Cool video man! Persona 4 is really good game. I’ve already played Persona 4 Golden on my ps4 and it’s awesome. I was wondering would you ever do 100+ facts for either versions of Persona 3, Persona 5, and maybe even Catherine?
The idea that Naoto carries a police issued gun is really interesting to me. She fires that gun a LOT in the shadow world, so does she have to go to the precinct after navigating a dungeon to get more bullets? Wouldn’t everyone there be wondering how she’s running out of bullets so fast?
Idk. It's possible her family has a stock of bullets or hush hush connections where the government doesn't ask, or even that the gun is real but still operates on P5's gun logic when it comes to bullets. A few different routes someone could take I think haha
given her upbringing and family history, I'd imagine there's a large stock of guns or bullets in her home, if only for self-defence in case of a break-in or maybe for something work related

@@HidinginPrivate that also makes good sense. Do we have any confirmation on the reason for Teddie's outfit choice? Speculation is all well and good, but id like to have a definitive reason so im not shooting too far off the mark
An expansion on #20, Naoto's 3D model also has earrings, which have never been reflected in any official artwork. Also, for #59, Raidou isn't referenced in the Japanese version of that scene, Chie mentions Kindaichi, a popular manga series (and also a popular series of mystery novels, but I doubt Chie would be interested in those). A similar thing happened in P3, where you play "Innocent Sin Online" in the English version, but you play "Devil Busters Online" in Japanese. The characters names are also "Tatsuya" and "Maya" instead of "N島" and "Y子" (Nakajima and Yumiko).
The fact that Kanji got a nosebleed from looking at Yu and Yosuke makes sense considering when Rise said why didn't he get nosebleed looking at Rise's swimsuit he said why would that happen
Played this game for the first time ever this year and after a 100+ plus run it became my favorite game of all time, all of these curiosities and easter eggs indicate how much attention to detail and love this game was made with.
Also a bonus fun fact, 2 years after After persona 4 released, Igor's Japanese voice actor Isamu Tanonaka sadly passed away. That's why Igor's voice is a lot more different in Persona 5 and Persona 5 royal.
Erm, actually 🤓… *SPOILER ALERT 🚨:* It’s also because the Igor you encounter in most of Persona 5 is an imposter. When the real Igor does appear his dialogue in the Japanese dub is reused voice lines from his first VA. Reusing his first Japanese VA’s voice lines has been how Igor’s dialogue has been dealt with, until he finally got a new Japanese VA in Persona 3: Reload.

on the subject of musical secrets in P4, Reach Out to the Truth's lyrics holds a rather dark one; On top of the lyrics vaguely supporting the game's themes of finding your own truth, the lyrics read more like the themes are being mocked, and the last few verses refer to someone begging to be released from the TV before they have to either accept their flaws or die. Personally, I like to take this as the shadow self mocking the party or victim while the person just looks past what they're saying, throwing a tantrum in fear for their life. 4's music tends to hold a lot of dark or interesting secrets in the titles or lyrics, like Heaven being Nanako's confusion and feelings of neglect after her mother's death, with a reference to the Junes jingle, which is kinda what holds her together throughout her grief, or The Genesis referring to the fact that you're using the Japanese God of Creation to fight the Japanese Goddess of Creation. As "genesis" refers to the origins or mode of something
But the irony, Ryotaro is the younger brother of Yu's mother. And also see Mitsuo riding his bike, when we see Namatame's truck for the first time. The Heaven dungeon is Pucci dungeon 🤭😏

one i noticed. in several cut scenes, the characters are eating instand ramen noodles, and the containers look just like the nissin instant yakisoba noodles. and each character picks the flavor with the color that matches their own color. yukiko has the red one, chie has the green one. yosuke has an orange one. . . . also, some days when nanako is watching tv, you can see a still image of the mighty morphin power rangers, aka zyuranger super sentai in japan. . also, in the protagonists room, he has a calendar on his wall that says "P3" and it looks like the calendar from persona 3, even down to the blue X's during the that one week in persona 3

According to the description this is a coincidence, but in Buddhism 108 is the traditional number of earthly temptations that must be overcome before attaining enlightenment. This is why Japanese Buddhist temples ring their bell 108 times to herald the New Year, and it's the number of beads strung together for prayer in Zen and other schools.
