Please i have issue with my fob key, fob wont lock/unlock the door. i have to open the door with the key. after inserting the key in the ignition and removing it, the fob will work by locking and unlocking the door but after like 5 mins, it will go back to not locking/unlocking please whats the solution?
@@BestCarFixes remote battery is ok. started noticing it after my car battery went flat. so after charging the battery, i satrted noticing the issue. can a bad car battery be the cause?
That’s happening to me, I have a HR-V, my car didn’t want to start, the lights on dashboard were flickering, my husband removed the battery, got it checked and was fine, put it back and the car started but notice the red light on the fob key stayed on, now having problems locking and unlocking the doors
Did the flashing lights did that cause of the key?, cause I had that issue on Monday thinking was the battery, then notice the light on the key stayed on, now key is not locking the car
@@BestCarFixes okay thanks do i need an obd tool or can i program the key fob by following the instructions for honda key programming? Just turning ignition on off and pushing lock button
@MOHCINE KAISSI yes i solved the problem, you have to check the original remote key frequency because i think that there are two remote keys frequencies. At ebay you can bay and small tool to check car key remote frequencies, it cost around $10. In my case at first i was trying to add a remote with the 314mhz frequency, but then i checked the original key and i noted that it had a 434mhz frequency. And the the car at first it starts because the car key chip is separated from the remote. In that case you have to buy first the small tool and check the car remote key frequency and the you could be able to get the right car key remote.
Frequency problem, I had the same problem with my 2017 Honda accord. I was trying to program a key from a Honda accord 2015. I get the right key and is working properly.

Hello i think it is a frequency problem.
I agree w with you
@@BestCarFixes Yes it should be because Europe based won't accept American frequency. America 313.8mhz Europe 433mhz
Did you get your key from Honda?
NO
@@BestCarFixes where did you get it
