Cosmograph the goat 🗣️
Despite how scary her transformation is, Behemonth is just like a dorky big sister who will do anything to protect her “family”. It makes sense that she’s not really super aggressive.
Her boss fight is really aggressive though. Difficult but fun without bullshit mechanics like mother whale or mirror container, it really feels like you're a matador taming a raging beast - and the music adds so much flavor to it.
I hate those rocks @@FrizFroz
This song is SO GOOD, god.
About the question, it depends. Some of these boss battle songs are voiced, and some are instrumental in the actual game. This one (if I remember correctly) is just instrumental on the 1st phase of the boss, and it changes in the 2nd. But some others are voiced all the way through.
Behemoth best girl.
true
We Linkin Park now.
I just notice the lyrics but
"DESTRUCTION!"
"Yeah you lost tho."
Like bro, she's already dead like twice, give her a break 😭
She's got the Power of Friendship with Levi so she can't die, which I thought was illegal for villains but I guess not.
What makes it more exciting is that ingame the lyrics only show on the second part of the fight making it even more energetic as the boss changes the form completely
Cosmograph would randomly drop the sickest nu metal song straight from the 2000s
For this Boss, the first phase plays the instrumental version of the song but modified. They added more riffs and guitar to enhance the song so you enjoy it just as much without the vocals, leaving no gaps.
In the 2nd phase the song plays with the lyrics (2nd phase starts at 2:37 in your video) "Like a wrecking storm, oh yeah"
Regarding the voice tone not being "angry enough", it might be intentional, considering the boss' personality. She gives an impression of a golden retriever that is taught to fight
There's more thrill of battle and excitement about new last-ditch abilities than strong malice
I highly recommend "Ready to Go" and "Boogie Night" for the next Nikke songs
Ready to go -breaker- to be specific since the ready to go OST is just instrumentals
Isn't it "lucky Night" if it's the Coin Rush event theme you're thinking of?
@@grinexrift ready to go on cosmo's channel has both versions in one song which works good.
@@Smothtiger
Nope.
If you haven't found out yet level nine released an entire album with new music for the bond stories, outpost encounters, event stories, etc.
Basically more music for tomfoolery with the nikkes
Finally! We all waiting for.❤
Next will be 'Ready To Go' theme pls
Seconded~
both versions of course!
The amount of times I've replayed this song is too damned high.
7:40 wrecking storm in particular has a purely instrumental version that is actually different from what would be just the instrumental of the song for the really short first phase. The lyrics kick in when phase 2 starts, straight to the chorus
As people have been asking, Ready to Go should be next. The version in Cosmograph's channel is the best, its almost like a "boss theme", it has two versions, the normal version by Nien and the remix by Cosmo. It kinda is the theme of one of the main characters now, but most people don't even know it yet.
That cut to black followed by the words "SUCCESSION" plastered on the screen just as the beat drops was so 🔥🔥🔥
+1 on those recommending Ready to Go next. That is the absolute peak of Nien&Cosmo rivalry
Musical spoiler
When the stakes are high, Nien pulls out insane drums, and Cosmo pulls out DnB :D
0:41 We also feel this bro.😂
7:29 Yes they include the lyrics in the game while everything is happening. And in this case for Wrecking Storm (Behemoth boss) it plays the instrumental version during Phase 1 and the Lyrical version during Phase 2
Its not like this for every boss, some bosses have their whole theme play without phases, (Ultra, Harvester, Afterglow,) Etc.
and the only one that's different from the UA-cam upload and in game, is We're Never giving up (Crystal Chamber Boss) .
The in game version is different compared to the UA-cam upload.
Wait, i didnt even notice? Whats the difference
@johtajavaltsu4471 Phase 1 and mid section of phase 2 for Crystal chamber
@@T29hotrod now that i think about it, i think youre onto smt.
Thanks, i didnt even notice
Wait...Crystal Chamber has a second phase?
@@nicz7694 yea?
Behemoth really got a Sonic Frontiers boss theme
That's what I think lmao. Cosmograph would randomly drop the sickest Sonic OST from the 2000s
Felt like I was listening to old school Linkin Park rather than something from anything Sonic but I get you.
For me this ost really 'hits' damn good like how the boss is crashing us in the second phase of the fight. And i like how Cosmograph really throwing random genre ost banger like how behemoth constantly throwing the boulder.
in-game usually we have full lyrics version playing for boss fights. the only exception is Anomaly Boss battle with Indivillia, originally there're 2 music for each phase, one is Headless Angel (which is licensed music, you can't react sadly) and final phase is Absolute Maker by Cosmograph because she's the boss for 1,5th Anniversary event. for now, what we have to fight her in Anomaly Encounter mode is only Absolute Maker, phase one is the instrumental ver. and the final is full lyrics ver.
Yes, basically they keep lyrics within game.
Thanks for the video! Nice to see how you pick details and express your feelings to music!
Please review "Shattered"! It has AKA's vocals and Pernelle's lyrics.
The song opens with a dialed down instrumental 20-30sec part before transforming into what you listened to. As this is a specific boss battle theme, it's not like the chapter battle themes that have 3-4 different versions at times. Bit ironic that's the art they used for the release, but the "quiet" start is when Behemoth is in her giant bulldozer form. Then as she transforms into a giant charging raging bull and headbutts the screen, the song fully engages for the remainder of the fight. It honestly all feels very kinetic, which may be a reason people seemed to like this fight.
Honestly, with the whole boulder slinging and lightning storm stuff going on with that track, I'm looking forward to the next time this fight is featured in raids.
I can't believe you finally did this song! Finally the legend is back! Woooho!
Our evil Goth waifu really shredded in this one. Cosmo delivers yet again.
love the clarification of word nu metal, shud be in your format kinda fits
It's a standard thing now! I started adding them about a week ago because people mentioned not knowing some of the lingo i use, but i just wasn't thinking about it till they said so. You'll see it more going forward 💪
Considering Behemoth design this definitely fits her.
Requesting Dirty Backyard as usual! Also, I liked the informative popups. Sometimes I'm vaguely aware of what something music-related is but having a definition on screen while it's relevant is very helpful.
Another great analysis and reaction, as always. As mentioned in other comments, definitely reminds me of Linkin Park and some hip-hop songs of 2005-2010. That was nostalgic. And nice. In any case, would like to recommend Werehog Battle Theme from Sonic Unleashed.
I've played sonic unleashed and know the theme but good pick 👀
So the lyrics of the heretic is basicly they saying how they will kick the player ass, this one is pretty aggressive and a love it.
What grabs my attention the most in this song is the vocalist. His voice here almost feels feminine at the latter part but still aggressive, and in a metal track? It doesn’t feel out of place if you know the context of Nikke’s main story. The same vocalist also was featured in one of NieN’s songs but outside of Nikke.
nien never misses
Also Nien's "Outbreak" is kinda overlooked with Wrecking Storm and Ready to Go stealing the show, but it is imo one of the best Nien's solo works in Nikke overall
It's not Nikke, but I'd love to see you reaction to the PGR animation, Epilogue of the Eulogy. A fantastic short film for the event that just hit Global.
The goat never disappoint!
Glad i could hear this here finally. I was to busy focused on the boss that i completely phased out the music.
6:14 🗿
Welp, I just found my new workout music
HELL YES, FINALLY
It's a shame the official vid doesn't include the Phase 1 section, where the vocals area instead had another guitar. Definitely a solid vibe, and made the introduction of the vocals in Phase 2 feel that much more hyped.
Kill The Lord and Boogie Night next, please :)
(Ready Go - Breaker) for sure for the next one.

FINALLY!
I highly highly recommend Ready to go or Beauty full shot next
Man
i want to see your reaction to "Ready to go - Breaker" theme
Damn editor notes? Your channel seems to be evolving! But I am only watching your nikke reactions to be fair...
Ready to go or Outbreak is next🔥🔥🔥
try The Interceptor or "Tempest" Storm Bringer nikke ost.
Day 5 of asking for a reaction to "Scardi" and "Old Tales :: Shattered".
Great reaction! Would love to see you react to this ZZZ song next:
