I appreciate you finally sharing your thoughts on the CCA Hydros. I personally use them with the UUDU configuration with spin fit ear tips and I really enjoy the engaging sound. The cable is also one of the best at the price range!
I'm glad you're splitting the video into sections, with the name of the iem, because I often got so confused since I'm rather new to the hobby. Would be nice if you included links to atleast the top two tiers. Nevertheless, a solid video as always.
Great video, thanks! Just got the Explorers and the 61t's should be here in a few more days. It will be interesting to compare our listening experiences. I always enjoy your reviews.

Hi, i've seen your list and i have a question, why did you only put there tanchjim one's 3.5 version? Is there a problem witsh dsp? I want to buy one and i heard that dsp is better in most cases.
How are the techs and resolution on the Hydros compared to the SM4 ? and are both more resolving than the planars ? I'd like to know in case I can't get my hands on the SM4 . Thank you .
Hey Jay, Ive been eyeing the pilgrims but I am worried that the pre production pilgrims where better and the new production ones are nerfed as per super review. What are your thoughts on this?
What are the soundstage size king / holographic imaging under 200 and under 500 USD ATM? Those are two things btw. Sometimes size and 3D effect are not correlated.
MEGA5 EST = HD600 is endgame in my interpretation. ❤Ziigaat x Jay's Audio Estrella❤ Simgot SM4, and ❤FatFreq x HBB Deuce seem to be amazing sounding IEMs at mid fi prices. This hobby has turned into target rich BANG FOR BUCK values.
@@calvinyip364 hey Calvin, just posting my findings. I didn't include price. As much as I respect Jay, and his excellent reviews, I am going to wait before I buy my next IEM, the consensus on the new sets need to come in. Estrella.. on my radar!
Hey Jay, trying my best not to watch reviews for now but I checked out your tier list and my question is: if i'm going to buy one endgame+ pair right now, which one would be good to get so I can have something and sleep soundly with the thought that I have something good and won't need anything better kind of pair? :D Symphonum Crimson?
u might wanna take a look at the Symphonium Europa, it's basically the Crimson but with less and smoother treble, the rest of the frequency is identical to the Crimson graph-wise. I've heard the Crimson and it's an awesome IEM, best technicality below $2000, only the Pres LTD & Gaea come near it.
@@damtran993 eeeeenteresting. I guess Symphonium is the target, and Singapore is the place. Thanks guys. Maybe test a bit of that FatFreq as well while I'm at it.
Thanks for this. I might try the Oracle mk3. Question : I have the UM mest mk2. But was considering the Prestige Ltd. I typically use eq (Fiio utws5 iem adapter). Would they (the Ltd) be worth getting knowing I can eq my Mest mk2? Which ways are each better than the other?
Surprised at the rather low placement of Titan S2. I thought they were better/close to EA500LM in technicalities, and sound signature is still good (just not special).
Wow shades off..Hmm u foam guys..ok..it's may cuts sum of the freq bra on foam..it's my fav tips lastime..Sorry but I'd like the 1st oracle not 2nd but 1st 1..Anyway gd reviews..Peace!
Why do you keep calling stuff like the Dunu Titan S2 "Harman" (with a bit of sense you're using it as a slur) when it's nothing near Harman? It's much warmer, it doesn't have the scooped midbass. The Supermix 4, on the other hand, is VERY close to Harman. Bit of an InigoMontoya.gif moment
All reviewers in this platform are overly allergic to the word Harman, once they use it expect that it will connotate to something bad. Its like the N slur but for audiophiles. We should have a metric in what really satisfies as a Harman IEM (like maybe having a PPR of 85% would be a nice indicator), this Harman term is being used so lousily by these reviewers I don't even know what these reviewers are on about. Don't forget the mispelling "Harmon".lol
Harman target was cool, until it became mainstream, and now it's a dirty word that everyone likes to throw around because everything is too "the same" now, and "Harman is for normies with iPods." The problem is the graphing, and not the sound signature. And too many people put the graph line over reality. This is why the community needs to evolve and start doing waterfall graphs that actually show decay values. Because with Harman guided tuning, graphs are starting to enter into the realm of irrelevancy beyond the basic trending the IEMs general tonality. Just like in gaming where FPS is only a basic metric now, and the nuance comes from the frame time graphs where things like render lag and stutter are exposed. We need that same nuance in a waterfall graph to show differences between Harman, or other standard target tunings.
@@bigbuckorammanice explanation. I'm surprised people are surprised about the aversion to Harman. It is what you said, too many sets doing the same thing and a lack of balls to try something new. Harman owns up to mistakes in the research behind the Harman curve for IEMs, some people missed the update. Harman is not exciting. I used to auto EQ everything to Harman as an experiment, not one set sounded better.
