If the korek charm is going to be like that, then I really think they should bring back the dismantle mechanic making it easier to obtain resources such as scrap, or even craft parts from a weapon with mods on it but just make it a chance thing so its not guaranteed to never run out of parts in the game.
It takes a long time to collect scraps too, even though they are EVERYWHERE it’s like 3 here 5 there!! You’ll be spending hours trying to find scrap just to fix a weapon! If they want to charge scrap it should be way less 200 I think seems fair
It costs 6000+ to buy a purple lvl 9 weapon with 173 resistance that breaks stupid fast because of the constant fighting in order to level up my quite already hard to level combat skill, so what? Am I to avoid fights all together now? cuz I ain't fucking wasting 666 for a repair, that's for sure!
I think the 666 metal scraps for the charm should change to the amount of how much durability a weapon lost. For example, if you lost 176 durability on a weapon it would cost 176 scrap to put on the charm. Edit: Apparently on twitter, the lead designer of the game, Tymon was not aware of the korek charm nerf and said that he’ll try to restore it and make it more meaningful.
@@NewVergas Probably, who knows? For right now I think I’ll be better off farming artifact weapons rather than repairing them with the charm since the crafting recipes already have a high demand for scrap.
Personally I think craft masters should have the ability to repair weapons, maybe have the korek be the more expensive, on-the-go repair, and have the craft masters be cheaper since they're out of the way
I don’t like how they’re changing the game to be such a massive grind, it’s you vs the environment. Who doesn’t want something to be overpowered. Every max level item takes 100 uncommon trophies to upgrade which is really annoying, especially when you’re a high level player and fighting virals at lvl 8 and 9 they don’t just die in 1 or 2 hits. I can agree with the night time changes, I like that being more difficult in chases but they should also address the almost grid-like spawns of howlers, they’re basically everywhere. If you only run on the roof tops that doesn’t matter. I’d also like to see a much higher cap on resources for the player if you’re going to make some items like the boomslang be 300+ and now that charm be 600+ once you craft that charm, you might as well start scrounging for more scraps straight away but good luck not using your weapon while you do that.
well for me i have around 8600 scrabs since i uh used a lil bit of hacking and all that 😅so i dont gotta worry about that but tbh i agree that kinda sucks
If people don’t like OP stuff in a game, then they just shouldn’t use it. Simple as that, you have this thing called free-will after all. You can choose what to use and what not to use. Just because you don’t want to use something doesn’t mean others don’t. Some games are just meant to be played for fun. If some people want to use OP stuff for fun after a long hard day of work then they should be able to do that, if others want to use the balanced weapons for a more immersive experience, then nothing is stopping them from doing that. Enough of this complaining to the devs to nerf everything. I swear it’s like people take games way too seriously because they have no life or real world accomplishments outside of video games or something. Just cool it and play how you want to play and let others play how they want to play.
Agreed, I'm sad about how the grappling hooks been nerfed, not gonna be as fun, and the Korek charm. I never have enough scrap for any of the dev items, so the charm was a blessing
I know man preach! That wad the beauty of dying light, NOTHING IS SUPPOSED TO MAKE SENSE!!. I mean shit the grappling hook in DL1 was WAAAAAAY more OP and not a single soul cried over it
The korek charm change sucks massively, there's just not enough scraps in the world to repair your weapon constantly. I just feel like I'm hitting zombies with a pillow in the endgame no matter how high power the weapon is. Also the grappling hook nerf kinda sucks as well but hey, that one has a legitimate reason.
this and also, durability mod is actually not working and you can only have 999 scraps. That means massive scrap farm and honestly.. who even has time for that?
"Improved biter behavior during the day. The enemy latches onto the players more frequently which diversifies enemy encounters,." I feel like that's a step in the wrong direction until they add a counter to it like in the first game! It's infuriating getting caught in a grapple animation - QTE loop! Also I'd love to see camouflaging return!
This mechanic is the worst. It’s not even difficult, it just completely kills the vibe of a nice fight, being auto grabbed every damn second. And now it happens more frequently wtf…
i think this rly makes the game worse (atleast for me) because i had so much fun climbing with the hook and it wasnt even that op because you could run out of stamina idk why they changed the hook but i hope they reverse it
I understand the change with the grappling hook you couldn't even spam it like that in the first game. but the change to the charm is gonna be annoying, Kiwi's right they should either lower the cost or increase the amount we can carry. I think the first game allowed us to carry over a thousand metal scraps but idk the max
They need to make the material inventory infinite (or practically infinite) like the first game. I was caught off guard the first time I couldn't pick up scrap because it was full.
i guess the Korek charm nerf is result of community crying that it was way too OP and those who think its too OP and needs to be removed: u know u dont have to use it, and its not like u come a cross of it by playing the game normally. also DL2 is mainly single player game with COOP as an option. its not like there is PvP that would be ruined by it
Is an option you can use people complain OP those idiots shouldn't use it problem solved but give options to the players TECHLAND for every thing you do right you do something much worst, I wish it was on ps2 atleast then you'll know you'll have a complete game an you'll keep all the cheats and loops you find honestly fk TECHLAND
And also like you said, its completely optional, and it actually is tedious to get to, so the people complaining about it took the time put of their day to get it, like it shouldn't have been nerfed people are way to soft.
Most of the additions and changes this update brings us are great. More difficult chases, more banshees and chargers and most importantly more gore. However, the changes to the korek charm are unneeded, so are the changes to the hook. Though I can get over the hook, it won't take long to adapt to it again.
The grappling hook change really sucks. Now it has become a niche tool you use on a handful of jumping puzzles instead of using it to traverse the open world. They basically killed it...
Being able to scale buildings using the grappling hook was a bit OP but it looks like they nerfed the amount it pulls you up. Why not just add a delay to the hook so we can still utulize the boost.
The hook was not OP at all, where are you people getting at that it was OP. If anything it sucks. So what's the incentive to max it out if it's just as trash as level 1 at level 3? The hook change is definitely not wanted by majority of players and if you think it needed a nerf you're a moron.
@@Lbdataz1469 huff that copium harder, it was OP you climb radio towers instantly if you have enough stamina, I also don't like the change but calling it no OP is dumb.
Heavily dislike the charm changes I feel that should have stayed the same tbh it wasn't broken unless they plan to add super op weapons into the game later on
Elliot Owen I agree as well, but you can collect scraps a little bit more easily by going to bed twice and going to the merchant & mechanic and buying the scraps (if you have money) and repeat the process. Takes a while but you’ll get to 999 in like 15min if your consistent.
I wasn't sure if I regretted getting DL2 after Elden Ring came out cause I was really enjoying myself for the first 60+ hours I've played and with a single update I can now confidently say I deeply regret getting DL2 I don't wanna play a single player game where the devs nerf the parts that make it a fun solo experience I already spend enough scrap and money trying to upgrade items and weapon mods and now I have to go out of my way to spend even more of both just to keep a weapon's durability high if they're gonna keep this change then they should let players have dupe and upgrade glitches no one wants to spend all their time scrounging for scrap and money that's what makes the game boring and a chore and no one wants that for a dying light game of all games
and anybody who wants to be able to grind already had tons of items and upgrades to grind for. grinding in games (imo) is only fun when its optional, if i constantly have to search every body, bag, chest, trash can for scraps just to repair my weapon from almost broke after a single fight then its just not fun.
the korek charm changes sucked a little, but other than that- very glad that they are starting to get through the issues that people have been talking about.
It sucks ALOT, they legit said the korek charm wouldn't be changed- Bunch of liars, not to mention the korek charm is my most reliable item EVER. This sucks bro- Hope they decide to revert it back before the First Story DLC. And now thinking about it people arent going to be able to use it due to how much scraps it costs.
They literally just took fun out of the game. The Korek charm allowed you to go on fun slaughtering sprees after you beat the main quest but now you have to grind just to repair your weapon. the grappling is now shitty. No one ever used it the it was properly intended besides the mission on vnc tower. I am very disappointed
The korek change is so stupid. There goes the one thing I was excited for getting to keep cool weapons and the ultimate edition with the machete and hatchet looked awesome. So much for looking forward to keeping and using them.
@@jamierafferty8373 well they don't unless you are using exploit/glitch by duplicating in co op like I see so many youtubers do even seen someone do it on a twitch stream and when chat pulled them up on it and clipped it they stopped streaming.
That grappling hook change broke my heart, it was what allowed me to actually move through some of these buildings with ease. I didn't even know of the charm either, but the fact it was nerfed is a damn shame. I hope they continue to update ^_^
This patch is good. But like - WTF is THIS? Grapple Hook revert sucks. Korek Charm got nerfed even the Lead Game Designer Tymom said that his Korek Charm will not be changed? Well that was a lie. But I hope Techland is thinking about reverting the grapple hook
This is like No Mans Sky devs removing a bug that objectively made their game less annoying, such as that one bug from the abyss that made it so you can mine everything with a normal mining laser
I understand that they probably did that with the weapon charm so that people couldn't infinitely keep their.durabilty up but they should lower that number to 300 or 200 instead of maybe only 100
I at least hope they make it reasonably out of the way to get like either let us get more scrap easier or tone down that cost, 600 scrap for anything is a bit ridiculous, even for just 1 full weapon repair like if it was 600 scrap for literal infinite durability, then ok that's understandable. But it isnt, we'd have to get 600 every single time we want to repair our fav weapon fuuuuuck that im already spending hours farming for trophies im not farming for so much scrap only to lose it immediately
@@itsClaptrap I find this nerf very dumb. You basically have to be near completion of the game to even get the charm. You also can just buy scrap and go to sleep and do that process again, so whats the point of having a limit. A change shouldn’t have been done. If they really had an issue with it they should’ve not just kept it in the game or had the craft masters just build you that same weapon or to even repair it.
I agree with the cap... If they are going to put a heavy price to keep a weapon, then increase storage. This is a game, not a job/cellular game; I & most players have a personal life, family, job, or school. I'll miss the hook climb but understandable
I agree I use the charm a lot as well as the broom now it makes it a lot of fun! I dont have 500hrs to dedicate to a game! I have a personal life and a career lol just let us have fun
I don’t speedrun and are still annoyed at the grappling hook nerf as some glitches prevented me from doing windmills correctly so thats the only way i could do them
From the dying light 2 discord a few minutes ago "@everyone Hey! We hear you - you love the korek charm, and you want to keep using it, so in the upcoming patches we will make some tweaks to the charm which will make it more usable for the player. Stay Awesome and keep the feedback coming!"
Not sure why they do those nerfs. Is really having fun in singleplayer game that bad ? They should focus on repairing game and adding new things rather than " nerfing " anything.
Waiting for the day techland adds an input to visually check your biomarker, you know, the one they spent time to animate so it actually ticks down as your immunity goes down, but you can rarely ever actually see the screen of. I really just wanna start a new save and not have my big ass immunity wheel at the top, or rely entirely on sound cues that could be easy to not hear or phase out while focused on doing something else
I absolutely hate what they’ve done to my beloved Grappling Hook. I recorded a let’s play of this game and for like 7 episodes straight I was gushing over how amazing the grappling hook was. Now it’s just… terrible. It doesn’t help that the first game’s grapple hook is absolutely busted, yet they didn’t touch that one, Yet they felt the need to touch the second game’s version and ruin it. Since I don’t believe they are going to revert it back to its glory state, can someone make a mod so it works the way it did before the update? I would greatly appreciate that.
@@literallyvergil1686 My point still stands that the first game’s grappling hook shouldn’t be better than the second. Intended to be busted or not it’s unfair when something that makes the game better and more fun gets reduced to something minuscule.
@@SnivyGAbsol the second game grapple was intended to have you swing around and keep momentum not climb building these have very different uses and i dont think it made the game fun, a better option would be to allow player to climb the grapple like a rope satisfying both sides
@@literallyvergil1686 No, a grapple hook's purpose is to climb tall structures that are normally hard to reach. Aided by the fact that the game lets you upgrade it to pull you in the direction you face once you let go. The grapple hook in this game is a rope launcher as stated by Frank. Something that launches a rope to a high surface to climb it. It was used by the nightrunners to attempt to climb the VNC tower. Key word, "CLIMB". Meaning scale buildings. I get that the alternative purpose was to swing around but that's not it's ONLY use. How you don't understand how a grapple hook is meant to be and how you didn't find it fun is beyond me.
@@SnivyGAbsol i think you didn't read half of my comment, i said the original way of spamming the grapple hook to climb wasn't fun so i suggest actually CLIMBING the rope like an actual grappling hook it would be slower but more realistic and less glitchy looking
Grappling hook in the first game is way more fun, it used to glitch on me and not take any stamina so I could endless use it around the map making for hours of fun good ol times
@@nurnur-ek8mf ehhh, idk tbh, I did utilise it, but when I limited myself to actually having to use my brain to chain parkour moves, I was having way more fun
The grappling hook is meant to maintain momentum and lets you take corners smoothly. I've enjoyed it more than the DL1 hook, since that one interrupts the flow of parkour.
They also changed the roll animation (tap sprint button while you're crouching) it used to scuffed looking rolling animation but now it's a shorter version of dive vault
actually.. it really doesn't make sense... i mean... your a superhuman with SUPER strength... and you can barely pull yourself up with the grappling hook now... hell aiden should be able to jump to the top of these buildings like he does jumping up the missile silo shaft if you chose that ending... the grapple hook being so good is what made it fun after you got tired of the tedious parkour stuff...
Patch notes: store.steampowered.com/news/app/534380/view/3108052301081436540 Big changes! How we feeing? I'm glad they addressed many of the issues we've been complaining about, but they also patched out some really fun stuff.
I've also noticed that the biters have better path finding A.I in this, DL1 when they were on a roof or ledge and noticed you they would just come straight at you (as a mindless infected would) but here they will walk back along a ledge to get to a ramp to walk down to you 🙄 first noticed this in the mission to get the GRE key from Dylan
I think the grapple hook and charm nerf was a stupid thing to. Those two things got me through many tough spots and near deaths. Also R.I.P speed runners.
@@Jalter-kun yeah I understand if it was a pvp game but it's literally a story game that people play to enjoy so I don't see the big deal why it has to be nerfed
@@mariobadia4553 they're not gonna change it back, because it wasn't working as intended in general since release.. they're going with the momentum side of things so you can pull up once and you start to drop. You can still lung forward which is still really fun when fighting etc
This is shit. The grappling hook didn’t need any change, you couldn’t just fly, you needed to catch a point, and if you didn’t half way up, you’d fall to death anyways. There is literally no reason to upgrade the grappling hook anymore because of this. The pull feature only worked if you were looking up. That was the only way it could save a person running parkour if they misjudged a jump a bit. Now, jump the gap and miss? By the time you’ve used your grappling hook, you’re already half way back to the bottom. Can’t believe I wasted so much time hoping this PoS would improve.
Why give something and then take it away? If I paid for the game then I should be able to play it like I want to, not be downgraded. Absolutely ridiculous. I've played these games since the first Dead Island but I have no plans to finish this one. Sad
for real shit blows I was hyped to play after a big update but now i could careless, the grappling hook was so fun being able to move so quickly, like why nerf movement in a parkour game??
Very necessary and welcome changes. I have wanted to start my 2nd playthrough for a while now, but have been waiting for quality of life changes like these which greatly improve the experience.
@@literallyvergil1686 Grappling hook in the first game was even more op than in the second game, think about it, once you unlock it in the first game, parkour becomes meaningless cause of the grappling hook ability to climb most things. In the second game, the grappling hook is still op but it's now a tool that can mix in with parkour, meaning better versatility and better movement, both combined (parkour and grappling hook) can lead to a great result. Look at some games with grappling such as Apex and Titanfall, the grappling hook in those games created fun movement, tell me? Did they do anything with the grappling hook? Nope, not at all, it was used as intended, to create the most funnest and best movements. Now it ain't it chief, the most fundamental part of DL2 is now ruined, why nerf movement? Fuck the crying DL community, I don't care if it's OP or not, Techland has ruined a fun part of the game but what I can say is: this new update is good (except grappling hook and korek charm, like what the fuck?!).
@@anotherdaytobetheslayer7091 the most fundamental part of the game is parkour, the grappling hook function as intended it still pulls you forward it only stops from spamming it to slowly climb building it use is the same as before which is keeping momentum
@@literallyvergil1686 But of course, it's not just the parkour as the main, mixing in with the grappling hook gave more fun, I can see your point, some people would use it to the point, parkour becomes meaningless again just like in the first game. But being creative with the grappling hook (before the nerf), mixing with parkour is hella fun. For me, I prefer to combine both the parkour and grappling hook, because swinging shit like spiderman is fucking fun and doing some cool movements are what I enjoy a lot. Still, I'm pissed about this nerf, and in my opinion, a nerf to movement in general.
Do you mean what it once was in the first game cause as much as I loved the first game grapple hook i feel like being able to use it like a rope and use it in the parkour is a lot better
@@generalgungus yeah the grappling hook in dying light 1 is a gods work compared to dl2 but I don’t have anything against this one and I honestly agree with you 100% lol, it’s so much more satisfying and good for parkour.
Like mechanically and just realistically dl2’s is just better and also a lot more fun, but dl1’s grappling hook was by far the best functionally as it was far more efficient
I was already done playing dying light 2 after doing both play throughs and getting platinum don’t think I’ll return anytime soon especially with these changes as I loved the grappling hook and the charm definitely don’t agree with that change but happy with the more banshees and charges but I don’t remember what a charger looks like and also it’s not enough for me to get back in the game
The nerf to the grapple hook is just a bad change imo it was fun to zip around buildings and it didn't even break the flow of the game. I hope they revert the change
When did anyone complain about the grappling hooks or the charm I think we r more worried about fixing the coop play fixing the Easter eggs so everyone can get one instead of having to join people games
I knew Techland will start to improve the game almost instantly. It's the same as it was with the first game. All changes apart from Korek are justified. Even that one's okay, though the price should be reduced imo, OR dismantling mechanic from the first game should return. Or even both. Other than that, I can already see the game will improve from decent to perfect over time. Now, I would really love to see a complete HUD off option and Nightmare difficulty - one of my favorite combinations from the first game. And I can almost guarantee Techland will deliver at some point in the future. Looking at CDPR and EA with their recent failures - Techland have the fastest response time of all important studios
I don't think many people remember DL1 too much since inception or were around. Guys and gals, Techland is amazing and they will continue to listen and then some!! Anyone remember 10 in 12? The PTSD from other developers will calm with these guys!
With the new update, i am now relying more on the long range bow/crossbow and its ammo, and less on the melee weapons (which i keep only for close quarters if i fail to finish off some enemies). Changes made to Korek charm sucks big time
The old grappling hook was very fun to use but I definitely agree, it was pretty absurd how you could skip past whole sections of parkour because you just scaled the entire building with a grappling hook
Hope you feel better soon, mate. Definitely some lingering throat stuff from the sounds of it. Chug that Vitamin C. The changes to Korek are very confusing, whereas everything else seems to be a big improvement. I'm hearing reports that Volatiles will be active during lvl 1 chases on Hard and possibly Normal. Cannot confirm.
Has anyone experienced the two vendors inside the Bazaar stopping the sale of any mats including scrap? This upsets me even more now because you cant even spam farm scrap, only the crasfmaster still sells mats there. They need to drop the repair rate by at the very least half or ima start dupping shit
im glad i see you mention about the howler indicators/icons and the compass still cant be hidden, i really hope they add a choice to remove that as part of the hud or something, it is so immersion breaking all those icons popping at all sides you look at, really really unnecessary to hold our hands like that, please i want to remove that. I also still dont understand why there isn't simply a toggle key shortcut option to hide the entire HUD, i want to remove that compass as well for clean screenshots for example or just chill and appreciate the game without any visual hud clutter. ( yes im aware there is mods for that in case someone points, but the hassle and pain is huge, dont want to restart the game and change files and folders for each time i feel like doing a change in the hud...) That said i feel this patch improves and fixes a lot of things in a good way, grapple hook and korek charm aside...
So with this update: they nerfed the Korek (the only reliable repair in the game), they nerfed the grappling hook, they took away the respawning drops (the sunken drops were the only way to get high tier gear), they took away the chance of getting easter egg stuff like the broom or the Ka Doom shotgun (understandable, but still annoying) and they made chases more annoying but not harder. Meanwhile most of the game breaking bugs are still in the game, at the very least they fixed some performance issues. Way to go Techland!
you can now bring/store materials more than 999 so the issues with 999 backpack and storage is secretly patched and they did not put it on the patch notes
They also made it so that airdrops, GRE key accessible bunkers (don’t know what they’re called - the portable cabins on feet) and the loot from the infected nighttime bosses don’t respawn.
i had an issue where near the garrison i was trying to climb a windmill and every time i tried Aiden would either stop going up on those things you have to wait for or he would go to jump to the next one and he would hit an invisible wall or something
The change to the grapple hook makes no sense, in the first game you could grapple to the roof of most buildings instantly and that was not considered OP but in this one it is? And I don't understand why they don't allow you to repair weapons on the go easily. That was a change that made no sense considering the first game you could repair weapons between three and six times at any point as well and that doesn't make it op because it usually happened during combat and left you open for damage evening it out. Why must we continue to make games harder and stray further from the original? This was my most favorite zombie game but I kind of feel like they're taking a step backwards in it with some of these "nerfs". Now they're not even sure they're adding New game Plus saying they are "seriously thinking about it" when the clear answer is it needs it. If they don't add New game Plus I may not go back to it because I hate restarting a character after hours of grinding to get my main one maxed out. Techland better do the right thing with the game from here on.
Idk about you guys but I have way more fun blowing zombies heads off with the shotgun…it’s so overpowered, nothing else in the game really compares to it and nothing else comes even close to as fun as using it
They are making the game such a grunt process when they have such a huge sandbox to play I mean it’s practically infinite, they should take notes from elden ring
So are they gonna fix the issue where you can't keep claiming pre order and deluxe edition weapons after the timer is done? Because I feel like making the charm such an unfair amount of scraps shouldn't have even been an issue
Love the living hell out of this game but for those of us that are playing on hard scrap isnt easy to get Imao. The whole point of the korek was to keep your badass weapons permanently. Puts a huge damper on things tbh almost makes it not worth palying after the story
So this is only for PC versions? Unlocked paraglider through a co-op session before my own story, blueprint upgrade for it was available & did it, but by the time my story Unlocked it; neither the paraglider was maxed nor the blueprint upgrade available in shop again & stuck with Level1 glider
You can still go straight up with the grappling hook, use the hook, wall run up and look straight into the sky and use grappling hook again. Rinse and repeat. It’s not infinite but stamina usage is really low and IMO way better than spamming the hook ;-).
Easy fix to the grapple hook I havnt checked if it still works tho 1. Grapple 2. Let go 3. Wall run quickly after letting go 4. Grapple again 5. Repeat
Thanks for this information. I won’t update my game until I finish it. It is hard for me to climb some buildings and I can do it with the grappling hook so I wouldn’t like to change that. Also the Korek charm has saved me a ton of times. I was eager to upgrade to fix many bugs that I still have but with these changes I prefer to wait until later.
I feel like people don't realize the grapple hook mechanic of throwing and then climbing the rope... You can still scale some great heights just takes a bit more time.

Good thing i already had a ps5 then.
I was scared there for a second LOL
Yeah i knew it already
Btw they nerfed the thing for weapon so the damage is reduced from 100% at max lvl to 50% at max lvl
@@TiberiousGreene I think it should depend on the rarity of the weapon and whether or not you have mods attached
@@Gallant_Tuba_Knight Nope. FUCK that

I think the 666 metal scraps for the charm should change to the amount of how much durability a weapon lost. For example, if you lost 176 durability on a weapon it would cost 176 scrap to put on the charm.
Edit: Apparently on twitter, the lead designer of the game, Tymon was not aware of the korek charm nerf and said that he’ll try to restore it and make it more meaningful.
that's actually a really interesting idea!
This comment makes me think the people at techland think with their asses and wait for us to give the actually good ideas

@@NewVergas Probably, who knows? For right now I think I’ll be better off farming artifact weapons rather than repairing them with the charm since the crafting recipes already have a high demand for scrap.
good idea actually or even have it cost 1.25x whatever durability it will repair, up to a cap of like 500 or smt
Personally I think craft masters should have the ability to repair weapons, maybe have the korek be the more expensive, on-the-go repair, and have the craft masters be cheaper since they're out of the way
Something the developers might add in another patch
@@rosalyndt85 hopefully, though I feel it's odd it wasn't there out the gate

Takes 2 hits to the normal infected and 3 to vitals if your damage is atleast 480, not that bad

They are grappling way too much now. Yesterday I got chain grappled by 5 zombies thinking they were khabib
This mechanic is the worst. It’s not even difficult, it just completely kills the vibe of a nice fight, being auto grabbed every damn second. And now it happens more frequently wtf…
the grapple hook should be reverted to how it was, and the korek charm aswell. thats my personal opinion

i guess the Korek charm nerf is result of community crying that it was way too OP
and those who think its too OP and needs to be removed: u know u dont have to use it, and its not like u come a cross of it by playing the game normally. also DL2 is mainly single player game with COOP as an option. its not like there is PvP that would be ruined by it
Is an option you can use people complain OP those idiots shouldn't use it problem solved but give options to the players TECHLAND for every thing you do right you do something much worst, I wish it was on ps2 atleast then you'll know you'll have a complete game an you'll keep all the cheats and loops you find honestly fk TECHLAND
Nah the hook was way too OP man you litterally didnt have to do any parkour. This will make it more fun i feel after you get used to it.

I would greatly appreciate that.
the first game grappling hook was intended to be busted this wasn't, it wasn't exactly difficult to use and was easy to break challenges
@@literallyvergil1686 My point still stands that the first game’s grappling hook shouldn’t be better than the second. Intended to be busted or not it’s unfair when something that makes the game better and more fun gets reduced to something minuscule.

Look at some games with grappling such as Apex and Titanfall, the grappling hook in those games created fun movement, tell me? Did they do anything with the grappling hook? The changes to Korek are very confusing, whereas everything else seems to be a big improvement. I'm hearing reports that Volatiles will be active during lvl 1 chases on Hard and possibly Normal. Cannot confirm.
They need a dismantle ability so we can gain easier scraps. Finding and buying scraps are stupid in this game unlike the first one.
The limit for scrap is not 999 anymore, you can carry more scrap and other resources now. But i dont know how much.
THEYVE RUINED THE GAME
Yeah i don’t like how the charm now costs lots scraps but happy about the new improvements just not the charm changing
To this moment Flashlight don't show up as turned on for the others in COOP
Idk about you guys but I have way more fun blowing zombies heads off with the shotgun…it’s so overpowered, nothing else in the game really compares to it and nothing else comes even close to as fun as using it
They are making the game such a grunt process when they have such a huge sandbox to play I mean it’s practically infinite, they should take notes from elden ring
One question and I’m off to playing this great game did they fix the audio problem where the npc suddenly stops speaking and skips the subtitles?
I love how they say the charm is working like it should and then they're like nah go screw get wrecked.
So are they gonna fix the issue where you can't keep claiming pre order and deluxe edition weapons after the timer is done? Because I feel like making the charm such an unfair amount of scraps shouldn't have even been an issue
I didn't know about the grappling hook strategy. I just didn't use it because I thought it was dog shit and I guess it is now.
Love the living hell out of this game but for those of us that are playing on hard scrap isnt easy to get Imao. The whole point of the korek was to keep your badass weapons permanently. Puts a huge damper on things tbh almost makes it not worth palying after the story
Im gonna dupe a lot of scraps now. Trash update.
They said they're gonna adjust the Korek charm but no word on the Grappling Hook. I can't get myself to play this update.
I would really like to know who complained about the grappling hook, cause I’m going to beat them with a phone book
Easy fix to the grapple hook
I havnt checked if it still works tho
1. Grapple
2. Let go
3. Wall run quickly after letting go
4. Grapple again
5. Repeat
How did u get the broom what's that?? How the hello did u fly with that stick thats sick
