agree with all of the other comments, everything you guys do is incredible. Just a bit of info talking about buying seals etc over the counter in ep10. Way back in the '70s as a young teacher at Rockhampton High School, Qld I was part of a year long plus restoration of a WW2 DUKW, largely assisted by some wonderful people from the then Rockhampton Railway Workshops.
This project involved almost every trade from the workshops - boilermakers, mechanical, trim, carpentry etc., and
Reason for post is that we could then go down to the local Bearing Supply Company branch and purchase all of the many uni joints and bearings and seals for the DUKW and could probably do so today. Keep up the good work! I am a GPW/MB enthusiastic, so really appreciate what you are doing, hope to visit one day.

I really missed the StuG III episodes of workshop Wednesdays during the brief hiatus. As much as I am fascinated by the mechanical aspects, I've realized that I enjoy watching skilled people enjoying their work and each other's company just as much.
Can't wait to see the gearbox overhaul and whatever work is needed on the Maybach engine!

As a retired castrol rep it did my heart good to see the guys using a proper cutting fluid in the lathe, what a beautiful job and towards the end my late fathers words rang true, “ there’s nothing like a good lump of wood and a light tap from a heavy hammer “. 😂Well done once again.

Again, best tank content on UA-cam. Kurt I must start complimenting you. The format and editing of these has gotten really good. Please keep featuring educational bits like this one. I was glued to what Beau was doing. It's so good. Beau great work as usual. I plan to have a detailed write up of all fittings on that vehicles fenders by the time you get to that part. It's nearly identical to the very good condition vehicle at Ft. Benning. So reference is there.

The transmission will be an interesting restoration all by itself. Given the incredible work to date. I'm sure it will look and work better than new. Too bad some of the surviving veterans who worked on these in the Wehrmacht motorpool couldn't have been consultants to help ya'all on these restorations. Bet they had some interesting field repair stories.

Great work. The roller fabrication was great they came out looking like the cast units. The final drive on the STUG was interesting, had assumed it was like the tigers and was a planetary configuration not just a gear-gear reduction. The transmission should do just fine internal oiling and rust remover on the outside, so it paints better. Keep up the great work mates this will be a beautiful unit when done.
