- It was the final night of 2023... and we headed to Digbeth in Birmingham for our New Years Eve Celebrations...
Despite some places not being open and some having ticket only functions, we managed to get through 15 of the local areas pubs... join us for a New Year walk around Digbeth and see inside the following 15 pubs...
The Royal George Hotel
The Old Crown
Birdie's Bar
Drop Shot
Dead Wax
The Fountain Inn
The Moseley Arms
Cleary's
Town Crier
The Lamp Tavern
The White Swan
The Spotted Dog
Bull Ring Tavern
The Dragon Inn (Wetherspoons)
Subside
Birmingham is really cool
It certainly is... plenty more of it still to explore too
Used to go in the Anchor and the White Swan after Blues games back in the 90s - bostin boozers 🤓👍🍻
Anchors a bit swanky now kid
How the fuck did they find the fountain? Thats like the last little pub left
Dont usually drink over that side of town , but looked pretty good from what you've shown . Well done .
The comnents about Wayne Rooney aged well 😂
Bloke couldn't even last a day from the video being posted 😂
Good pub crawl 🍻
Thank you 🍺🍺
Did you try the Spotted Dog again, and the Kerryman ?
Kerryman has closed down
Gooaarrn Leeds 😆😆💙💙🤍🤍💛💛
Good vid, why didn't you go to my regular haunt, The Big Bull's Head?
I've no idea now where that would have been mate but this was New Year's Eve and we tied about 20 other places, all were ticket only, so I assume that would have been one of those...
@@thegreatbritishpubcrawlMight have been ticket, but NYE is one of the nights i never go out. The pub itself is between the Old Crown where you was, on the same side of the road, and the Bull Ring Tav where you also visited. The pub regularly plays 2 Tone/Ska, Reggae, Soul and Mod music, especially Saturday nights.
He went in, 16.20 He wasn't impressed!
Thanks for doing long Eaton would you do ilkeston
Definitely very soon
Good to see Digbeth is still rocking. Many memories.
Mostly Irish yes.
Anchor and White Swan used to be great pubs until ownership changed
Anchors still going. Bit sWanky now
Moseley next, please.
I'll look into it mate
Birmingham has been invaded sadly, I'd stay clear
Most of the 'invaders' don't go to the pubs in Birmingham, though, do they ?
Digbeth is pretty untouched, as long as you avoid a grime night
