- The last of my Black-Headed Caique chick to hatch from Egg, fascinating how a baby chick fits into such a small egg.
Was a pleasure to watch this chick enter this world from the first initial crack to breaking open.

I want to hatch my own caique - please recommend incubator, and where I can get a general guide of how to raise a caique.
Any incubator on the market will do the job as long as it can maintain temp and humidity. Optional to have incubator rotate eggs or you do it yourself. Once hatched a very long road to multiple feeds a day until weaned

Hi, im trying to breed my caique's aswell, any tips about how to make them the most comfortable? And is there anything i should look for to make sure they are one of each gender?
With Caiques you have to get dna done to know their gender. Just make sure they have plenty of space to fly around and lots of chewing toys
Mine doesnt really fly much but they are extremely active when it comes to climbing, jumping, Running and walking around
@@Stian132 Yh same here. Just give them lots of things to do and make sure nest box is not bothered
@@BrianVibert1 i have noticed that my male is more round between the legs while the female have sort of a eggshape on her belly(probably to make it easier to keep the eggs beneath her)
Is this prehaps a way to indicate the gender?
