Hi, I;m helping you can help me out. I'm using the same banana logo as you, but whenever i do, the sample turns out completely black (except for the banana) and when i turn down the opacity like you suggested, the black words are completely gone. They dont even show in the stitch option in the begin with, even though there is clearly words on the downloaded image :(
Hi! I definitely can! It's an issue that can happen when importing PNG images into PE Design from time to time. Anything transparent gets turned black (in this case, the background). To combat this, open the image in an image editing software (getpaint.net is a free one that you can download) and re-save the image as a .jpeg (save as > .jpeg (at the bottom dropdown)) instead of a PNG. Or you can use an online PNG to JPEG converter, by googling "convert png to jpeg". It turns out that it's an issue with copying images with transparent backgrounds from the net. The transparent background information isn't saved, so when rasterized the transparent background is replaced with black. Good luck. If you get stuck, feel free to comment back here.
Love your videos,, Your explanation is easy to follow, But I have a problem , when I use the Open straight line tool , or the manual punch , it doesn't plot its first point where I want it to go, it goes off to the side. The only tool which does what I want is the pencil tool ! Any ideas what Im doing wrong ? Its very frustrating. Thankyou
Hey! That's not something I've ever encountered myself. Are you using a mouse or a trackpad? or something else, like touchscreen perhaps? I can't say that there's any setting that I'm aware of that would cause that issue as you describe it. As I'm unable to replicate your issue, I'm assuming that it's a problem with your chosen input device (mouse ect.)
Sorry for the delayed reply! It could be a number of different issues, my assumption is that your text is black? If it is, and you save a PNG, sometimes it will turn the background of the PNG black also (instead of transparent) which would make the text disappear. I would suggest changing the text color in the image, then change it back to the right color when you have it in stitches within PE design 11.
That's strange, it's usually quite accurate. The only thin I could think would cause that is compression of the image. Make sure that the image is high quality.
Definitely, It'll be in an upcoming episode for sure! there is a little bite in the second half of this video, but in fairness it doesn't cover everything you could do.

I design logos etc in illustrator i was wondering which file format should I export to before importing to pe design 11?
I would definitely try to export as an svg if possible, as you can directly import svg files into PE Design.

When I try to upload an image with text its either missing or its a solid block. Any suggestions?
