So picture this. The year was 1987, and I was 11 years old, watching MTV. It was the first time I saw George Michael. He was playing his guitar in his super slim-fit jeans. He wore his leather jacket and was doing all kinds of sexy moves. He had on sunglasses, and his hair was perfection. But the one thing that really drew me in and caught my attention was his beard. I had never seen anything like it. It was perfect!
From that moment, I knew I would someday rock the George Michael designer stubble from that moment. Fast forward a few more years, and here we are today. I'm doing a grooming tutorial to show you some of men's biggest mistakes when rocking short stubble beards.
    Biggest short stubble beard blunders
Going too short is the biggest mistake that I see. It's the difference between a 5 o'clock shadow and a 10-day stubble. There's a big difference between 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, and 5 mm. 5 mm is the max for a short stubble beard. For it to look its best, make sure you're using a great tool that has the flexibility to give you what you're looking for. The only tool I use and what I recommend is the Brio 2.0. 10-day stubble is scientifically proven to be the most attractive beard length, with studies from thousands of women.
The next mistake is not fading and blending your beard into your sideburns. You look stupid when there's a distinct line between your beard and your hair. I recommend going over your hair to maintain that specific length.
Not detailing the boundaries properly is a mistake I see many guys making. Overly carving or shaping the beard too thin will make you look like a douche. Also, don't let it grow up your face or down your neck; you will look like a savage. Learn to define the boundaries properly, which I demonstrate. I also demonstrate how to shave correctly underneath your chin. The proper boundary will frame your face and make your beard look the best it can be, and a proper shaving of the jaw doesn't make it look weak.
Another mistake is neglecting the crook of your nose, leaving long hair.
Failing to edge is another issue. Edge along your lip and make sure that your hair isn't growing down into your lip which is another huge mistake. Nobody wants a kiss with a mouthful of fuzz. Edge around your ear to ensure that you keep it clean and tidy in between haircuts.
Regarding the soul patch, clean up stray, straggler hairs. Give it a bit of a diamond dimension or triangle. It will draw the eye down to help strengthen your chin.

    1. Going too short (shoot for 5 mm)
    2. Not blending your beard and your side burns
    3. No proper boundaries
    4. wrong carving underneath the chin
    5. Curving lines, no sharp angles

Nice summary! And speaking of “Facial Hair…”
If you’re a dude (and you’re able to grow a beard - Lol), and you want to start attracting women to no end - grow a heavy stubble.
If you’re used to shaving your beard every day, just let it grow for 10 days, and see what happens.
I bet you’ll start getting some compliments, because women see this as a sign of maturity, masculinity, and not to mention - dominance.
And you know how most women feel about dominant men!
      Anyway, that’s my two cents.

Cause I gotta have faith! I'm loving the Brio. Have had it now for a few months now and it's still fully charged pretty much for the quick grooming I do every week or so. Havent charged it yet and you can feel it's powerful. Took a while to find the mm length with different guards and micro adjustments than what I had before. Would definitely recommend.

Without a shadow of doubt the original stud look. And let's not forget that voice and his songs 🤗

I have a stubble beard from many years since I find it looks better than totally shaved but better than a full beard, which I only let grow once ten years ago. My stubble beard is probably shorter than yours maybe just 3 millimeters but lately I’m starting to grow beard again but I’m not sure about that. My chin and mustaches are good full looking but my jaws and chick they still look sparse and thin to me, not necessarily patchy. So my question, let my beard grow a couple of more weeks is going to make my beard fuller or it will looks still sparse or even worst than now?

Now aged 30, he has a decent 'operator style' beard. I know some people or particular races will experience minimum growth their entire life, but I guess it's not always linear or predictable. Hey guys, Alpha has mentioned a beard brush before in his videos. Does this help growing out your beard, even if it is 5-6mm or less? Or is brushes only for longer more full beard? :)
I feel like it could help growing out more beard, in terms of stimulating blood flow etc.

It definitely is useful when trying to grow a longer beard because during the growing stages the hair will Sapp all the oils and may cause itching and dry skin. (beard oils are useful too).
The blood flow thing might help even with shorter beards and you should be able to "train" your beard into growing a certain direction the same you can do with the hair on your scalp.
The derma roller the other guy was talking about is a step further and needles your face. It is used usually on the scalp but some people found it works well on beards too, particularly along with some medication, but I never tried it.
Mpmd talks about it iirc, and there's a big channel all about beards that you might find useful, beard brand iirc, not sure rn.

While beards are great. I am kinda digging not having one. Because it seems every single guy now has one. Plus I still have a baby face. So I look 10yrs younger not having a beard. And I was growing a beard before it was normal. We should change both our haircut and facial hair. At least every 10yrs. Hair is no different than clothes. You got to change it as you age
