I'm so happy to see a winning Imperial Fists army! I have Tor already, but I definitevly want Lysander aswell. Only played Anvil Siege Force yet, but standing still is just such a huge downside! :/ A more competent friend of mine told me that 40k is won in the movement phase and getting to move out of cover to shoot first is wayy better than +1 to hit and wound.
I mean it does count for all codex compliant chapters, but definitely doesnt need to happen with non-compliant marines, that would go against the whole point of this update
Yes because the thing everyone would want is for divergent chapters using codex detachments, which already sucks and shouldn’t be a thing, to get a buff designed to help codex chapters keep up with divergent chapters. Have you like… not been paying attention?
An easy fix for the templars(and really all the others) using the ability of core codex oath in their detachments would be to just day "when using this detachment all adeptus astartes units that don't already have a keyword of "insert list of not the chapter you are meant to be playing chapters" coupled with the rule that states you can only have units from a single chapter that should fix it.
@DaveMcMuffin but by doing it they're not really playing templars. It's available to all codex armies that don't use unique units from any Chapter so it's fine
@@real-lomas-chenko I think he's saying if you use Righteous Crusaders, any BA, DA, SW, DW detachments, you get only the hit rerolls from OoM. Seems like the OoM buff being used in Non-Codex detachments feels against the entire point of the buff to Salamanders, Ultramarines, White Scars, Raven Guard, Imperial Fists, and Iron Hands.
@@Steeb1136 not really because you aren't going a significant advantage from using those detachments if you leave all the special characters and unique units from all chapters on the shelf.

Ingress and drop-pods works for me.
Love both of those lists! Just went Firestorm for the first time friday and enjoyed it a lot!
Yeah Firestorm absolutely rules
Hey Ides of March is my local gt. I'll be there.
So ur a rich boy playing at a fancy resort. No no, it's ok, I'm fine
I’ll be there as well! TTK is my favorite local shop
Hell yeah, see yall there! 😉
Trevi NOOOOO don't tell people about imperial fists in firestorm :,(
😂😂 thought you'd cracked the code but trevvy cracked you?
More hush money next time 😉
That’s a fun Necron list!
Trevy, you missed two glorious things.
1) the name of Tedd's list
2) a mad lad took 5 big chaos knights to this event
Isn't Lysander only allowed to join terminator's?
Space Marines have a lot of Detachment variety dont they?
eradicator don't provide full reroll to Tor since the ability specifies ranged attacks
Tor's 4 damage grav gun is, in fact, a ranged attack
Imperial fists win something?? Insert luke "thats impossible" scene
Joe is a hell of a player,
Give him a crappy list and he”ll still put up a scrap
That sucks here comes a nurfffffffff
Not so hot take: codex compliant oath should count for codex compliant detatchments as well edit: should only count for codex compliant detachments
No youve got your units and detachments go play with them
