- Surprise surprise, I'm back in Oregon! While here, I figured I might as well do some truck camping and that's what this episode is about. Things didn't go exactly according to plan but when do they ever? I ended up sleeping at a pretty sweet spot right alongside the coast and cooking a marvelous meal. I also share the "big news" I talked about in my last video.

Hey champ, I’m noticing you only have g clamps holding your shell down to your truck ... I would get some good solid bolts with nuts that lock so they don’t rattle lose ... just saying!

I live in eastern Oregon and I won't go near Portland at this point. I hope she stays safe.

I asked my friends who live in Portland if it's how dangerous the news said it is. They sent me a picture of them barbecuing in their backyard with their friends having a good time. They let me know the news like to overexaggerate a lot and the "riot" only happens in a small isolated area of Portland

What a gorgeous spot. The beaches go on forever and the colours at sunset are just outrageous! The way the morning sunlight hits those huge rocks out there is just dazzeling! Such beauty. That burrito looked fabulous. Being alone gives one time for reflection and introspection. You appear to thrive alone well. And you enjoy your friends too. I do believe you are living your best life right now.

That was one beautiful video... I love the way you enjoy life, even though it can be frustrating you always found a way to make it worthwhile to find peace and enjoyment in life. I also admire the fact that you let Tessa live her life to the fullest she can get... my bf or husband would get me to go with them and if I didn’t they would argue I have someone else or they’re not good enough...trying to make me feel bad... in Tessa’s case, I’m glad for her and congratulations 🍾🎉🎊🎈 !!!

Hey Jonathan and Tessa Congratulations on the job and the getting things adjusted their with the camper it takes time to just find what works for you I wouldn't pay for the apartment I'd just go get an Rv and do it that way FYI just to save cost

If you are going to be in the Portland area for a few more weeks then you should take I 84 into the Columbia River Gorge and camp in one of their many campgrounds. You will regret it if you don't see the beauty along the Columbia River.

Oh man Jonny, it's beautiful up there! While it's not the Slumber Queen, that setup you used on this trip us functional and "good enough". I do offroading trips with a similar shell/bed setup in my Ford Ranger. Thanks for the vid!

I’m bout to hit the road. Let me join You sometime on your way back. I’m near SF but can be in bend in 6 hours. I just picked up a pop up camper for my truck and wanna travel with my wife and two dogs. We’re young tho like your age, Would be cool to tag along since everywhere you camp is exactly where we would and your lifestyle matches ours. Check out fort Bragg/Mendocino sometime. Just got back from there and it was amazing ocean views - not very crowded

Dude you should of bought that utility trailer to haul the slumber queen on. Would of been cheaper over all and could of hauled all of Tessa's stuff in one trip. Utility Trailers always have a good resale value if maintained well. All the setbacks man. Gotta learn when to wake up and smell the coffee.

the oregon coast is pretty, but most of the coastal towns are SO TACKY... and the worst filthy sleaze bag motels I ever saw...were there.
