I must have been 6 or 7 when I played this. Watching this playthrough, it's all coming back to me like it was yesterday. I don't think I ever got past the rocket ship part.
I really enjoyed this game. The future level was really tough but i want to play it again to see if i can make it past now. The music is the best part of the game
The game is really strange in that unless you've read the story in the manual, the Tiny Toons seem to be vindictive bastards. If you just play the game without knowing the story it appears that Buster is entering the movies just for the Hell of it and screwing over whatever version of Montana happens to be in them. The reason given for this in the game is that they're "bad movies". So what? Just don't watch them. The game fails to mention that Buster has been cast as the villain in each of the movies (which is explained in the manual) and he was changing the endings.
I remember when I was really young playing this over at my aunts house I tried to steal the game along whit her gameboy but I got caught aaaah the memories
I thought I was the only one who hated it, I tried like 20 times to go through that narrow passageway and go straight to the next level but meh, never go from there 😭😭😒
Just watching this now and yeah, man that part was rough. Person playin' clearly put in the time! Think it was the mix of knowing when you were supposed to jump, if it was a big or little jump, and if you needed to move during it as a breakable wall section needed to be lined up near perfectly. Any mistake there and boof, try again.
US version's Future stage is longer than the Japanese version, one extra section was added, and the robot enemies that throw their head don't exist in the Japanese version, instead more mouse like enemies are all through it. Not to mention the US version has a continue limit of 2, while the Japanese version has unlimited, and the US version is considered harder.
In the Samurai Saga level, when Max called himself Kabuki Max I decided to look up Kabuki out of curiosity and discovered this: Kabuki is a classical form of Japanese dance-drama. Kabuki theatre is known for its heavily-stylized performances, the often-glamorous costumes worn by performers, and for the elaborate kumadori make-up worn by some of its performers. XD
It is ridiculous, as i was a pretty good player back in the 90s and played far more difficult games than TTA2, but because of these seemingly easy jumps i was never able to beat his game. The only time i ever laid away a gameboy game without finishing it.
Loved this game as a kid. I completed it many times, even though I had to resort to trial and error for the second set of 4 doors on the monster level because I never figured out how to tell which way to go. Does anyone know what the rule is?
Dunno if someone answered, Only thing I could tell is the pictures beforehand.Only Hamptons moved and he was the last picture so the last door. as for the second set.... I see no real difference, so trial and error might be the right choice. Or it could be the number of times they open their mouths.
TFoster2211 I think it's to do with the amount of times they move their mouths. If they move their mouths twice, then three times, then four, then you go through the first door as they missed it out.
19:30 -19:48 THESE jumps.... THES ffffff.... jumps. It looks soooo easy in retrospective. I played this game so many times and could play it without losing a single life... just to come to THIS point and lose all my lifes at this situation. I passed this point about 3-4 times and even beat the boss, but i could NEVER finish the game, because i spent 99% of my time on this cursed jump.
Never beat this one - could never get past the final stage. Preferred the variety of the first game really and more balanced difficulty. Still fun games for the gameboy.
@@Bloodreign1 I hope Konami gives us a compilation of their Tiny Toon Adventures games for modern consoles in 2023, The way they did for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with the Cowabunga Collection. Stephen Frost, The head of Digital Eclipse, has expressed interest in such a project.
I have beat this game and I think that the future level should have been level 4 cause the future level is harder than the monster level in my opinion.
Roman Bellic I've had this on the gameboy since I was a kid. Could never beat it then and can only beat it now with cheat codes. It's just no fun playing something that is there to make you rage! Especially since this had no save points.

WOW never seen the end of it! I could never finish it!! I think I got up to the future and that was it :D
One of my favourite games of all time. So much fun through all movies and mini games. I managed to finish it back in the day. Great game!
To be honest, this game demands a lot of a 7 year kid with a 2.6 inch screen to play this game on.

Interesting

Rumor has it Montana Max secretly owns all I-Max theaters in the United States
This game is challenging enough on the normal mode. You did it on hard. Great job!
17:09 I’m only here for this Lol the music is so catchy ;-;
I wish Monty was a celebrity, famous director and talk show guest! All thanks to Buster, it never happened. 😒
This game is released in 1993 along with Animaniacs (TV series), Mortal Kombat II, Yoshi's Safari, Super Mario All-Stars and others.
I Find it a bit funny that you mention Yohis Safari as highlight from 1993, one of the best video games year ever..
Times flies really fast. When I was 14 years old I used to play it many times to beat, when I was bored.
Not as challenging as "Babs' Big Break" in terms of difficulty. But still fun.
this game is alot of more difficult as the first part
Took me forever to make that jump in the rocket. Thankfully you get save states on the analogue pocket
I only realized now that you picked up carrots and not ice cream cones lmao
It's a sequel to Tiny Toon Adventures: Babs' Big Break.
I absolutely hated the future level.
p6mkq I hate the future level it’s too hard to beat
I hated that, the Halloween level too
@@jalaraswift5796 Sadly, I have never managed to beat it.
I thought I was the only one who hated it, I tried like 20 times to go through that narrow passageway and go straight to the next level but meh, never go from there 😭😭😒
It is just me or it a game boy port of busters bust loses
Played it thousand times but never beat the rocket-ride 😅😅
Same, It was so frustrating and it still is today 😭😭
Neither did I.
I beat it a few years back and that one stood out to me as the big difficulty spike in the game lol

this brings back memories 💜 I used to have this.
The rocket section in Megaman X5 is easier for me that this damn future rocket section. Not kidding.
The music during the future level is kinda catchy.
This game was way too difficult for a kid, and the tight camera just makes it worse. But hey, I loved those characters so I still played it.
I played this game so often I'd constantly kill my batteries

The first gb game I've ever played.
Based on Montana Max’s portrait, how did you know to go into door #3?
The amount of eyes movements.
Just here for the music xD 2:59
This was not Monster level. It was just a Castlevania level. Point up that Konami.
I can't get past the Future movie, but that Monster Level looks pretty cool.
mee too, i always died in the future movie
friedchicken1981 great game
always died in the rocket section lol 😭😂
I actually like the Future level’s background music
My childhood game
Horror movie stage reminds me of Adventures in the Magic Kingdom (NES) Music - Ghost House.
best music ever !!!!!!!!!!
I love this game!!!
I never beat Max in the final stage, it was such a difficult boss fight.
Buster Bunny got now a new ability.
In the Samurai Saga level, when Max called himself Kabuki Max I decided to look up Kabuki out of curiosity and discovered this:

XD
Ok and? Was that it?
This kind of reminds me of Buster Busts loose. I don't think these really came out from where I am.
Both GB Tiny Toons games came out worldwide. The 3rd one, Wacky Sports Challenge, also saw worldwide release.
19:38 this part kills me every time 😵

Why does Monty look so cute in all of his attires in this game? 😳❤

State of the art for game boy, konami at his best
Tried it several times, but i never made it past the future level.
bart ioi I never made it past the future level ether I tried so many time but lost each time😩
Same ☝️😭
The main character is the bad guy this time
I kinda feel bad for Montana Max, he just wanted to be a movie star, Buster was the asshole
Agreed with you there!
Awesome! :D
I like this, can I download it as a MP4 for offline watching, please?
the boss kid is nelson munch
So, according to this game, Monty is the Tiny Toons/Acme Acres equivalent to Jeremy of CinemaSins
Awesome playthrough Amy rose
This song remember my childhood 😁
Good game!
Konami blessed the shit out of all the Tiny Toon games on Snes & Game Boy
Good job!

19:40 I always got stuck in that section ☝🏼😭
I'm not sure if I ever played this game...
If yes, it was OVER 20 YEARS ago... 😅
It was pretty hard game. Off course worth of playing. Old school - pain in the ass games. In my opinion it is the second hardest after Mega Man.
Never beat this one - could never get past the final stage. Preferred the variety of the first game really and more balanced difficulty. Still fun games for the gameboy.
I remembered thet I finished the game with game boy pocket
No Brakes Games should re-make this game along with 'Cartoon Workshop'.
NO! KONAMI did the originals, therefore they should DO the remakes!
Konami has abandoned home console gaming and now only produces for mobile. So their role would be limited to licensing the remakes.
@@Seth62392 Konami seems interested in the home market once more, seems they know money exists to be made in it.
