I got my Simgot EW200 delivered today. Man, the detail retrieval, layering, and imaging are indeed above average. The soundstage/headstage is a bit narrow compared to the IEMs I have used previously. Though for my taste, the treble is a bit too much, it's okay, it isn't shouty or anything.
I was looking to buy the HBB Khan, but I could not find a pair as they are now discontinued, so my eyes opened wide just now when you said I have a new collaboration, and it's for bass heads....A massive smile on my face :)

We use a lot of BLON-03 in church for band players - got some from Drop long ago at near $20 each. I think I've bought either 8 or 10 sets. Now they're showing their value and keeping prices up. I enjoy the EW200 to the point of feeling it should be "The Best" tier - but you're close there with Top Tier.
I love these tier list videos. A lot of the viewers will be interested in your verdict (yes or no kinda verdict) of IEMs under 50$. This is the perfect kinda of video to take that decision. Eg: how you put castor in the top tier! which means it hits beyond its price point - that is so cool! btw, why did Ziigat nuo go to "it's ok"? I thought Chris recommended that set?

Yes! The original Heart Mirror is my favorite budget set by a long shot! Thank you for highlighting the betrayal that was the Pro version. Fortunately, there is now an updated version of the original called the Heart Mirror Zero (another Zero, because of course, lol) which is a nice return to form for fans of the original, and it's even at a lower price while sounding just as good!

Really surprised you have the Sonus in Top Tier! That's actually my favorite set - I have the S12 Pro, Hexa, EA500, Fudu, Phoenixcall, and a few others. Didn't expect you'd enjoy the leaner tonality (not thin!), but yes, love this set to bits.
How does it differ from the Phoenixcall for you? I only own the Phoenixcall, which I like, but I am wondering what's available that's different out there...

I guess I need to go back and listen to the Zero Blue again, as I recall I thought it was a little lackluster at the time and it was quickly overcome by newer additions to my collection. But with it being in The Best tier along with the EA500LM, I'm going to go back and give it another go to see if my opinion was formed a little to hastily. Thanks.

I enjoy these lists. It's always nice to see what others think about iems before you decide to buy. It reduces the risk of getting something really bad.

After spending a lotta time fucking about as an A1/A2 I'd say shoot for whatever's comfortable, affordable, and neutral. You may consider something that enhances things you are monitoring more often but it's better to do these kinds of adjustments at your monitors mixer via onboard eq. Neutrality gives you that flexibility. However let's say you're tracking the drums and bass to keep your timing, a mild v would be beneficial. Then you just crank your MD/vocalists to make up for how the natural eq recesses their voice. Your click should be obnoxiously loud over the mix, and if you really need soundstage there's always the pan function at your monitors mixer. As a performer you'd be better off learning how to communicate your desires with your monitors engineer, or learn how to mix your own ears. Then just wear some shitty Shure se250's the house loans you with some clean foams. Live audio monitoring isn't supposed to be fun it's supposed to be functional. If you're making money and you're a touring professional, UE's are the industry standard. I just bought a full set of chu2's for a youth band, they prefer em to the house se250's.
I am super excited for the Hades !!! I still think my favorite bargain sets are the Tanchjim One DSP, the KZ Castor bass, KBear Rosefinch, the QKZxHBB and Z300 round out my top 5 budget ( under $50 ). In the under $50-$100 range, I add the Olina SE, EA500 ( both OG and LM ), Kailua, and Galileo.

I Own the QKZ Khan and really enjoy bass response, with the right amount of power to drive the set and a tad of EQ the set turns into a beast🔥. Would you say your new Collab is a solid upgrade?? specifically in the sub bass region???

2024 - a big year already in budget IEMs - should get even better as the year goes on. These are great videos looking at what is available today. In the church settings and discussions I participate in - they're all talking "which Shure IEM to buy for the church players" - I waive them off Shure and to really investigate the market better. So much better - so much cheaper. So much better fitting. The SE215 is like a 10 year old design with 1DD selling for $120+ at times (and lots of knock offs out of China too).

Zero OG still a fantastic set imo, despite being my first venture into the IEM world and being a budget set. Glad it still holds up
