Yes you right sir!! We wolfpack so enjoyed with you double reaction for this two song😁
I love epilogue because it's feel so touching heart. Yes because that's ballads song.
I love don't bite the dust too, because feel fun and energetic.
Score 8.7 is great. That's high score too.
I see you reaction to another band or song. You not easy to give a high score like Lovebites.
And i'm glad Lovebites always get a great score from you. Thank you so much.
Asami is phenomenal singer too for me.
Again and again you not waste our time to watch this reaction. Because this great reaction and review.
Next song "Winds of Transylvania" or "Break the wall"
    Keep on lovebitten🤘

What a nice reaction that was - not a second too long in my opinion. And it really warmed my heart when you gave Asami the accolade she deserves - this wonderful lady's voice and stage presence are of the highest level.

LOVEBITES - Don't Bite The Dust lyrics:
The rain keeps falling and falling
I am crying all alone again
    Time is passing me by
Not knowing of what it's gonna be
But then I realized that I was only building my own wall
It's not too hard to find what's wrong
So I gotta stand up, bring it all together
    This game has only begun
Can I only stay the way I am?
Breaking the silence in the darkness
    I don't wanna fail, I don't wanna give in
I don't wanna bite the dust
All I have is a ghost of a chance
Never to forget what I've lost
    I don't wanna fade, I don't wanna get lost
I don't wanna bite the dust
Even if it's me against the world
I'm gonna fight until I die
But then I realized that I was only building my own wall
It's not too hard to find what's wrong
So I gotta stand up, bring it all together
    This game has only begun
Can I only stay the way I am?
Breaking the silence in the darkness
    I don't wanna fail, I don't wanna give in
I don't wanna bite the dust
All I have is a ghost of a chance
Never to forget what I've lost
    I don't wanna fade, I don't wanna get lost
I don't wanna bite the dust
Even if it's me against the world
I'm gonna fight until I die
    I don't wanna fail, I don't wanna give in
I don't wanna bite the dust
All I have is a ghost of a chance
Never to forget what I've lost
    I don't wanna fade, I don't wanna get lost
I don't wanna bite the dust
Even if it's me against the world
I'm gonna fight until I die
    I'm breathing and alive

I really like Epilogue, but i also like Dont Bite The Dust even more! It's a really fun song, i love it, even Miyako can't resist dancing with her guitar! 😁
Asami really is an awesome performer AND singer! Also Miho who is up there in front with Asami hyping the crowd all the time too.
Haruna is always fantastic on those drums, with a smile, she is THE BEST!
Thank you David, another awesome video from you! 2 for 1 was a nice surprise. 😀

Another great review! I love this performance too; from Miyako's Gary Moore-esque composition of Epilogue to the driving power of Don't Bite the Dust. All-in-all a fantastic performance. I also reacted the same way as you did seeing that jazzy run from Miyako on the keys (it is on guitar in the original but this version sounds much better).

You’ve just made my evening with your fulsome praise of Asami’s vocals. You wouldn’t believe that there’s a body of opinion that either doesn’t understand her style (they’re used to grunting rather than say Dio or Dickinson) or flat out hate them. Personally I think she’s in a class of her own. In Epilogue she pours her heart and soul into every word. And in Don’t bite the Dust (their debut single) she just has a blast. Great reaction, they always are.

It's crazy how some people don't like her, she's not just a good singer, she is excellent. I dont really care if her english is not perfect, sounds good to me! 😀
And also a natural on stage!

Great review as always. About that jazzy piano, Miyako said she had some interest in jazz lately in an interview. It is interesting that the singer Asami is rather shy off stage. She just transforms to an aggressive and wild badass when she goes to stage. I guess in her instinct, she loves to have attention and to go wild. I think she is a born showman and has it in her vein. Have a good one!!

When asked what she would do as a side project or after Lovebites Moyako said definitely no heavy metal, that's for Lovebites. She suggested jazz and, laughing. bosonova. In the behind the scenes video that is included on the Five of a Kind DVD Miyako can be heard playing odd snatckes of jazz.

You can never go wrong with Lovebites, everything they do has a purpose behind it, and I mean everything. One of the best things to see in their shows is how much fun they have playing, that's priceless, and I just hope to continue seeing this for many years to come. Now, regarding Miyako, yes...she is more serious, more retracted, she's the intovert of the band, but given how talented she is it doesn't really matter, at least not to me, but it's really good to see the rare moments when she actually shows that she's having fun on that stage.

Well David has elevated these Princesses to Metal Goddesses after several reactions to they performances. These women are totally intelligent in everything they do and Miyako has a big hand in that. They are the definition of flawless perfection but everything is thought out, arranged and executed to perfection, nothing is ever left to chance. Midori and Miyako are total opposites on stage but they are so in sync with one another you would swear that they have the Vulcan mind meld going between them. Great reactions and really great analysis as well always entertaining even when you are not ranting! Asami is a little Napoleon on stage prowling around demanding and ordering the crowd to join in and respond, put a mic in this quiet woman's hand and look out she turns into a drill Sargent, not asking but telling you what to do!!!!

    LOVEBITES - Epilogue lyrics:
If you have never cried, your eyes can’t be so beautiful
If you have never been hurt, you can’t feel the pain of others
    I will believe myself
    We’ll never be alone
    You will believe yourself
    We are the only ones
If you have never failed, you cannot be happy for success
If you have never loved, you cannot feel the love from others
    I will believe myself
    We’ll never be alone
    You will believe yourself
We are the only ones, forever…
    Just the way you are
    Just the way you are
Be the one you wanna be, with your own melody
    Just the way you are

    Love the song you sing
    Sing the song you love

Good review. Don't Bite the Dust is a fun song they all enjoy. You can't see it here but Haruna likes to throw in stick flips in this one :) You should give the studio version of Don't Bite the Dust a listen. At the end Asami does a vocal run that she doesn't dare attempt live, she always breaks it into parts.

Hey David thanks again for this reaction. I listened very carefully what you said, and just want to express my thoughts: personally i think Epilogue deserves more than 9 :) : Let me tell you why: There are two ways, basically, to envolve the crowd, one is commanding and screaming something like " Everybody put the hands in the aiiiir! RAise some heeeell!!! Make some noooise! and so on... The other way is more deeply: its touching their souls: Is let fall some tears down the face, is keeping the listener silent and emotional. I mean, if even with thousend of people over there, you can hear only the song and not one mosquito flying, well damn... that is envolving the crowd for sure! And Epilogue did it...
Its easy screaming PUT YOUR FIST IN THE AIR, and starting playing power metal, but if a song can bring some tears on an old metalhead's face, the song did his job: It reached the hearts. Just my opinion.

Best thing about this 2 fer is that you get to see Miyako like never before. The normal shy quiet subdued guitarist let's loose, but the in Epilogue you see Midori being reserved as the song calls for. Best part of Epilogue is seeing the versatility of the entire band and showcasing Miyako from acoustic guitar to Piano to electric guitar back to Piano and electric guitar again. As well as it being Asami's back ground of Jazz and R&B there was no accidents or sneaking things in as you pointed out. I'm sorry but you should have scored this at 9.0 based on these things. lol

Not sure why some are questioning your score as you always explain in detail why you gave it. Individuals can make their own reaction and score it if they like, rather than question your score. Expanding on this, some fans become rabid as such and no matter what a group releases, it is a second coming. The music industry is very aware of this and particularly in the pop market, songs get release by an established group that becomes a chart success that if it was a new band releasing it, the promoters would not touch it. The closest in the rock/metal genre is those who insist that it is a fixed genre and only certain groups fit it, everything else is trash. Thank you for your double reaction to Lovebites. Remember to look on Bit Chute or DailyMotion, if you can't find the recommended song on UA-cam.

Put my name by the most popular "Wagakki Band" song in the que. I don't see any in your reactions so far. My guess is it will be "Homura live" but just about anything by them is good. I don't see anything by Nemophila either.

I hate to be a dissenting voice here, but I just can't listen to Lovebites when they are in their normal full speed-metal mode. Maybe it's all the abuse of my ears over the years! And dare I say it's been done better by the likes of Deep Purple, Iron Maiden etc? Although every generation needs its own heroes. And Lovebites' talent is exceptional and undeniable. Also when I hear a song like Epilogue, I could listen to that any time. Emotionally very powerful.
