If the RV was parked across from the mayors' or governor's house it would be gone in a heartbeat.
"i'm a veteran" "As soon as I get my pension, I'm outta here".......Bull.Shit.
I completely without question agree with you... as an ACTUAL disabled veteran, I laughed out the same word after hearing him say that...
He is a liar, clearly.
Im not a drug addict
*proceeds to act like a drug addcit*
If you or me, had a busted up camper dumped on the public street, the city would be hitting us for with so many fines. A lot of these campers are not registered or insured, but the tax payers better have all of that or you are getting trouble. Why are two separate rules for the people doing the right thing and those who have decided they are going to do whatever they want? He has been there for 10 months totally unexpectable.
Exactly! It is ridiculous
That's how these systems work. Medical/educational/judicial
WE THE WORKING, LAW ABIDING CITIZENS are handed consequences while our "mentally ill" (bs) slide by able to do whatever to whomever and receive get nothing done to them.
*I personally know of a convicted rapist working within the Salem/Keizer parks and recreation. He literally stands out there "working" around our children, with the very real chance of him offending again being basically encouraged. Not the first time he has been caught at work. He tried to get a first grader into a bathroom stall while employed at the reed opera house YEARS ago but now he's a happy predator in the parks open air. All because "he's mentally disabled and has rights" ........... shit is sideways and I AM TIRED OF IT
The street vermin get to do whatever they want. The police are afraid of them. The DA is afraid of them. The politicians are afraid of them. This is insane.
Property taxes go up every year. For what exactly ? So that homeowners can see more trash and crime? This is despicable
Move.
There is growing interest right now in re-instituting a forced labor system in order to get the homeless situation back in check. I’m hoping we can get something like that back. If a person won’t be self-sufficient, then it should happen by *force.*
Property taxes go into city and county officials pockets
Paying taxes on stuff you already own is INSANE
@@TVHouseHistorian Let's pilot that program on your a$$.. so.. you think you create value huh?)/*
We are not alone in this fight. Incompetent city officials
No. This situation is much bigger than that. The homeless situation - not just here, but all throughout the entire nation - is being used as a wildcard to dismantle the right to own private property. Anyone who owns a house or rental property right now is looked at as “the oppressor,” so their solution to the problem is make private property ownership impossible, or at least undesirable.
You're alone, I'm alone.. only our glorious leaders get protection from their fat blue goons.. nice racket eh?
You can thank Uncle Scam and american mafia posing as a legitimate government...
Idiots. And they're skimming as much $$$ as they can grab with three hands.
What that bum is doing is completely illegal and the city does nothing. So just torch it. Burn it down. We have to start taking matters into our own hands if we ever want to end this mess.
Best idea yet 🙌. And if we get organized as a unit, it will work. Individually, no good will come of it.
Homeless have a get out of jail free card, it is the tax payers who the law will punish.
@@kornphlake79 This whole situation is insane.
“It shouldn’t be this hard”.... I agree.
I really hope he can sell his home and get outta that shit hole. I personally moved outta state 6 months ago and it was the best decision of my life.

Everyone the I know that was born and raised in Oregon do NOT agree with any of the shit that's been occurring for many many years. But as we are aware big areas carry bigger pull 🙄
The ethos of Portland: Coddle the criminals and tough noogies on everyone else.
Yes. And this is the case around the nation, really. Lawbreakers have all the rights, while the innocent are punished. What’s more is that if you have a job and money, *YOU* are held responsible, and it is *YOU* who will lose it all if you don’t play by their rules.
All the Democrat cities and states with illegals too
We've got to get proactive about this mess. Calling the cops does nothing. Complaining to city hall does nothing. The normal channels avaliable to law abiding citizens are closed. We've got to start taking matters into out own hands.
What’s needed to solve this problem is we need to start using our “well-regulated solutions” in order to get things back in check. I have no sympathy for the homeless.
I bet if something unfortunate happened to that trailer, it would be moved pretty quickly.
@@paulbrown4649 lots of ideas there. I like your line of thinking. Perhaps it’s time for the homeowners of Portland to band together in unified force and collectively set some solutions in motion.
Cops do nothing? Well that’s cause you elected people who changed how the laws are enforced. YOU caused this stop blaming cops
We had a homeless guy parking in front of our house for weeks and the city wouldn't do anything about it. I had asked the guy to leave before but decided to bring a baseball bat out and told him if I see him or his car in front of my house I'm going to beat the shit out of him and fuck his car up. He parks 2 blocks away now.
I never thought I could appreciate my HOA here in Summerlin Las Vegas as much as I do after watching this. You can’t even leave your trash cans out for a day after pickup without getting a notice. At first I thought it was annoying, but I’ll take it any day of the week over the nonsense y’all deal with in Portland.
Oh Yeah..... I'm sure notices, and fines will have a big effect on a guy who doesn't own anything other than a trailer....HOA? How scary!

shouldn’t be too hard to get tough with them, considering he’s a homeless drug addict alcoholic bum.
He most likely voted for the leaders that have abandoned him. Obviously not the most brightest person.
Going on TV doing bad advertising on his own sale. Lmao
Don't hold your breath. City will not do anything. Its up to ourselves to try to fix the problems. All city of Portland and Multnomah county commissioner let this get out of control a long time ago. Just look at downtown PDX.
You’re right. It’s time to start getting organized. Maybe form an organization of homeowners together and have a talk about some solutions we can come up with, and act as a unified force. Individually, we can do nothing, but corporately we may just have a chance at getting things back in check.
@@TVHouseHistorian "United" Slave of A$$holes.. sound familiar? It's a corporation, right? are you getting dividends?!?!?!?
GO USA!
Tow it to the front of Teddy Wheelers house. See how he likes it !!!
The mayor can’t do anything about this even if he wanted to. The mayor, as with every other leader on the Left coast, is beholden to their constituents - the very same people who advocate for coddling these filthy bums. Yes, the very same people who believe in the whole “eat the rich” mentality. A few years ago, “eat the rich” meant CEO’s and multi-billion dollar corporations. Today it means anyone who owns a home. The middle class are now considered the “oppressor,” and that is what the shadow powers who control little Ted Wheeler want. This is their way of getting the middle class to let go of homeownership permanently. The middle class has too much power, both individually and corporately, so it’s their goal to break us completely. The ultimate goal being, of course, that every single person in the United States (even the globe, really) becomes subject to the complete control of a central government.
"I don't do that.", while doing the tweeker jig.
Portland seems not to have leaders who can manage the city. It is very difficult to live here due to extreme home prices and rents but leaders in the city don’t seem to know how to manage the issues. People pay huge taxes but that money seems not to go for keeping the city safe and clean and reasonable. It’s a shame but how many people have to say they came here to live on the streets because there are no drug laws here? What is it going to take?
What it’s going to take is ordinary people organizing and acting as a unified force.
The voters want this. You may not like it but they enthusiastically voted for this.
If he doesn't want to live there, why does he think other people would buy his house to live there.
Bingo
Because there are lots of Marxist liberals coming here from all over the country who don’t mind living right across the street from a giant barrel of feces on wheels.
Nobody in their right mind would move to SE.
Yep, which is why all the Lefties live in there. That’s why I left SE and bought in Washington County. We still have our lefties out here, but at least we still have police and some leftover common sense. Bums don’t get the chance to pull the same crap out here they do in Multnomah Co.
Or NE! Hope he finds a buyer from a "worse" area. That is how we lucked out selling our NE Portland home this summer - the buyer was from Seattle.
Something needs to be done. I feel so bad for all the property owners.
I feel a lot worse for those who will never own a home because poor homeowners can't deal with them
Drug addict: Just because I’m drug doesn’t make me a drug addict!
Smoke crack one time and all of the sudden you're a crack head. 😂
@@AvidiaNirvana It’s never just the one time, is it?
It is baffling that the guy in a van has more rights than a tax-paying citizen. Everything wrong with America.
Make a plea to anyone to bring their truck and pay them 100 bucks to tow this thing anywhere else. You wont see it again.
Or pay a towing company. Worth the few hundred or whatever the cost is over selling your house.
That's a great idea. What's that bum going to do about it? But it'll probably cost more like $500.
I’d pay $10,000 as long as it meant ridding myself of that filth permanently.
Why don’t the citizens take care of the problem themselves?
Hook it up and drag it away bud. I called the city on an abandoned car once and it sat for days. I jumped in, put it in neutral and pushed in down the road. Problem solved.
Portland should tax and enforce the rules the the rv just like the home owner. Or the city officials should go get a new job.
Someone needs to sue the city for profit losses due to the impact of all this homelessness.
The City say "cannot respond to every concern". They respond each time they are due money from taxpayers.
Lighter fluid and matches can FIX that problem!
There's your first problem your relying on the city and the county. Never rely on the city or the county. Don't worry Blackrock will buy your house for a stupid inflated price and rent it out the next week
Search for City officer's houses address who passed the law then gave them to RV people, they can park their RV to City officers houses.
I think that that trailer should have an unfortunate accident.
The City & PBOT dont care!! Maybe if everyone moves
The Lefties won’t move. And they make up the majority. I think they’d be only too happy if all the people with common sense packed up and left town.
It’s not like this everywhere. Only in Portland and cities like it, for some reason.
Because cities and metropolitan areas are leftist meccas. High taxation provides services the homeless want. Those on the Right believe in personal responsibility and accountability, so bums don’t get away with near the crap they do in the city.
we’ll duh.
Those RVs are so poorly kept that anything at anytime could happen to them. Like fires. Or worse 💥. And investigators probably wouldn’t be able to successfully pinpoint what went wrong. those things are too dangerous to be kept on the streets.
Accidental fires could happen to the RV🤷♂️🤷♂️
Yeah and some of those houses don't look like they're in great shape either. Fires can really spread you know.
You probably just need a good fire to cleanse that
I don't know why the guy would want to leave his RV in a place with no privacy and the neighbors complaining. If he's waiting on a pension, why would he park it there? There needs to be designated lots where people can legally park and not clog up the neighborhood or affect the value of people's homes. Portland needs a hands-on city management team with real solutions. The city is sitting on millions of funds designated for the homeless- it's time to pay for solutions with that money.
Those lots exist but they’re sitting vacant according to recent news stories. No Rv person wants to go there because they can’t do drugs. And what’s the incentive to move if nobody is bothering you when you’ve picked someone’s home to squat in front of?
I thought they already proposed that idea and it would have been policed by the national guard but it was rejected.
lol. yeah, the national guard is gonna come in and help.
"I'm a veteran" So what? The vast majority of vets are out there handling their life with jobs and houses. It ain't a license to be a bum.
Exactly. As a combat vet myself, I have a hard time believing him. People get pensions from the VA with very little effort, they even have homeless outreach. Guy is a drug addict that's the real story.
Why not just get it towed out of there? Or call the police every day all hours of the day until they get it out of there. Where there is a will, there is a way.
wait till the bum wonders off , then hook a truck to it and drag it to the closest impound lot an drop it off.
Being that so many people are living in old RVs why doesn't Portland give them a designated space to park.
either get a truck and move it yourself or light it on fire in the middle of the night
You know your neighbor bubba the one never talk to . The one with the primer grey Dodge pickup with the bad muffler. And broken right side mirror.. invite him to come over drink some Bud light. And hook that trailer. And tow it to the center of Powell boulevard in the turning lane and leave it..
Oddly specific.
@@user-dw1ls3rp1l oh you must know bubba 😂
Move it yourself and sell it for scrap. People are such sheep.
Portland residents voted for this and deserve every bit of it.
Don't be glib.
No we did not.
There was a story about a home owner who made dozen of calls to no effect. So he spray painted swastikas and racial slurs on the RV and it was gone when he returned from work...
Thanks ,Ted Resign now !
He should sue the city!!
Bet the guy voted for the politicians who are responsible for this mess.
Go rent a pick up truck and hook up to it. Drag it out of there yourself bro.
did they ever give an update to this story?
the man may be claiming to be a vetern, not all are and found out they get more sympothy is they claim vetern status, he's obviously not a good "neighbor" and looks mental
I'm going to say this one time, because I'm tired of saying it. The city of Portland can post those green pieces of paper all they want, but but honestly there just littering. They to not fall within the regulations for sweep codes, meaning those green signs aren't valid. For the notice to be valid, it must include clearly defined boundaries of the area getting cleaned. When you leave a green piece of paper that has a date on it and a phone number on it, that does not clearly define the boundaries being swept. The city is also required to show up 24 hours prior to the sweep to inform residents.
These are people were talking about, not an RV. Can't we set up a special area for trailers to park how crazy is that
He bangs out random hours during the day not at night, during the day what about his electric sander during the
Does the city accept bribes?
This is the local government at work not supporting the very people who pay the taxes. Incredible.
They tow cars right away 😮
Ultimately if the government does nothing.... There will be vigilantes, or the city will hollow out, as all good citizens leave.
most cities would be after somebody to move that .... i can't have certain cars in my own driveway
It would be a shame if that piece of garbage trailer caught fire.
Ask the homeowner who he voted for.
Is this not what they wanted?
Accidentally burned by fireworks 😢
If the trailer burst into flames would the city be motivated to do something? Is the trailer licensed and insured? If not, the city should be able to tow and impound it. It's amazing what a couple of thugs will do for a hundred bucks.
Taxes what are those?
Hook on to it during the night and drag it across town.
Lawsuit?
I’d have to move him myself. I’d poor Kerosene near his RV and light it and each night i’d get closer and closer intil that POS RV went up in flames. And IF i got caught, according to how the jail/court system works now in PDX, i’d be out on bond in 3 days- i’d plead guilty and get 2 years probation. problem solved.
Wit's end. I'm out too. No choice.
BURN THE RV .
Exactly, that's what folks did in Detroit on Devils Night with drug houses. Plus, dude is stolen valor, he's no vet, he would have money to leave if that were true.
I am basically selling my house because the lady across the street is a drug dealer and a hoarder. She has about 10 dogs in her backyard and about 12 vehicles scattered along her driveway and along the street. The city will not help the neighborhood. We’ve tried and no one cares. I’m going to try to get out of the city. I’m in the same boat that I might not be able to sell my house or it’ll decrease my property value. I feel like suing the city for doing absolutely nothing.
They don't want to touch it because he's a veteran. the city should help him find a new safe spot for his RV
They have no idea who raises the most safety concern. No one answers 911.
I left PDX a yr ago, it’s just not safe….
Anyway to get a truck to haul this crap off when the losers aren't there?
This could just as easily be labeled "City fails to provide a safe parking space for a trailer"
It Portland designated a safe parking lot and offered to tow trailers and RVs if needed to the site, this wouldn't be an ongoing issue. The man living in that trailer doesn't want to be there any more than he is wanted there, so I can understand his response to questions.
Why don't you let this guy come camp out infant of your house?
They need to be up in mountains where there. Elbow room. Was in Salem when packy was born.
@@MH_6160by cutting off your nose to spite your face and shooting down all solutions, you effectively are letting them camp out in your front yard.
Incorrect, because currently the city sees it has they have provided a safe spot, which is why they are allowing it to be a burden to the neighbourhood, because that trailer choose to be their neighbour and the city approves, apparently.
Kick the chocks out from under it. It’ll move
needs to find a black market tow truck driver to move that rv. money talks.
Get a bloody truck and pull a sucker out and take it to the woods as close as you can get at least let it go
By going public about this, he has frustrated his own purpose, that of selling his house, since potential home buyers will see this report and look elsewhere, for reasons that he is looking elsewhere.
Learn the RV owners routine, pick when he is gone for the longest amount of time, then hitch up to the RV. Dump it elsewhere in the city. 😂
People with trucks should get together and tow a bunch of these RV's to the mayors yard!
Portland is a shining example of 'progressive' politics at work. What business would want to come to / stay in Portland?
Set it up on fire!
"that's a pretty nice trailer you have there. it would be a SHAME if anything happened to it!" the guy from new jersey who buys the house, and uncle vinnie is here to visit.
exactly. bet you o could pay a meth head to light that baby up for less than $50
Time for some italian lightning.
City refused to take it away? Then by Night come with a truck and tow ball and haul it away yourself and dump it in a city property...!
the guy wants to live in his trailer? No problem set it up in a licensed Trailer park , NOT on the streets...!
Be a terrible shame if the camper caught fire and melted into a pile of metal, plastic and rubber......... I do not condone such actions, but I understand.
Sell the house to the Vet living in the trailer. Problem solved.
Mayor, City Council, Prosecutor, all elected positions, and all made pledges to fix this issue if they won office. It appears we need to do better at the ballot box.
In west Beaverton where I grew up I remember I was playing at a park and I saw a homeless man just sitting alone next to a bus stop but not getting on one next thing I know there was 4 cop cars and 4 cops all walking up to him and asking why he’s around there and honestly I didn’t get it untill I realized this was a suburban area that had 5 parks in a neighborhood no person would br here unless they lived here or had kids and this guy was creeping watching each kid for no reason.
It's so bad, a SELLER is actually having to make an effort to sell a house out there.
Wow. I would want to move to. Actually, I do. Portland used to be so nice.
Twenty years ago that whole area there with Seattle and all those West Coast towns were in the news as the best cities to live in and very family friendly. Fast-forward to now, and the habits of Democrat voters have destroyed EVERYTHING.
Warning to any towns that have not be impacted by this: do not allow welfare in your town/city, if you do you will regret it.
It has nothing to do with welfare, it has to do with enabling drugs and out of control homelessness,@@diy5729. I do agree, this used to be a nice place to live, anywhere along the West Coast.

What is Portland Oregon known for historically?
Sailors and Shanghai Legends. In the 19th century, Portland rapidly grew into a bustling port town and earned the reputation of “one of the most dangerous port cities of the West Coast.” Hundreds of sailors passed through the port daily, visiting the many saloons, bordellos, gambling dens and boarding houses. Shanghai tunnels and chasing the dragon.
