Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Administration Building Groundbreaking

Sarasota County held a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, June 25 for the new Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources (PRNR) Administration Building. The building will be in the 123-acre Twin Lakes Park and will include a multi-purpose building with two large meeting rooms, with capacities ranging from 50-130 people. Additional outdoor restroom facilities will support the new building, existing athletic courts and future pickleball courts. Six PRNR divisions will operate out of the new administration building, streamlining procedures and customer service. The design phase of this project began in the summer of 2022, and the project is expected to be completed in the fall of 2025.
