomous taxis would have their own lanes, he’s even designing the roads to be tunnels that the taxis drop down into with zero traffic. What do you think the boring company is? It is to build the roadways of the future.
Well he’s about 30 years behind so…. Anyone alive will have half their lives over if they start today with massive trillion dollar fund to get on it 😂
just remember , other manufacturer would need the hardware built in their car to be compatible to FSD .That would take time and Would that not make them copying Tesla ? I think the FSD Licensing is really just going to be Tesla cars being rented and rented FSD .That would seem easier . Also if somebody uses their own car as a taxi , what happens if there's damage or dirty things done inside by some clients ? Who cleans the mess or pays for the mess ? Like anything used by the public , things like that will happen ...
I will never board a driverless vehicle! I don't want to be held hostage inside a computerized tin can when the thing loses its brains and plows into the back of another car at 65 mph when the rest of the traffic stops! Autonomous vehicles need their own lanes, isolated from the human driven vehicles.

Sure, there are drunk drivers that are dangerous to others and to themselves but it is possible to spot a drunk taxi driver and you can refuse to get in the car with a drunk driver. With a driverless vehicle, you would never know when something goes wrong with its brains and the thing decides to drive off a bridge or sonething like that.

Do you want to be in a car with eight eyes looking in all directions, with superhuman reflexes, with 100 million lifetimes of "experience" driving, or do you want to hope that Ahmed who has been here from Pakistan for six months will see the potential crash and avoid it?

Maybe had surgery counting on doctors to have their head in the game
