do I think Phil is actually racist? No.
He hangs out and plays music with black people. I remember in 2014 when he was doing performances with living colour.
I don't think he is either. I think he was like you said just being taunted and just got fed up and gave them what they wanted.
Chad Phil > Virgin Rock Brigade
The kid rules...getcha pull
Probably jealous people calling him racist
So what do you guys think is Phil a Metal God or just plain racist and deserves to be cancelled? DISCLAIMER: I'm not asking here for Phil to be cancelled AT ALL just want to make that clear! Huge fan of Phil Anselmo and all his music
Rappers say things with the n-word with homophobic slurs and other extreme topics but they don’t get cancelled.
Phil, I think, made a mistake but I don’t think he really is racist
@@aaronmartinez5029 I totally agree there's plenty of other non white people that are racist as well
wrongs X 2 don't = right
All he was every trying to say was that he was proud of his culture and racial makeup. But if you happen to be white that is not acceptable and you will be always be deemed a racist. In this toxic anti- white climate it is something best left unsaid. His mistake was even talking about it, because if you are white it will always be twisted in you being called a racist
@@aaronmartinez5029 He is just proud of his race, but if you are white you can never express that

Subbed, my guy. Thanks for putting this up.
Just to letcha know… it’s Vapid Phase…..not Rapid Phase.
To anyone reading. Phils the most loving dude u never met. Questionable antics come from pain but the lad who shows up after wronging you to say "I'm sorry brother" is worth more than any of the jack shit idiots you're around. Don't be like me and dismiss a person like this. Part of being a man is acceptance. Anger makes you do stupid shit. Some angry people were just treated horribly. We've all said things we didn't mean when we were angry. Ignore the cover.. the interior is what matters.
I really really love and appreciate Phil but there's no excuse for using heroin .
Gotta agree with that
❤
❤on Phil side 🤣 love 💖❤

@@metpach ngl i almost did the same lol
What fall?? THE KID IS STILL THE MAN!!!
Fall ?? Mans still selling out areas ..
Watch what led up to his offensive remarks.
He was mocking people that called him a racist while on stage.
Context does matter. Was it stupid? Yes. I never said Phil was a genius lol. He gave those asshole exactly what they wanted.
Haters are going to hate this was a well-made video!❤️ You earned a subscriber
Except all the incorrect info from bad research...
LOL his middle is HORACE not hanson wtf?
Vinnie wouldn’t let him anywhere near his brothers funeral. That should tell you something about Phil
He never spoke to him again because of his hatred til he died also
All of a sudden he don’t understand why some peeps out there WON’T BACK HIM
When did he fall these drama videos get old
The fall of who ? He doing pretty well
What fall?? 🤣🤣🤟🏻🤟🏻 Well Down also means fall kinda.. 😂😂
12/08/2004 it should have been phil
i bet no one knows about the times on the tour bus with teen boys
How drunk must you be to throw the nosi salute in public (up in a stage no less) screaming white powder and thinking "nah it's gonna be fine" lol
He is a douche bag sure, but you got to admire his insolence. Total musical legend this guy is.
I used to scream white powder all the time when I used to do blow at nosi college of art 😂 you should probably learn to spell and look up the word context the next time you get up there on your high horse
@@dillinguuur79Oh no, it's grammar Hitla again!
Down was formed way before 2001 try like 1991
fall ??? do you have any idea how much pantera is getting per show lol. and i bet he is getting s bigger cut.
Phil didn't "go on to form DOWN and Superjoint Ritual"
Down formed in 1991 and released their first record in 1995.
Superjoint Ritual formed in 1993, but didn't release their first record until 2002.
PANTERA broke up in 2003, because of Phil's addiction and wanting to tour for SJR.
It was 1994.
Nola.
Stone the crow was in the soundtrack of the movie 'the crow'
Hi pepper 😂
@@ladychucklefuck I wore The Crow soundtrack out, Down was not on it, PANTERA was, with a cover song called The Badge. Nola was released in 95, though some of the songs were written 3-4 yrs earlier.
FALL. Yeah I don't think so..lmao
Phil is the fucking man!!!
🤘🥸🤘
Phil Anselmo: a perpetual cycle of being the jerk he really is and then trying to apologize his way out of it when he gets a bad reaction... which he then uses as a reset button to see how far he can push it by being a jerk again. Anybody can screw up and get misunderstood, but when you have to give somebody a dozen "resets" it's not that they're making mistakes anymore... it's that they're just doing a bad job covering up something that's there. They'll be at their worst the second they start feeling like they can get away with it again.
🙄
Exactly. A tiger never changes their stripes.
Complete non sense
@@integrity101 Says the racist...😆
@@OrochiGeese7
Only brain dead pathetic imbeciles with no critical thinking skills believe he is racist. 30 years of overwhelming evidence to the contrary doesn't magically disappear because some sheeple are too dumb to do 5 minutes of research.
Down has been around 1995
He’s shown us who he is time and time again. The people who overlook this simply don’t care because it doesn’t affect them.
I'm not white, and even I'm not offended. Your comment is a perfect example of why everyone is so fed up with "cancel culture" - you're not actually doing anything productive; you're just whining on the Internet. 🙄 I'm sure you'll respond by saying that I have "internalized racism".
Does it effect you that he said something sometime while under the influence?
Racism is not a crime. Having preferred group preferences is not a crime. Having an opinion is not a crime. Quoting facts and statistics is not a crime. We fought the wrong enemy in ww2. Kanye was right awhile ago.
There’s a lot of racism in metal and everyone gets a pass because they write good music. Don’t have an issue with this guy, I don’t see him as racist but more of a dumb ass that gets into controversy due to too many drugs at an early age
