Just commenting as an engineer on Jessie's seriously good fabrication skills, recreating a complicated part from 90 years ago when you only have a single somewhat worn and corroded part to work from requires top of the line skills, you are so lucky to have people with such skills in your workshop
Yes that is seriously brilliant fabrication based on a less than perfect original. And Daryl's seriously good work on making all the turned parts. It's not that easy to get things correct where you have to have bearing races fitting perfectly on a shaft. Especially for someone who does not work on a lathe to precision tolerances every day. Great job Jesse and Daryl !
Love Jessie's fabrication skills and to do what he does in front of the camera is impressive, looking forward to Wednesday's in 2024, have a good one guys and gals at AAAM 😊
Great work from Jessie fabricating the suspension units, and Darrel for his excellent turning work on the bushes, sleeves and shafts, good work from Kurt with the video. You've got a good team there 👍
I finally figured it out , the crew are fabrication wizards, but instead of wands, they use a mig welder . It's great to see you guys back after the holidays. Work safe and keep the videos coming. Bless you all for your restoration work.
I’ve often read that machinery built by the German people prior to and during the 2nd World War was engineered to the maximum, just watching Jessie fabricating the suspension units shows how difficult it would have been back then without the technology of today, Jessie you are a fantastic engineer well done, as are all of the T A A A M fabricators and restorers also Kirt for the excellent filming and editing of this awesome series
Thank you for this wonderfull Video. Jessy did a amazing job . I am looking forward to the next Part. Greetings from Germany and the snowy Harz mountains
I have been watching these videos for a while. Impressive is a vast understatement. Cheers to the entire staff for preserving history and in a very real fashion bringing it back in no small degree. I do not know if I will ever make it to Australia, but if I ever do, your museum will be my first stop.
Wow! I am truly amazed by Jessie's skill.. his dedication to making it right.. I am looking forward to every Workshop Wednesday. This hard working team is wonderful! Cheers from Missouri USA..
I really enjoyed watching Jesse fabricating something quite complex. He has an exceptional skill set. As an old retired tradie, I saw and respect his calm approach. I'm wondering if a plasma cutter would make life easier for him.
Roy, I to was wondering where their plasma cutter was? I'm not sure if I have seen one in the workshop. Once you have one, you wonder how you ever got by beforehand! 😅 Sure there is the oxy-axe but who wants to lug gas bottles around and have to bother with turning things on and off? Mark from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
Impressive fabrication skills! Those suspension units are much more complex than they appear to be. Looking forward to the day when it's driving around!
Guys I very much look forward to Wednesday to see what your up to at the museum. I am amazed with the skill each craftsman brings to a restoration. The videos are amazing and I wish the were longer. Thank you for sharing the incredible work being accomplished.
What absolute brilliant fabrication work is going on here ,This Panzer tank Build is going to be something else ,I will be looking forward to it's weekly progress, you people are amazing, well done Mates.
Just flew back to Melbourne from Cairns today. Was up at Port Douglas and did intend to get to the museum but unfortunately due to the Captain Cook Highway still being closed we ran out of time to get there. Looks like I will need to make a special trip to Cairns and spend a few days dedicated to your museum. Love your work!
I finally got a healthy fix of Workshop Wednesday ! Aaahhh, like a warm spot next week the fireplace on this frigid January morning. NO ! Do not remind me that it’s summer time in OZ, don’t make me hate you. 😉
As a person who designs and fabricates tracked robots, both teams have phenomenal fabrication abilities coupled with extreme dedication for accuracy. Love watching the work as a person who studied German armor from a design perspective.
Jaw dropping fabrication. Everything looks like it is so easy but I can realize that this is because of the forward thinking and of course excellent Jessie's skills working of this project. Greetings from Poland.
That was amazing to watch, just imagine what that tank has been through in it's life, the stories it could tell, looking forward to the next chapter in this build.
Please pass on my compliments to Jesse. His work on these arms is amazing. My late father who was a Fitter, Turner and a Welder would have been proud of this work.
What a very good episode this week all. Jesse you are a top notch fabricator mate, just as everyone showcased in these Workshop Wednesday videos working for the Aus Armour Museum are. That suspension unit is a work of art, and reverse engineering and making the missing three units is very hard to do accurately even when you are copying a rusty original. Looking forward to next weeks episode.
Fabulous fabrication work! Do you guys need any pattern equipment or castings made? The ability to keep the patterns and reproduce multiple parts would be a key part of the restoration of certain parts I’d imagine! Still making patterns to this day in Australia and work is picking up nicely. Some great foundries down here too
I was about 2 1/2 years into my mechanic’s apprenticeship, when I realised that I would have preferred to have been a fabricator Welder. Seeing Jessie’s skills, makes me realise even more that I chose the wrong Trade. Absolutely brilliant skills. A privilege to see it.
A lot is often said about engineering of each faction's vehicles. Ie: Grant or the STG III come to mind. All your videos have been informative. I watch these as a former armor crewman and as an amateur historian. Often are the aha moments when the components are not what I or others thought them to be.
Thanks 😀was having withdrawals from workshop Wednesday glad you are back and this is going to be an awesome project, looking forward to visiting in a few months 😀👍

That's exactly what I was thinking all the way through this amazing video. Sheer skill bordering on magic, and I hope he is paid well enough
Wow great work.

It’s a privilege to watch a craftsman at work, awesome 👍🏻🇦🇺
Huzzah! Wednesday’s are good again😊
Jessie is a joy to watch him masterfully create those suspension parts. Well done mate!!!👍👏👏👏
Yes!!!!! Workshop Wednesdays, is it me or does this make Hump day SOOOO much better! Haha good old Toowoomba.
That young Jessie is a master at what he does😊
19 minutes went by in a flash! Looking forward to next week's edition!
Great recreation of some ridiculously complicated German engineering!
Love Jessie's fabrication skills and to do what he does in front of the camera is impressive, looking forward to Wednesday's in 2024, have a good one guys and gals at AAAM 😊
Dam felt like five instead of 29 minutes. Can’t get enough!
Great work from Jessie fabricating the suspension units, and Darrel for his excellent turning work on the bushes, sleeves and shafts, good work from Kurt with the video. You've got a good team there 👍
Great job by the team.

I have missed this over the Christmas season. Great to see you all hard at it again.

I love everything you guys do. I look forward to every Wednesday to see what you have done.
Thank you for this wonderfull Video.
Jessy did a amazing job .
I am looking forward to the next Part.

Amazing and a privilege to see Jesse at work. What a team!
Superb workmanship, Jesse makes it look so easy.. well done.
I am amazed by the work that is done on a tank my country did build about 90 years ago! Many thanks for keeping these artefacts alive!
I have been watching these videos for a while. Impressive is a vast understatement. Cheers to the entire staff for preserving history and in a very real fashion bringing it back in no small degree. I greatly appreciate how they take the time to explain their process.
Wow! I am truly amazed by Jessie's skill.. his dedication to making it right.. I am looking forward to every Workshop Wednesday. This hard working team is wonderful! Cheers from Missouri USA..
Great to see you guys back. Wednesdays are not the same without you. I hope the clean up went OK and not too much damage after the Christmas storms.

Awesome stuff, I can’t wait to see it running around the track
Jesse is an amazing fabricator. Much respect!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Kurt must have Panzer IV on the brain at this moment. 18:52 He said Panzer IV B instead of Panzer I B
I wondered about that too, whoopsy. :D
Noticed that!
Yep I was looking to see if anyone else commented on it!
Great and thoughtful improvisation by Jesse and the team, but also some really great explanation of the process. Really fascinating stuff 😊
Even this early in the project, I believe that you guys have done a great job and I hope you all have fun restoring this wonderful piece of history!
Nice work as always - such great fabrication skills!
Ah cool, a Panzer I. Always nice to see you guys working on these old machines. Interesting to see the mechanics 💥👍💥
Brilliant engineering. Glad you are back for 2024 👍
Impressive fabrication skills! Those suspension units are much more complex than they appear to be. Looking forward to the day when it's driving around!

Great to see you guys again, missed the weekly restoration videos. Fantastic fabrication work, such a joy to watch.
So close to a perfect narration! But Kurt calls the restoration for a "Panzer IV B" just at the end 18:50. Great episode with minor flub.

You won't be disappointed.
Insane the amount of work that went into these almost 100 years ago. Thanks for bringing this project back to life.
And when you think a WW2 tank’s life expectancy on the battlefield was just 20 minutes…
Great to see such a quality fabricator enjoying what he's doing.
the speed at which you guys get stuff done is incredible!!
Fascinating watching Jessie's excellent fabrication work! I would be interested to see the total time it took him to finish one piece.
Restoration fabrication. This is really good. Thanks Aus Armour and Jesse and Kurt and team. It's summer there! Just great.
I enjoy watching the clever ways you all make parts like this. Interesting to see such ingenuity at work duplicating such parts... Thumbs Up!
Jaw dropping fabrication. Everything looks like it is so easy but I can realize that this is because of the forward thinking and of course excellent Jessie's skills working of this project.
Greetings from Poland.
Incredible amount of effort to replicate a single part. Amazing
These guys are amazing tradesman. As a retired Boilermaker, I can see how good they are. Would love to just look at them at work. Great stuff, men.
I really would have thought those original parts would have been cast, fascinating see how they were made.
Me too!
That was amazing to watch, just imagine what that tank has been through in it's life, the stories it could tell, looking forward to the next chapter in this build.
Excellent work as always fellas!
Always an Outstanding video and presentation.
Happy New Year! Worth the wait, to see Jessie fabricate the new suspension units! That is dedication to his craft!!!!
Would be great to see the wheel rubberising process
Jesse has mad skills. Spot in!!
Great to see the restoration of this exceedingly rare Panzer 1. It’s great to see and hear how they were build back in the day.
Thanks for the video and the hard work done it's the highlight of the week, cheers Boys.
You guys really deserve a plasma or laser cutter ! Nice to see Darryl doing the Bush Mechanics thing with the Heavy Duty Chisel ! Bravo !
As always a joy to watch.
Please pass on my compliments to Jesse. His work on these arms is amazing. My late father who was a Fitter, Turner and a Welder would have been proud of this work.
Nice to see you blokes hard at it again, have missed it.
Fabrication Wednesdays rocked! Great work Jesse! Kurt thanks for asking all the questions!
Really loved the conversation about how they made it vs how you made it. Thanks for that. Beautiful piece
I am enjoying watching the rebuild of all the tanks you guy's do here on this channel, great videos thanks for sharing.
This guy could weld a replica of the Empire State Building, let alone anything Military. Crack on guys and well done.
Great work, thanks for sharing!!!👍👍👍
Jessie is amazing! what an Excellent craftsman. Well done.
Wow, the level of reverse engineering and fabrication to create period style parts is phenomenal. So much talent under one roof 👏
Thank you for returning the Wednesday show
The work you guys do saves history from destruction.
Work Shop Wednesday never disappoints! Great job ! Looking forward to future videos
The amount of fabrication talent at this place is immeasurable. I cannot wait to see a real, running Panzer I.
Free hand with a grinder like that! Jesse is a pro!

Beautiful job guys! Looks like a new one! 😃👍!
Blimey! - Jessie made a great job of replicating German over-engineered madness! Superb stuff. 👏

Brilliant workmanship. How awesome to have a Panzer 1 in the collection when it's done.
If you like fabrication work, this would be a fun project. The best part is that you actually get to see your creation installed and functional.
Thank you, I just love Workshop Wednesday. I am so looking forward to this project's completion. Cheers
Every time I think these videos can't get any better, you guys prove me wrong. Outstanding!
Really looking forward to this one. Kurt, did I hear you call it a Panzer IV B at the end of the video?
As a backyard fabricator, we do love watching this. well done mate, nice work.
This is going to be awesome!
