On seals like the rear axle, I’ve always cleaned the seal and housing mating surface and applied a thin film of clear silicone, zero leaks after doing hundreds of them. Cheap insurance.
I'm just glad I finished restoring my ride before the BrandonFlation happened. I can only imagine what the prices for all these goodies will do in our current economy.
TBH, I wish I had seen this episode when I still had my '69 elCamino. I bought a CPP Stage 3 kit, it was cheaper than upgrading to disc brakes for the front. I'd probably still have him.(only car I ever owned that was male. If you know, you know)
This is what I hate about car shows like this. They say this car is a stroked 406. Well to get it to 406 CI it is bored not stroked. I think they just like the word stroked
That was always what made the Corvette different,it had real suspension, handling. It has always been what was neglected in the common affordable sports car.
@@PAKfromFYCB it helps a lot. Especially on ball joints where you can use the spring to help unseat the ball joints. Tie rods "usually” work, but I’ve had to tap the nut on top occasionally with it threaded about halfway.
🔥🔥 Attention !!!So can someone please tell me who won the drawling for 1970 mustang. I see that the deadline is up but still haven’t seen where the winner was posted?🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Do you know if there is a disk brakes conversion kit out there for a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew cab LS short 5.3 V8 LM7 vortex because it has drum brakes which i don't like at all.
Joe and Tommy are the perfect combination for this show. Keep this team together PowerNation!
They didn't, sadly.
The 70 Chevelle is definitely one of my favorite muscle cars of all time.
That made a lot more difference than I thought it might with the suspension. Wow.
Every description of a PowerNation video needs to have the date originally aired documented. Jus' sayin'.

A new steering box would have probably been a nice upgrade too!

They should’ve boxed the rear lower control arms
I really enjoyed the 1965 Chevelle 396 big block history lesson. I did not know that.
Thanks.
One of my Neighbors had a Car similar to this One When we Were Kids in Elementary School It was very Nice and had a Good Air Conditioning too
My favorite was the 66, I could have bought one for 800 when I was a teen. I lo balled for 600 and lost it.
Tommy is the man!!!
Wait what about the rear suspension bushings, they looked pretty shot in the video, not done yet, how about new rear control arms!!!
Its VERY Good to see you two!! Put up More Videos Please!
She's gotta be a happy car after all that lovin! Looks like a lot of fun to drive now, too.

Ya'll still had a decent factory setup. Try driving one with manual drum brakes and no powersteering.
Love the humor, Guys! 😂 (I need a sway bar...)

14:30 that sad moment in 2022 no M no big block for you

I did not see the 4 wheel disc brake apportioning valve.
Hi Rory,
It's called a proportioning valve at it was installed at the 11:14 mark.
No new rear suspension bushings?

So true!
Well obviously.... easily upgraded tho
With that "Closed Course" Suspension Test, you're blowing a "bit" of Black Smoke...
Engine Rebuild in order?... Hope so!
Or was it running real rich.
My 64 El Camino could use some of these upgrades... opgi always wants what's in my wallet...
i love the broke ass jimi hendrix
A 406 stoker motor that honestly was a bummer to hear after seeing the SS 454 badges
why have i been using a pickle fork all this time they didnt even ruin the rubber seals.
Yeah, right? My guess is all going to be replaced? The arms are stronger than the joint material?
I’ve never had a pickle fork not tear up the rubber boots. I always use the BFH with a couple swings and everything usually pops loose.
@@1slow5point0 thats what im saying, im tryin this route next time for sure. soon!

The tank is getting new tracks..😨

Didn't see the pumpkin being filled
Enjoyed!!!!!!!! 👍

You changed the idler arm but not the pitman arm, I'm sure if one's gone so is the other.😉
Blast from the past "spring helpers" you spun them in with a 1/2' drive. The car must have been sagging.....
A little sandblasting and black rattle can you could have really cleaned up those upper and lower control arms, 🤷♂️
What was that scream of pain @4:08 of this episode?
I will always take a mustang over a Chevy but cheveles have never looked bad
despite the economic crisis i still think this is a right time to start up an investment
I'm so happy for taking the bold step in working and investing $2000 with Mr Steven Hatzakis after a week I received $6468 to my bank
@6:13 new Bilstein ? 🤔🤔
Can I do the same thing on the suspension on a 1971 Challenger? What about changing the rear leaf springs?

Nice...👊🏻
I’d like to see more of that 4.3 v6 on engine power
Chill with the sound effects. Makes it feel like it was edited by a 10 year old.
Nice clone.
Too funny! Chubby guy in thumbnail photo with caption of "athletic" ;-)
Lol chevelle affordable
Chevelle is American muscle History 64-72 don't run up on a chevelle period u going to get some bad results

Back for more punishment?
Smokes like a feend. how about rings and a valve job..
