I'm Jason, a full-time British Travel Vlogger and UA-camr who's been to 60 countries. I've been travelling around the world full-time since 2017.
I have travel series' from many of the world's best (and least) known destinations. I filmed the first vlogs on my channel in the summer of 2016 after spending a year living in China. A proper solo trip around Eastern Europe followed after graduating from University in the summer of 2017, taking me to Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Kosovo. This marked the start of my efforts to turn vlogging into a full-time job.
After that European trip I explored much of Asia: visiting India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Korea and Kazakhstan.
I have also travelled to North Africa and the Middle East fairly extensively over the last five years, filming videos in Turkey, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine.
I've travelled to North America just once as a UA-camr, visiting Mexico in 2021. Though I have been to both the USA and Canada, this was as a child on family holidays.
In 2022, I took my first trip to Sub Saharan Africa, visiting Kenya and Tanzania, before heading to the Middle East, stopping in Dubai and Lebanon. Europe followed, covering both the Greek and Turkish sides of Cyprus, and afterwards going back to Italy for the second time to cover Milan and Sicily. I then visited the Caribbean for the first time, covering the Dominican Republic, before heading to both Brussels and Amsterdam, then covering Taiwan and the Philippines in Asia. I finished off the year with a trip around Morocco.
I started my travels in 2023 by finally visiting Paris, taking the Eurostar from London. I then headed over to Qatar for a few days, before heading to the south of India.
#bangalore #bengaluru #india
I definitely admire your balls and courage to travel solo the way that you do!! Looking forward to the next one!
Thanks Bob!
yea, I just get anxious watching him go through the streets all alone half way around the world :D
👍👍👍
@@eifelitorn Its much safer there than his hometown UK / London for example... you should be worried when he is back in his "safe" first world country lmao. go look at crime statistics
India is very very safe 😆
I live in USA and I was able to register and buy tickets with IRCTC using foreign credit cards few days back. They even sends text to my USA phone no. So it is doable and once done you will not find it difficult. For foreign card only one particular option you have to select but it is there and the charge for using foreign card is very nominal
Nice to see you in India again, Jason! My next visit is two years away yet so lucky you.

India is 29 states 7 Union Territories. Each state is distinct and diverse by race, ethnicity, cuisine, language, festivals, ethnic dress, religion, mannerisms etc. No one state is similar to the other. Therefore India or indians cannot be stereotyped in one category for anything. Each state experience is unique. Google each "Indian state tourist spots" based on your preference (Dessert, Fort, Snow, Palaces, Hill Station, Himalayas, Temples, etc)
Best time to visit India is in winters - Oct to Jan end. ,,.,.,.,

India the greatest travel experience ever 👍 when you kept saying sleeper train I had to chuckle to get any sleep is an absolute impossibility 😂😂
If u take first class AC to 2tier AC Indian train, u can sleep well. It has AC and all facilities.
Avoid 3 tier to non AC it's for poor masses and prices are low to make it affordable to them.
You are quite adventurous.
Beautiful
Recently Mysuru Bangalore expressway opened u can travel in that in 90 mins. But I think bikes and rickshaws not allowed in it, mayb Ola cab is fine.
When in Mysore visit Mysuru Zoo, Mysuru palace, Brindavana Gardens
Waw traveling to India...
Hi Jason, I'm a huge fan of yours. I am originally a Bangladeshi but live in Kuwait, I have been watching your videos since before covid (watching your videos for about four or five years) and I like your videos very much. My dream is to travel the world like you, let's start this journey in the next one to one and a half years and yes, I will be very happy if I meet you sometime in my life. Blessings and love to you Jason.
Thanks for the comment and the kind words, maybe one day!
@@JasonBillamTravel Very Happy to see your comment ✌️
Thanks again John in Chicago
If u know where/when your next journey is -book at the train station … only problem was the confusion with WL (waiting list)…I travelled 1st sleeper/ 2nd class/3rd class ….fun fun all the way
I would like to invite you to Kerala ❤️ Try the beaches, Hills and backwater cruises.
The first time I visited Mysore was in early 1981 when I was 18 years.
Hey Jason billam welcome to India 🇮🇳 bro

PRESENT DAY: Jason Billan Travel cross-over with Gabriel Traveler UA-cam channel in Hampi, India.
Interesting to see the "behind-the-scenes" of your shots through Gabriel's channel. The video was posted earlier today.
Check autoriksha Fare and and there can share auto if you travel single for short distance. First check prise of any itam purchase specialy food they charge you 15 rs food at 100. You check first prise after pay. Because basic Street food prise have similar.
I'm a great fan of your travel videos since I'm very much interested in transport and travel. Now you have come very closer to my place. I'm from Pollachi, Tamilnadu and it's just 250 kms away from Mysore. Visit Pollachi if possible and there are many tourist places nearby. I'll be very happy if you visit here and my home!
Amazing! I'm flying to India in 3 weeks! I hope to see you there :)))
Visit Kerala if you could.❤️
@@arjunraj823 I would love to! This time I'm visiting the North of India, but I hope to come back very soon to visit the South as well... I heard it is amazing! :)
@@spaghettistef Hey, I would suggest you to be a bit careful and not go into untidy areas as they might get a bit unsafe and if possible get in contact with hotels/ resorts that take care of the whole journey. Use ola/ Uber for travelling. If the driver demands more money, you can contact the customer care. Be careful while trying street food, as an Indian myself I've had bad experiences with street food. Lastly try to get a friend who's well spoken in English and is trustworthy to help you around. Have a safe and memorable journey!
It's summer in India and very hot. Come during Oct to Jan months when it's good temp.
Gabriel brought me here.
Are you going to meet up with Gabriel Traveler? He is heading to Hampi too!
Seems a wee bit dirty both on train and train station, how is it?
Sir When you come in Delhi plz visit in Old Delhi.. I am your big fan for your simplicity...Inshallah i will host you in delhi

You can take Vande Bharat expreess from Bangalore to Mysore. It is best. why this train
Hey Jason I'm in Goa, you should come down. We can party 🎉
Tell me that you are going to Srinagar! Such an exotic place! 🙂
I’d love to one day but not on this trip. It’s far north and I’m exploring some of the south for the first time.
@@JasonBillamTravel I'll follow you wherever you are. Enjoy your trip and thank you for sharing your journey with us. Greetings from Brazil.
U should have travelled in vande bharath express
Please come to bihar brother
I think I love you lol come to Kansas USA
Jason have you been in Lucknow city or not yet?
Yep, I have a video on it from 2019
Driving by road in bangalore mysore expressway would have been better and comfortable journey for you.
Jason, thanks for sharing the adventure. Are you planning to visit China? Since I follow your channel for some years now, can I ask what is one of your motivations, maybe inspirations from your significant figure? From your early years, to visit: less beaten road
Hey Julie, I lived in China for a year from 2015-2016, and then travelled the country a fair bit at during that year (there’s a few videos on my channel, the very first ones). Though there’s still so much I haven’t seen there, given the current situation in world politics I don’t know how safe it is to be walking around with a camera and vlogging in China right now.
In terms of motivations it’s the desire to experience new cultures, food, to learn about history, all those things travel related. It never gets boring.
Sound very muffled when camera is pointing away from you, you probably already know that.
I do - once I hit the next big city I’ll try to head to a camera store and find something else to replace the mic.
How do you cope with the intense heat in countries such as India? Great video btw
I have no good answer for you other than: explore in the mornings and late afternoons
By Visiting Extreme Cold and Freezing Himalayan States/Provinces in North and North Eastern Region of India which is home to Snow Capped Mountains, Glaciers, Frozen Lakes, Frozen Valleys, Cold Desert, Frozen Waterfalls and Frozen Rivers.
Bengaluru and Mysuru have comfortable weather these days in London the maximum temperature reaches 40 degrees.
In Bangalore and Mysore only for 15 days in April the maximum temperature is 36 degrees Celsius otherwise throughout the year the max temperature is around 24 to 28 degrees. In December and January it is around 18 to 22 degrees.
There are vineyards around Bangalore.
@@webabhi Indeed. But some foreigners always assume India is among extreme heat countries and lack knowledge about diverse geographical topography of the world that India also has got extreme cold destinations which are as chilled as European and American Countries.
India, China, Iran, Turkey, Uzbekistan, USA and Turkmenistan have places where maximum temperature goes up to 45 degrees and minimum temperature falls down to minus 30 degrees Celsius.
Collab with Gabriel Traveler coming up Jason ? Hopefully you guys can meet up 🤞
Possibly!
Brilliant to see you guys meeting up, genuinely brought a smile to my face seeing Gabriel's latest video. Your videos and Gabriel's have definitely helped me through some tough times during last few of years during pandemic watching your videos and inspired me to take the plunge and travel alone ✌️
You should have been in Vande Bharat
Never going to forgive you for not filming the locomotive on your train 😉
Thank you for the interesting VDO Jason. Please note, it's not "twelve go Asia", it's "one to go Asia". John, Bangkok
Good spot! I’ve been saying it wrong all this time haha
