- Wanted to give everyone a quick look inside our new Restoration space and the first look at our Lamborghini Countach LP400S Project car! This 9,000 mile car is one of the original 150+/- Countach “Low Body” examples. Very original car, in need of a list of small details and fixes. Hoping to have it on the road very soon and take all of you for a road trip and more adventures with an early Countach example.

That's my lottery spec Countach. Absolutely perfect.
I want more content like this. I like seeing these old cars being fixed up like new for real driving. Seeing perfect cars is nice but watching new life being given to old exotics is much more interesting to watch.

That Countach looks really similar to my barn find. Going to start the restoration process in the next 3 months.

I drove "83" 5000s. It was glorious. A cop car slowed down so I could pass him so he could get a better look. I translate that into "I flew past a cop car in a Countach! How many of you can say that?" lol

Thanks for the video, John. I didn't know the low bodies were this much lighter than the later year cars. 300lbs is a huge difference.

There's a low body white on white 1979 countach in my area it's an amazing car there look cooler because there lower than a regular countach
are they lower? Is that why they are called a low body? I thought they were like a middle body

Damn I've never been this early on any video lol. That countach is so cool. I honestly had no idea they used mouse hair. I'm assuming it's real mouse hair?
I don't think that they would put real mouse hair in a Lamborghini, I could be wrong but I think its referring to the color.
actually its a combination of mouse and rat fur

Hey John, when the Countach is all complete and the body & paint are finished, is PPF a definite on it, to keep it nice, or is that not a thing for Countach models? Just curious.
You know how RR use cows from blah blah to avoid scarred leather? Did Lamborghini use mice from a country with no mouse traps?
Didn't see any blemishes in that dashboard.
