I bought the Brio Blackout last April and recently purchased the zero blade ! Trust me guys , zero tug and pull , hands down best trimmer I’ve ever used and it charges super fast !! Love it.
Alpha's advices are on spot. If you guys still don't know how to start - grow whatever and go to good local barber shop. Ask a barber for a trendy cut. Also if the sallon is professional they often sell beard lotions, oils and whatever you need to maintain it well.

9) don't freak out over grey hairs

As a guy with a larger beard, I can’t say enough about getting it trimmed by a barber every 2 weeks. Always looks good and properly shaped.
I’ve had the Brio (and my beard) for a couple of years now. This thing is a GAMECHANGER. Trimming my heard is a breeze and it lasts aaaages on just a single charge. Use it to manscape my chest too. Hands down the best trimmer on the market. You da man, Alpha!
Before buying a trimmer I couldn't even think of how handy it can be. I used to shave with a safety razor, but the whole body/beard grooming process required an hour, I had terrible razor burns and looked like a kid with all facial hair shaved off. Good thing I bought a Philips which makes the grooming process much easier plus you can shape your beard however you want and in 5-10 minutes you get a cool stubble like that one in between shaves which gives you a slightly rough look.
Thanks for the tips btw, I will try growing and trimming mustache that way. For now looks like an interesting thing to try since I would always trim it off.

I've been dying my beard for a while. I use a slightly lighter color than what I had. So I end up with a touch of gray that looks natural. It works for me.

Bought this a few years ago when I first found AlphaM, still works great and the battery last a long time. Wish I had known about the zero part before.

@@logangraves4700 I think so, I use it all the time and haven't had any issues. Can't say that all the stuff Alpha endorses is good, but I'm happy with quality of the Brio. I used to have a $20 wahl and hated it until it finally broke.

I have very blonde hair; on my head and on my face. My 'beard' also grows slow and patchy. One time, I didn't shave for 6 months and you could barely tell I had any facial hair. I was also taking beard growth supplements at the time. Now, my head hair grows insanely fast (1 inch a month) and I have long hair at the moment. I'd love to have a beard but I just have to work with what I got. Girls do love my long hair though; I'm always getting compliments from senoritas, so that's nice.
Is it necessary to take beard growth supplements for beard buddy it's been 3 months since I trimmed my beard but I get only patchy beard, no hairs on chin area it's basically like Wolverine 😂 curly facial hairs 🙂. I don't know what should I do.
@@Himricks take foam minoxidil and use it on your face ... don’t use the liquid minoxidi as that can cause you to develop allergic reactions ... foam minoxidi will fill in your beard in 1 year or less

switched to shave the face with a razor-knife a few weeks ago, have to say: one of the best decisions i made in terms of shaving.
Once you have enough practice to not end in a total bloodbath, the results on shaving are amazing
First thing noticed, much less burn on the skin and the beard grows more evenly, also my neck-skin looks more vital
yes it takes more time, but shaving became a ritual for me now (especially with the soap and all that stuff), a ritual that i don't want to miss anymore

I got my brio and it’s very good 👍🏼 cuts close to skin and doesn’t irritate
Something that has helped me prevent redness and irritation is using aloe vera gel to shave. It goes on clear so it also helps me see the edges better. I like having a stubble look since I have thin facial hair with some patches. I also trim the thicker parts of my beard a bit shorter than the thinner parts. It helps to even out the appearance.
I thought my beard was patchy then i just let it grow a bit more and thick lovely beard
Bare in mind I did take a visit to the barber every month to get it cleaned up without taking any length off so it looked better before it fully filled in
@@Kuro_uk I’ve grown out a full beard too, I grew it for a year if I remember correctly. It definitely hid the patches but I just wasn’t a huge fan of it. It was fun for a while but I just prefer the short beard look.
I shaved 5 weeks of facial hair a few days before this video 🙃 I kept the mustache tho. It looked like it’ll be a full on beard but right now it’s thin and it grew at a different pace. Next time I’ll trim it 👍🏽

I had my beard for a long time even when I was out of high school but lately I had notice a bald spot not growing around my chin I searched it and it’s alopecia barbae. It’s just very tiny but I thought that was weird.

What size of the brio clippers do you use on your beard? I swear I saw a video in the past going over it but for the life of me can't find it.
What sucks about my beard isn't that it's thin at all. It's that I have black very light blonde and strawberry red (irish blood) so it comes in jet black in some blades but lighter color in others and it looks patchy.
