I think you nailed it. If you can get an allocation then you probably have the means to register outside Cali. I wonder if the dB ratings apply to used car sale from out of state?🤔 And as for dealers taking orders, well if you want to drop a deposit off I’m sure the dealer won’t say no. Then they blame it on the state and say Porsche is working on it.
So I'm sure you've seen that the state of California has decided to change its mind and they are allowing the manual shift forced to be sold in the great state of California after all... I would consider that a win for All automotive enthusiasts...
I’m pretty sure yeah the market demand is high enough in California Porsche will make Cali only exhaust to bring it in compliance. What high performance sports car still has its original exhaust on it possibly none
I watch a lot of car UA-camrs (E.g. Doug) and I often hear about the amount of regulations there is in the US. Jory, just come to Europe. (No bias but I recommend Ireland). No regulations here pal. You could start that baby up outside an old people's home and there will be no prosecutions 😂. Oh and my dream Porsche would have to be the Carrera GT with its 5.7L monstrous engine 😝
As much as I love the beauty of California, I couldn’t live there for the way they conduct themselves on cars. I think I’ll stay in my none emissions state of Tennessee lol here as long as it has lights and turn signals it’s road legal.
This is so ridiculous. So the problem is that it passed the old regulations that have been in place since like the 90’s. But there’s new regulations that get inacted I believe in July. These are the regulations that it didn’t pass. Had the car come out earlier, it would be fine. So my guess is that they’ll engineer in a slightly different baffle that gets installed in the existing designed exhaust and then the db level will drop down just enough to pass the new restrictions. First model year no 6spd, 2nd model year it’ll be avail. If u have an allocation, extend it out and you’ll be fine. Similar thing happened on the 991.1 GT3 with the sportbucket seats. CA laws like this are freakin wack!
Yes. our state leadership is dysfunctional, yet they keep getting elected. I guess that makes state itself dysfunctional. Too bad it’s not the California I grew up in anymore.
Time to start a shell company in Montana…
My man! 🤣😉
A man of culture, I see😂👌🏼
My accounting company specializes in that.
California and NY continue the drag race. The finish line: "who can make the most petty laws." Keep the hits coming, sir!
Jeremy Clarkson voice- Hows your beetle????
No apologies necessary. Keep the rants coming.
Bummer for California residents. It's odd because 911s arent known to be excessively loud in stock form, GT3 or not. Its just surprising is all.
The rant, (as always) is very welcome.

God damn! Millionaires are being mildly inconvenienced and no one is doing anything about it!!!
Hilarious comment. 🤣 I think the takeaway is about how silly, frivolous and ineffective this regulation is.

Nailed it
Damn. Commyfornia strikes again. You have relatives out of state? You might wanna call in a favor 😉🤣🤣🤙

Will there be T3 T2D rants?I am hoping to see dead-lifting the rear bumper of a car blocking your way and pushing it out the way like a wheel barrow.
Porsche: *try their best to sell as much E-hybrid cars and full electric cars to make GT3 manual happen.
California: No
See you in Austin
Dallas*
Houston* haha ^
