I know most people would find that very annoying and scary but when you know why they are doing it, it's flipping adorable. I'm assuming you give them a chance to bathe after feeding?
when you said till they are more interested in playing than feeding, how long is that usually till they reached the stage where they stop screaming for formula?

These are black capped caiques. Black capped caiques have black on their heads. White bellied caiques have orange instead (although both types have white bellies technically lol)
You're a busy birb-mom (or more of a birby-sitter?, Or baby birb day care?) Why do you raise them rather than their parents after a few days? . Is it hand rearing so that they'll be better with humins people? How many of the little buggers have you helped raise now?

Don't like the way you are feeding out of order. Put them all in a location where they can't get out of, feed one at a time so you don't miss one. It happens.

DNA testing. Take your birds to the vet and asked to have them sexed. They send a feather to a lab and then they tell you.

You usually can't tell a boy from a girl without sending a feather to a lab first.
