Then we had to do flexibility tests in Elementary school and I was so far above everyone else I was shocked. Turns out being able to turn yourself into a pretzel is not normal. Who knew?
Took me 4 days to get my left splits by just pushing my legs to from a lounge but I still don't have my middle and right splits also I can almost do a full needle
I am dying at them doing it in jeans. Also their technique is soooo bad like square your hips please. They should've had a dancer who actually taught them correctly instead of just increasing their flexibility.
I agree! They could have really hurt themselves! I fully expected them to consult a dance or gymnastics instructor (the way they had Kristi Yamaguchi teach figure skating in that other recent video), but they didn't. This isn't the same as learning to juggle or solve a Rubik's Cube in a short amount of time, yo!
Or a PT so that they can look at their form and provide stretching techniques for them. I agree that some professional should have been overseeing them to make sure they're practicing safely
I remember one time at school, I was in a crowd of people and slid on a small bit of mud in a puddle and then slid into the splits. I don't think I'd be alive if I couldn't do them.
When I was 8 years old this girl in my class at school slipped into the splits during sports and she WAS NOT flexible at all and she was crying so much in pain, it was traumatic even for me and that's why I learned how to do the splits
Everyone is being harsh but i give these guys credit. Most buzzfeed people say the skipped days or "forgot" when they do challenges. These people were consistant and showed some improvement.

@@goldenb2395 for splits, what helped me was building up muscle and working out. The reason why is because I was activating the WRONG muscles and I strained myself. Some positions will be uncomfortable but if theres ever a pinch then STOP what you're doing.
HonesTLY that really bugged me, the stretches they were doing didn’t really help much for a split itself, should’ve done a split stretch with both legs and also a side as well

I’m a flexible 15 year old girl. But it is a difficult thing not something that can be learned in a day it took me a very long time. I’ve been dancing for 12 years so it is not easily accomplished. But anybody can do it if they really wanted to. I know a 13 year old boy who is way more flexible than I am. I think a lot of it has to to do with the age because the younger you are the more elasticity you have. Also some people are just more flexible. It’s not this superpower or anything. But I think people like showing it off because it is hard to do
they also probably could of gone farther if they did a warmup every time before stretching. another thing that I think would of helped is if they did more types of stretching
This would have been more motivational if they had done 1 month or 2 months, not 2 weeks....Who really can safely get their body ready to do full, correct, healthy splits in that amount of time? And in jeans? You can force yourself to do lots of things, but you can permanently mess yourself up at the same time. Hope Buzzfeed offers good worker's compensation if this is the way their "challenges" are going to be going. I'm happy for their progress and the positive things they took from this assignment. Please take care of your body, you will have to live in it for the rest of your life.
I have all my 3 splits and let me tell you it wasn’t easy! Took over 4 months to get my right and left and about 9 months to get my middle! So if it isnt going fast for you its ok, consistency is key❤️
I got all mine in 1 month, it's on the persons own amount of flexibility, my other friend on the other hand worden 2 years just to get her right splits.
Same but I regret not stretching my bad leg as much as my good leg before because I recently got my bad leg splits and I have a pretty good over split for my good leg
Payton Alpaugh how could they be injured? They were stretching their muscles, the worst thing that could happen is a pulled muscle. Obviously they aren’t going to push themselves so seriously that they injure themselves.
I pulled my hamstrings few years back when attempting a split and they still have not recovered...doctors don't know what to do besides telling me to slowly stretch it out
Kylie Crawford It's just most things were wrong which could lead to an injury which they may not feel in the moment but still they seemed clueless, stretching is very important but one wrong move can be tragic.
Also with a professional it would have taught them technique on the split and how to stretch because the main problem was the stretches were not correct stretches nor done correctly.
@@gracelikerain5039 if you want to get it fast, it's best to do it six days a week for at least 15 minutes. I do it 3 times a week since the year started and I'm slowly getting better. Now in quarantine I have more time so I do it more often
some tips from a somewhat flexible person -stretch everyday for 30 minutes and eventually you'll be able to do it -those bands are not at all necessary and don't do anything really -I like psychetruth's 12 minute split tutorial -then hold the splits 60-50-40-30-20-10 seconds -the before and after was extremely fake. Different legs being stretched (everyone has a more flexible leg) and hips were not at all square. It's super easy to fake the splits -if you stretch everyday it'll eventually happen
It depends on the activity being done. The splits can be a warm up, but that's the end goal in this video, and which they don't have yet, therefor, they need to stretch (warm up) for the splits before doing the actual splits
summer roses she sorta did it....But it’s amazing how far she went with jeggings ....But it’s more amazing that she’s an adult that hasn’t stretch much....I can do it with jeggings it’s harder though...So she basically did it...
Bull, she probably has experience. Notice how they cut her off "I want to get that flexibility back...". They needed her because they knew no one would be doing it in a week (even hers was crappy though).
what position do you stop at when you stretch? I mean do you just power through the pain or do you stop and stay in the position that's only somewhat painful?
Robertking1996 what did you do usually like warming up and what motions you usually because I really want to split and I got three good months right now
I got my split in the first week of me doing gymnastics I have no idea how but I think I just went for it and didn't care about the pain and just went down
Push into the stretch as far as you can. If you feel pain, figure out if it’s good pain or bad pain. For me, personally, I push until Flexing and relaxing my muscles no longer relieves the pain. As for warm ups, jumping jacks, energetic dancing, I like to do barre stuff to warm up, because I feel like that’s what is best for me.
as a figure skater and dancer, i honestly felt their pain. it took me like two weeks to break into the splits, hundreds of lunges, pipes, etc everyday. i'm so glad it's over.
@Edina Paljevic, since she’s not responding, and I’m a dancer, here are some tips from me. -train everyday, except maybe once possibly twice a week. But only after a while of practicing everyday. -always warm up before practicing with lunges, squats, and simple stretches. -always keep the leg in front straight. Always. -it should always hurt. If not, you aren’t stretching. -go as far as you can into your splits, hold it for one minute, do the other side. -keep your hips facing forward always. Very necessary Hope this helps!
every dancer, gymnast and cheerleader in the comments “oh sweetie no that’s just not possible.” But legit it takes months if not years of regular stretching
We're all triggered af at this it took me a month to get my splits and you just gave them 2 weeks and they weren't even stretching property their form sucked and just geez this ugh I'm really triggered
Really depends on your natural flexibility too. As a former dancer and martial artist, I used to have all 3 of mine but I watched black belts who trained for years who still could not do any or maybe just one.
Lindsey McCormack I learned my right splits in 2 weeks and my left in a month but I'm naturally flexible but the stretches they did weren't really good :/
The girl didn't really do the splits. She kinda leaned to her right side in theend but you're supposed to stay over the center of your body. And the guy probably should have tried middle splits because usually their easier for men.
I am I gymnast and I had been doing it for 3 years and only had my right leg splits fully down and could do it with my front foot on a 10 inch surface. So my coach gave us (me and my best friend) a challenge to see who could get all of their splits down first. So we took on the challenge. We left gym that Sunday ready to come back in the Friday to see who was closest. Turns out because of the competition we both managed to get fully down in all splits and even do oversplits on our bad legs. I’m just saying maybe they could have done better with a little competition thrown in
I've been working on this too with a 30 day challenge but when i tried at the 2 week point to do a split I tore my inner thigh muscles. so now I'm being patient and taking it a little slower. but it does feel really good to work on getting more flexible whether you can do a slit or not. nice job guys!
Brittany Nicole i get a lot of torn muscles (im a equestrian vaulter) and drinking water, warmth, rest abd sleep have worked really well for me. I have torn my right leg muscle obce and left twice
same I tried that a few years back, pulled my hamstrings and inner thigh, it still hurts sometimes now....really have to be careful doing stretches not to push too hard
oh geez i hope you don't have to go through that again! everyone I've talked to said rest and water and whatnot. its been a little over a month but i know muscles take a long time to heal and I've been still doing my yoga and workouts so id if thats helping or delaying the healing process. thanks for commenting!
Ikr? I've been stretching daily for 14 months and I've still got 7 inches to go. The fact that these people improved so much in two weeks is so discouraging!!
Some people are naturally more flexible than others. It also depends on how much you work out too (muscles stretch easier after a workout because they’re warmed up). That and how you stretch. Proper form makes the difference.
I always try to exercise before stretching, because I'm much less flexible otherwise and I've been following yoga and dance stretching videos for proper form (squaring my hips, etc.). But it is true that I was SUPER inflexible before I started stretching- I could barely reach past my knees! It's just difficult to hear them say that they believe that inflexible people could probably get their splits in 3-4 months when I've been trying for so much longer.
Morgan Sheehan before she did left leg splits which she probably couldn’t do before then she changed her leg to right leg splits and kinda did the splits look at 5:35 x
I did mine in two days but I was doing tryout week for a dance team so I was rushing it. But I got them mostly in a week. Regretted it the week after 😂
Jess cortez don’t do that. You can rip your muscles. That would hurt a LOT. Instead, push yourself to a point where the pain is there but bearable. Do it every day.
What I do for cheer is, go down as far as you can in your splits, and put your hands on your head and hold for at least 10 seconds. Your weight will push you down and its a bit painful but not extremely, and it also helps your balance. Practice your splits with your front leg on a raised surface as well and push your hips forward and let your hands touch your feet, aim for 30 seconds and do this everyday. Trust me it helps
As a dancer this pained me to watch. You need to stretch so much more in different positions to get your splits. Never push someone down in their splits too, you can break their hip or really injure them. Also you can’t judge the beginning and end with different splits because they’re all different. Also get on top of that knee oml.
Chelsea DIY’s splits stretch routine is great!!! I do it every day, since the beginning of 2018, and it works really well!!! So for all you people who want to get splits down, do those stretches everyday!!!!!!
I used to know how to do it but then I stopped for a while. I'm still trying and learning to stretch properly because it takes time. I'm getting closer ❤💃

as a past (rec) gymnast, former dancer of ten years, and current cheerleader of four years, their form is killing me they chills have gave them a month
I read through the comments and people keep saying that they’re dancers and they’re cringing at the bad form and stuff like that. It’s fine for you to say that but it kinda annoys me because I’ve been dancing for over 10 years now but I can’t touch my toes without bending me legs and i’m not flexible AT ALL. I will say this one more time YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE FLEXIBLE TO DANCE.
When I did ballet, I was probably the least flexible out of all the girls I danced with, but I still got roles and made the most of it with my footwork and musicality and artistry. Ballet isn’t all about being able to put your leg behind your head, you don’t have to be made of rubber to succeed.
Same here but you can still have good technique (ie no turning in) even if you aren't super flexible. With what style (eg tap) you don't need to be super flexible

Paigeythe Pigeon yeah her yt is itsmeyanii
Paigeythe Pigeon and thicc
She really is
The only split i do is the banana split.
Lol😂😂
The best comment 🙌
Whats that
I used to do with my friend
As someone with a Hypermobility disorder, when I was a child I thought everyone could move like me and my sister. Then we had to do flexibility tests in Elementary school and I was so far above everyone else I was shocked. Turns out being able to turn yourself into a pretzel is not normal. Who knew?
megglesmac I’m the same!!!
megglesmac not to be rude, but why is it a disorder?
Miss Estee I’m pretty sure that’s just what they call it 🤷♀️
me to!
@@missestee1450 because it's easier to dislocate a joint for people with hypermobility. Also, most of them have joint pains when they are older.
It took ME 2 MONTHS and they did it in 2 WEEKS
creds to those ppl
Rand Ibrahim it took me 2 months and 28 days
It took me 1,5 year lollll
Tube You were you un flexible or were you already flexible
Took me 4 days to get my left splits by just pushing my legs to from a lounge but I still don't have my middle and right splits also I can almost do a full needle
It took me 20 minutes lol
I am dying at them doing it in jeans. Also their technique is soooo bad like square your hips please. They should've had a dancer who actually taught them correctly instead of just increasing their flexibility.
I agree! They could have really hurt themselves! I fully expected them to consult a dance or gymnastics instructor (the way they had Kristi Yamaguchi teach figure skating in that other recent video), but they didn't. This isn't the same as learning to juggle or solve a Rubik's Cube in a short amount of time, yo!
I agree so much wowow
Why a dancer why not a gymnast or contortionist those people do more flexibility
Or a yoga instructor
Or a PT so that they can look at their form and provide stretching techniques for them. I agree that some professional should have been overseeing them to make sure they're practicing safely
Tip from a pro Yoga artist:
*NEVER* do the splits without warming up
Any other tips for splits?
1) Always do them wearing leggings or in something you can stretch in
2) Do them on a yoga mat, *NEVER* do it on the floor
3) Keep believing in yourself !
@@jeongbread1712 In Taekwondo we do splits on the floor
Wearing jeans while splitting? 😂
I go lower in jeans actually
JM MARTIN aint nobody gonna be splitting in the club in yoga pants
Believe me when I tell you that it is possible
Weird
JM MARTIN i did it actually
I remember one time at school, I was in a crowd of people and slid on a small bit of mud in a puddle and then slid into the splits.
I don't think I'd be alive if I couldn't do them.
Doll Ilinea Well done 😂
pot noodles that has happened to me it’s so embarrassing tho😂😂😂
When I was 8 years old this girl in my class at school slipped into the splits during sports and she WAS NOT flexible at all and she was crying so much in pain, it was traumatic even for me and that's why I learned how to do the splits
pot noodles i was at home a their was water on the group and i slid into my splits and i think i cried
wait you can do them
Everyone is being harsh but i give these guys credit. Most buzzfeed people say the skipped days or "forgot" when they do challenges. These people were consistant and showed some improvement.
Ok so as a dancer I cringed about a LOT of things but the worst thing was the non-squared hips
literally!!! Why is noone mentioning it 😂
What are squared hips? I want to learn to be flexible but not wreck myself in the process and everyone talks about squared hips
@@glompxme It's difficult to explain without an image, but if you want to learn how to be more flexible without hurting yourself go to these channels: Alivia d'Andrea, Anna McNulty and Auti Kamal.
Lady Yeah sorry for the late reply, but squaring your hips is when your hips and butt are facing forward.
Yea! It’s not called the splits unless your EVERYTHING is flat on the floor with square hips and that makes so much difference🤦🏻♀️ though I do fake splits all the time 👀
The sit and reach box gives me nightmares.

if you want to be very flexible and you give up easily, while your stretching and you feel pain say “no pain, no gain” over and over again and it will remind you that the pain is a good thing and it means you’re improving. if u have no pain then your not pushing yourself enough.
Depends on the type of pain. Bone pain can cause irreversible injuries.
What would you recommend to becoming flexible? This video seemed a bit staged.
@@goldenb2395 there are many videos on YT that tell u how to stretch, just look them up and take a look in the comments to see if it works
@@goldenb2395 for splits, what helped me was building up muscle and working out. The reason why is because I was activating the WRONG muscles and I strained myself. Once you work out, you'll be able to feel those muscles active correctly. Also stretch for the pull not the pinch. Some positions will be uncomfortable but if theres ever a pinch then STOP what you're doing.
I’m okay with pain, but feeling purely uncomfortable is torcher
they would've done better if they did an actual split stretch
Mia Auten where can i find those stretchs
Hajar Rais check out fiercelivy she has some really good stretching videos!:)
HonesTLY that really bugged me, the stretches they were doing didn’t really help much for a split itself, should’ve done a split stretch with both legs and also a side as well
Mia Auten So True! That really bothered me.
Uma Lindström thank u sooo much
But only 1/3 people actually made it and i feel like that girl knew how to do the splits since the begging
She probably did because her before and after we’re on different legs
Trinity Swan but the other girl Sarah used her opposite leg too
At the beginning she said her goal was to get her flexibility back which infers that she was able to do splits in the past
They need to warm up their muscles if they want to really stretch properly and it will hurts less anyway
5:39 she already knew how to do the spits because did anyone else notice she was using hot opposite leg that time?..🙄🙄😒😂😂
GUURRRRRRL legit
Ohhhh. I just noticed!!!
Yeah that's what I thought
Maybe she realised that her opposite leg ( the one she used the first time ) was her bad leg cause I used to try my splits in my right leg but couldn't do it but tried my left leg and did it in 3 or 4 days until now I haven't got my right and but I'm extremely close though
She probs realised that it was her bad leg
as a dancer and gymnast this is soo funny to watch
and please dont stretch in jeans
kyngwn ok dance mumba! I'm a dancer too but who cares! It's not funny it's nice to see that people accually try and to see that how far they went pff...your prob like those dance girls things that laughs when someone can't do it....well they can
Yep and my coach always says your not as far as you can go until both your legs are straight so they aren’t even stretching as far as they could x
cookie girl oh my god hahah i didnt mean for it to sound mean i just meant it was fun to watch sorry

Just Your Average Demigod: ikr
theyre so basic and annoying. like shut up youre not special
Excuse me I’m a flexible teenage boy, I will cut you
Maiva La
when you're lazy like me though, flexibility isn't possible.
But I think people like showing it off because it is hard to do
I was born naturally flexible but I'm not flexible enough to do the splits and I'm too lazy to do the splits lmao
cool
Omg same
I can do splits very easily, like just practicing two weeks too.
But I'm too lazy :(
Paigeythe Pigeon I’m not born naturally flexible but one day my splits were bad next day I got them and I’m the most flexible in my dance class
Same 😂
Paigeythe Pigeon I am naturally flexible and I can put my foot over my head😂
As a gymnast, cheerleader, and dancer, I recommend not doing splits in jeans lmao. They probably could’ve gone a lot farther if they weren’t in jeans.
they also probably could of gone farther if they did a warmup every time before stretching. another thing that I think would of helped is if they did more types of stretching
Ikr
This would have been more motivational if they had done 1 month or 2 months, not 2 weeks....Who really can safely get their body ready to do full, correct, healthy splits in that amount of time? And in jeans? You can force yourself to do lots of things, but you can permanently mess yourself up at the same time. Hope Buzzfeed offers good worker's compensation if this is the way their "challenges" are going to be going. I'm happy for their progress and the positive things they took from this assignment. Please take care of your body, you will have to live in it for the rest of your life.
Carolyn Segovia it’s fake she swapped her legs

yeah, I also thought the time was just not enough. I learned my splits in 1 month and my starting flexibility was waaaays better than theirs.

I need to get all 3 splits for varsity cheer. If I get them all and am good at cheer I can make varsity my freshman year
am i the only one that just has all of them naturally?haha i'm so annoying right
Same but I regret not stretching my bad leg as much as my good leg before because I recently got my bad leg splits and I have a pretty good over split for my good leg
Uma Lindström same!
These people should have had help from a professional, must things were very wrong and they could be seriously injured!!
Payton Alpaugh how could they be injured? They were stretching their muscles, the worst thing that could happen is a pulled muscle. Obviously they aren’t going to push themselves so seriously that they injure themselves.
I pulled my hamstrings few years back when attempting a split and they still have not recovered...doctors don't know what to do besides telling me to slowly stretch it out
joesr31 Then it’s probably a tear in the hamstring. But they are not going to push themselves to were they hurt themselves.
Kylie Crawford It's just most things were wrong which could lead to an injury which they may not feel in the moment but still they seemed clueless, stretching is very important but one wrong move can be tragic.
Also with a professional it would have taught them technique on the split and how to stretch because the main problem was the stretches were not correct stretches nor done correctly.
i stretched every day and it took me two months to get my splits...
I am really hopeless in flexibility. But I am determined. Do you have some guide?
How often?
윤채은 use anna mcnulty's splits video. her video helped me get my middle splits so i guess her splits video works as well
@@gracelikerain5039 if you want to get it fast, it's best to do it six days a week for at least 15 minutes. I do it 3 times a week since the year started and I'm slowly getting better. Now in quarantine I have more time so I do it more often

some tips from a somewhat flexible person
-stretch everyday for 30 minutes and eventually you'll be able to do it
-those bands are not at all necessary and don't do anything really
-I like psychetruth's 12 minute split tutorial
-then hold the splits 60-50-40-30-20-10 seconds
-the before and after was extremely fake. Different legs being stretched (everyone has a more flexible leg) and hips were not at all square. It's super easy to fake the splits
-if you stretch everyday it'll eventually happen
What do you mean by square ur hips?
NoodleHead14 make sure both hips are facing forwards, not to the side :)
Jane Burnham ooooh ok, thank you 😊
If you use bands it can help and other things that arent necessary can help too because everyone is different -.- so umm
It looks like they didn't warm-up beforehand I can feel my legs hurt watching this
Sameeee
Shimmy Stylinson same! Who TF stretches cold...
isn't stretching a warm up?
It depends on the activity being done. The splits can be a warm up, but that's the end goal in this video, and which they don't have yet, therefor, they need to stretch (warm up) for the splits before doing the actual splits
Slytherin's heir how do you warm up for a stretch?
And she did it in /jeans/. Cheers
She didn’t do it, her legs weren’t fully straight on the ground
summer roses she sorta did it....But it’s amazing how far she went with jeggings ....But it’s more amazing that she’s an adult that hasn’t stretch much....I can do it with jeggings it’s harder though...So she basically did it...
Bull, she probably has experience. Notice how they cut her off "I want to get that flexibility back...". They needed her because they knew no one would be doing it in a week (even hers was crappy though).

Me:whaaa?
When I became a dancer it took me 3 months of daily stretching for 2 hours a day doing all range of hip, thigh, ankle, pelvis motions.
what position do you stop at when you stretch?
*all dancers collectively cringe at the bad form and laugh at the fact they think they can do it in two weeks*
Marco Molinaro except that one of them DID get it in 2 weeks so all dancers apparently are morons then

Coming from a dancer, you don’t “learn” splits. You must work for them.
Keira Leigh whats your best tips!!! I want to work for them
@Edina Paljevic, since she’s not responding, and I’m a dancer, here are some tips from me.
Very necessary
Hope this helps!
Totally Not Gothic Peaches thank you so much for the tips!!!
every dancer, gymnast and cheerleader in the comments “oh sweetie no that’s just not possible.” But legit it takes months if not years of regular stretching
YUP
We are all TRIGGERED
MusicXS ikr I was like screaming at the screen like get on top of your hips!!!!
I've almost got my side split, but middle hurts so bad! I'm curious, you said middle splits are easier for men?

MIne took months and im a trained dancer. That would be hilarious but omg
I’m just saying maybe they could have done better with a little competition thrown in
Dancers where u at?
Maria Frost hereee
Hi👋🏼
🙋🏻♀️
Maria Frost here b!
nor here
I've been working on this too with a 30 day challenge but when i tried at the 2 week point to do a split I tore my inner thigh muscles. so now I'm being patient and taking it a little slower. but it does feel really good to work on getting more flexible whether you can do a slit or not. nice job guys!
@joesr31 yeah mine still hurts if i stretch it a little too far and that never use to bother me before i pulled it :/
Make sure you warm up before you stretch! Jumping jacks, running, things like that. Take it slow, you will reach your goal!
I’ve been trying to get my splits for 2 years with Ballet and stretching and only just did it. THIS GIRL DID IT IN 2 WEEKS.
SAME it has to be fake
Nope. It depends on your natural flexibility, I got mine in about a year but another girl got it in like 2-3 weeks
It's just difficult to hear them say that they believe that inflexible people could probably get their splits in 3-4 months when I've been trying for so much longer.
the jeans part really bothered me and who else is watching in 2019?
u cant really learn it. you just need to train until youre flexible enough
Matty Green yeah like you can’t just force yourself into like you have to be dedicated
You're right but they also have to learn how to properly stretch to get into a split without injuring themselves. :)
The last girl kicked flexibility in the butt 👊🏻
Morgan Sheehan she swapped her legs around
Amrisa Aujla wdym ? I’m confused
Morgan Sheehan before she did left leg splits which she probably couldn’t do before then she changed her leg to right leg splits and kinda did the splits look at 5:35 x
Amrisa Aujla oh okay

Same person different clothes bro
Cat person different legs bro
"I'm not that flexible at all!" (says the guy trying to stretch in skinny jeans)
Ive tried do it in 2 days, and I did, buuuut in the next day I couldn't move my legs anymore KKKKK it was hurting as hell
Jess cortez that’s probably not good to do it that fast😂😂
I did mine in two days but I was doing tryout week for a dance team so I was rushing it. But I got them mostly in a week. Regretted it the week after 😂
Kennedy Lawrence yeaaah lmaoo KKKK
Jess cortez don’t do that. You can rip your muscles. That would hurt a LOT. Instead, push yourself to a point where the pain is there but bearable. Do it every day.
The girl with the glasses and blonde hair is so adorable
Who tf stretches in jeans?
Imagine the nightmare if they rip!?
Fitness goal: slowly slip into a split mid conversation while maintaining eye contact
*can’t walk for the next month*
Possible if you're not an active person and you over-do it. Not being able to walk is an exaggeration, but there will definitely be pain...
Juicy Pear was joking but okayy
I know it was a joke... It's impossible to break your legs that much from stretching
As a dancer this pained me to watch. You need to stretch so much more in different positions to get your splits. Never push someone down in their splits too, you can break their hip or really injure them. Also you can’t judge the beginning and end with different splits because they’re all different. Also get on top of that knee oml.
Arianna Mahan
what all stretches would you recommend to help us become flexible enough to do the splits?
What are your recommendations?
Yes !! And square your dang hips!!!

*so 1 in 3 people can do the splits in these stretches*
Chelsea DIY’s splits stretch routine is great!!! I do it every day, since the beginning of 2018, and it works really well!!! So for all you people who want to get splits down, do those stretches everyday!!!!!!
I used to know how to do it but then I stopped for a while. I'm still trying and learning to stretch properly because it takes time. I'm getting closer ❤💃

lipstickngore same i could jump down in a split but now i cant get down all the way
lipstickngore Good for you. Keep trying!
as a past (rec) gymnast, former dancer of ten years, and current cheerleader of four years, their form is killing me they chills have gave them a month
Emily Dalziel i think they meant ballet dancers not regular dancers. No hate tho
Eva Marie Posoga i’m a ballet dancer, on pointe, and i’m not flexible at all 🤷♀️
Emily Dalziel I’ve been dancing for 10 years, because I am 10!
