Disclaimer: This process is NOT reversible but the only method that worked for me. This CASIO Vintage Edition watch costs 30-40$ and I will be using it as long as possible. The lighter and more comfortable it is, the more you will profit over the years you will wear it.
I'm not a watch expert at all, just wanted to share my findings. Haven't regretted the change a bit!

if you know what you are doing, here are the step timestamps:
    1. Separate 3:18
    2. Twist 6:17
    3. Remove link 7:00
Plese bear in mind that you might scratch the last element which will never be visible when you wear it. Maybe test the procedure before on the last element and get yourself familiar with the forces needed.Thank you

Exactly what I was looking for, and surprisingly very little UA-cam content on the subject. Thanks!

OH GOD!!!! NO, NO, NO, WAIT!!! DON'T DO THIS!! THE RIGHT WAY IS EASIER!!! And it doesn't destroy ANY PART of anything. Look at the ends of the links. See the little square on the end of each link?
(1.) PUSH THEM OUT with something hard and small.
(-.) YOU'RE DONE. Each link you do that to will fall off.
AND you can put some links back on if you did too much.
UNLESS YOU GORILLA THE LINKS OFF, WITH TOOLS YOU DON'T NEED AND AN I.Q. YOU DON'T HAVE.
You couldn't watch just one more video?

@@princelulu332 Yeah, I’m pretty sure I can. Here’s twelve (Actually you did not specify which band you are fixing, so here you go.):
I typed “removing watch links” in UA-cam’s search bar. Pay close attention to the arrows indented on the watchband. You have to push the pins out in the right direction. You also went to have the same number of links on each side. Be super careful about springbars that jump and tiny collars that roll away. Those are things you shouldn’t have to worry about, but I owe it to you to warn you. Note some people call a watchband a bracelet.
      1. Not all watchbands are built this way, but most are. This is the most common method, and the most common tool. Watch how he puts a pin back in too (in reverse).
      ua-cam.com/video/DhQ-UGIjraM/v-deo.htmlsi=ipx9KgVBJlNNbpRF
      2. There are different tools you can use. This one looks simpler, but he’s making it look easier than it is.
      ua-cam.com/video/OWZfA2auxVI/v-deo.htmlsi=NhNM99cL-h2jh5LI
      3. This one shows how to remove a pin from a rare type of watchband, but some watchbands work this way.
      ua-cam.com/video/5_b1fz6d1uo/v-deo.htmlsi=VJbFREt1hwwzezSa
      4. This is an even rarer type of watchband, But I figured I’d give you what nobody gave me .
      ua-cam.com/video/Dzl1hA5i1-Q/v-deo.htmlsi=1yCd7Seyd6DpD-yW
      5. This one is rarer too, but you should know just in case.
      ua-cam.com/video/nDF0vWND5I8/v-deo.htmlsi=jjKyWoRjgqVB1WhB
      6. But there are other ways to change the length of the watchband, depending on the kind of wristband it is.
      ua-cam.com/video/IhdQqHphLyQ/v-deo.htmlsi=14FyG7zX_tFEIbKx
      7. Here’s another way to change the length of your watchband (if you have a clasp similar to this).
      ua-cam.com/video/yfAwqhGJIkQ/v-deo.htmlsi=64zQpfdlG4QB__ur
      8. This might be the coolest, but most watchbands don’t come this way.
      ua-cam.com/video/ZOn-H-8yHHw/v-deo.htmlsi=01ucn7B-g3QYzNwY
      9. This guy covered the most detail for multiple watchbands.
      ua-cam.com/video/TaSqbEuc4i8/v-deo.htmlsi=LJrxZv1tPhUPDaac
      10. This is good advice about what looks good if you need external validation to feel good about yourself.
      ua-cam.com/video/Rr29wx62sp0/v-deo.htmlsi=SMFkusq7Poe3FcB2
      11. But then there’s this.
      ua-cam.com/video/yH0p6QHx6I0/v-deo.htmlsi=ZEeoxWKnzQBOWw6t
      12. But mostly this.
      ua-cam.com/video/4IlWJmrq4rA/v-deo.htmlsi=N0PfjAoyGVQuSe2l
And that’s how to inform somebody.

Sorry. I never saw your comment. I can’t believe you would ask a question like that. The answer is… Wear your watch comfortably. You also need to consider safety - your watch’s safety. If you have a tendency to scratch your watch frequently, you might have gotten used to wearing it in a risky way. Look up videos that claim to know how you should wear it. Watch about twenty-five videos. Then you’ll learn that nobody knows what’s right for YOU. But you’ll also learn a lot of things of which to be aware. Then you’ll be able to make your own determination about what’s right for you. Since these are usually pretty short, you might be lucky enough to find out what it’s like to do your homework. It feels super cool to know that you know what you’re talking about.
