Cheers TK - would of course recommend a visit! Only an hour or so by train from London it has some great spots for an evening on the beers and is full of manufacturing heritage 🍻
Birmingham is a great place for a beer filled weekend. Always look forward to The Wolf. Barrel Store will be pouring from those barrels later in the year.
That is some good intel Mr Wilson - will look out for that. Too many pubs to get around so focused on the breweries, will try and get those in another day 🍻
Voodoo Mild , rock n roll bar, fantastic. I've never had a pint in Birmingham Dan...think I'm due..6 quarters I love it😂. In this world there's only 3 types of people, those who can count and those who cant😂😂, good work Dan👍🍺
It was packed at 4 in the afternoon Slurpy, almost had no pint left 😅. Lots of similarities with Manchester really but think you’d be a fan of JQ. I’m always on the move so count using Roamin Numerals 😂
I was in Birmingham last year at the O2 institute. Nice venue, but unfortunately I didn't have the chance to visit any pubs. Hopefully I will be able to check out some of those pubs one day. Great Video! Cheers!
Great venue, South side of the city has The Custard Factory which is about 10 mins from there and The Old Crown which I think is a 14th century pub. Sometimes you’ve just got to rock 🤘🏻🍻
Dan great beers, I think the voodoo would be my beer of choice and I had a state of kind beer its a brewery in Wigan, did you have any of the BA beers?
It was an excellent mild Mr B, very small brewery so no real detail on the recipe but a cracking pint. We lost track of time and had to run to make the start of the England rugby game - Mr Wilson informs me that the barrels are getting tapped later this year so will head back I think 🍻
Love this. I live just off St Paul's Square and can confirm there are some great places to drink. The Attic taproom opened a few months ago and is ace, also does good pizza. The Queens Arms on Newhall St has just had a refurb and is nice. Also, shout out to 1000 Trades which is also great for beer and food. Speaking of food, The Hen and Chickens for beer and amazing curry, and who could forget Indian Brewery on Livery St. I think we need a part 2!!
I agree! Try and focus on local beers and going straight to the tap rooms is the easiest way to do it. Did have a nice pint in The Church and The Jewellers Arms but too busy to film in there. Will be back - great suggestions there and might have a pub focus next time 🍻
Great vid, cheers dude!
Thanks - good brewing going on in Brum. Not quite hop monsters but Attic or Glasshouse worth a beer review or two for your channel I think 🍻
I have been to England a number of times, but never Birmingham. Would love to visit. Great video, cheers!!

Another great vid cheers 👍🍻
Cheers Rik, have you ever brewed a mild? Definitely beer of the day 🍻
@@thehoppytraveller the only mild I’ve brewed was a ruby mild and it was very nice indeed 👍🏼
Nice one 👍 Good pubs and good beer ❤ I've never been to Alabama 😉
Closer than you think Don 😂 - spoilt for choice on the pubs really, video could have been over an hour long!
