Great breakdown of the play of the game! Much appreciated.
13:36 Could you PLEASE explain to us what this "standard" turn even IS? The setup that you have matches *no setup in the game!* >.< You got ONE JOB dude, it ain't rocket surgery!
@ 27:04 What do you mean reaction cards don't count as having played a card? o.o Do they get shuffled back into your deck when done? (NO!) So you played the card then!
@ 25:45 Again, *wrong!* Bosses require *six* cards to be in the discard pile before they are defeated. Even then, you must survive until the end of the round to win the game.
@ 13:50 This setup is wrong for a two-player set up. There should be two more G.I.JOE Character cards, still only two decks, but FOUR Characters who work in teams of two. You don't even mention how much the game changes based on the number of players. In a three player game, for example, you get four actions each. These differences are important if you're teaching someone to play the game.
im not sure if this has the fun, depth or replay of the deckbuilding game.that game kicks so much ass
As far as GI Joe games goes, the deck building game is better. I couldn't pass up the miniatures of this one though.
@ 24:16 o.o Beautimus. Now i have to wait while the "How to Play" guy looks up the meaning of the word "adjacent." Did you just NOT read the rules before making a *How to Play" guide??!! >.
I enjoy the game . Yes the deck builder is better but it happens. If you make it too much like the deck builder you just would play the deck builder.
17:44 Which is NOT what you're doing since both decks are the wrong size. Those are 10 card decks. They're supposed to be 20. A combination of a tandem JOE team, which is the *only* legal set up for a two player game!
@ 22:38 An' here you "forget" (or just never could be bothered to actually learn as that would have required, you know, *actual* effort.) that when you are told to drain energy and you don't have any that for each energy you couldn't pay, a player must discard a card instead.
15:38 So let's just see a show of hands for the number of my fellow gamers that are *still* struggling with that intellectually paralyzing concept: "six" o.o Jesus dude do you think you're talking to *Romper Room?* That shows a *stunning* amount of disdain and disrespect for just......people. Wow.
This game looks like crap. Its just point allocation on a generic board set. No episodic feel or art that made the series memorable. F-
The game is pretty generic and I speak about my distaste for some of the artwork in my unboxing. It is simple fun at the end of the day, but hopefully they can integrate some of their episodic nature of gameplay that they include in their GI Joe Deckbuilding game.
