If nobody wants an EV, then why is it necessary for the Administration to put a 100% tariff on Chinese Brands? I mean how dumb does CNBS think their viewers are?
That's what we did. In the time we have had or Model Y, we have put 9,000 miles on it. During that same time we have reduced the truck miles to 800. Saved about $1,200 so far.
They keep talking about "the transition" to EVs... hahaha. I won't hold my breath waiting for that 'transition'. EVs are glorified golf carts. People won't buy them in volume unless they become truly affordable, but US manufacturers don't want to produce those EVs. The only 'transition' here will be to Chinese EVs.
Until the power grid can handle, it wont happen. And the current old outdated national grid can barely handle demand now. Adding millions of EVs is just impossible without at least 100s of billions of dollars in grid updates.
Used Tesla’s filling up lots? 😂He’s jumping at conclusions, he needs to do some research before making false statements. This has been debunked already. Since Tesla doesn’t use the dealership system. Dealerships have lots to store unsold inventory, to be available for customers to buy. Tesla uses showrooms with no room to hold hundreds of cars like dealerships. So they rent parking lot space to house new Tesla’s that have been sold. Than they will be shipped to delivery centers where they are prepped for customers to pick them up.
According to Tesla's own information released to shareholders last quarter, inventories doubled in 1Q24 compared to 4Q23. You also have Tesla severly cutting production hours at it's factories, which they wouldn't be doing if inventories weren't a problem.
That’s not how it works. The batteries are full of valuable minerals. They want the batteries to recycle them. You think Cat converters end up in a land fill too?
gigacasting was such a stupid idea. Upfront it sounds great, until you realize that any fender bender now results in your car being totaled. 40% of accidents with Tesla results in the car being totaled because the entire body is one piece, so you have to tear the whole car apart to fix it. Just for those who wonder why the insurance on a tesla is so outrageous.

Some people also buy used high end luxury cars not understanding how much it will cost them. Same with those who buy used EVs.
I have ben wanting to buy a used ev so my diesel can stay parked.

I would never buy any EV besides a Tesla, especially used!
hyundai charge you $60,000 for a battery replacement.

The transition to EV's is well underway. There are already millions of EV's charging on the grid overnight when demand is low.

@@PeterSedesse not really, jobs cut were at the corporate level. Not line workers.
Never buy a used EV. When the battery pack goes bad, it's a $20,000 repair.
Never buy a new EV
A used EV is great value if you plan to not sell it
It's going to last a decade..a warranty would last ten years even used
Not accurate
I keep watching used lightnings. No way I buy a new ev
Wait unti they start filling and leaking into the landfills

Dude not everything goes into a landfill. LOL

My insurance went up $300/year when I switched from a 2017 Jeep Cherokee to a new Tesla Model Y.
The Climate " Hoax " can be expensive .....!!!
