thankyou so much for the explanation at the beginning of the video, i was trying to find a lets play to watch and was wondering why everyone sucked. ill stop on this one tho subbed
(1:44:14) Well, while I can't say I ever took an arrow to the knee, I did have a car drive over my calf. Imagine something so painful you're screaming with all the force your lungs can muster. Unfortunately for me, the driver, not fully understanding what happened, put the car in reverse and drove back over my leg again. Luckily, nothing was seriously damaged, I was fully operational the next day. Good times... Good times... That said, don't get a mod, just manage your saves. Sleep once a day. Swig them sparingly, they will get you drunk. Best times to down one is before traveling, before danger or before something you don't want to fail at. If you have none, you can always find a bed and sleep for an hour. And learning to read is not a bad idea since that will help you brew your own. Oh, and while it's a bit inconvenient, you do have an exit save.
30+ hours in and I haven't modded yet, but there are frustrating quests that are buggy enough that I don't blame anyone who does. At this point I've found my groove and don't think I'll be needing any mods like that.
Didn't really notice the game when it came out, but I'm always interested when small teams try to challenge themselves. So looking forward to this playthrough.
It won't be for everyone some of the mechanics can be really hardcore and will turn some off. Watch a few more eps and update me on whether you think you'll try it or not. I think it's a great game personally but don't judge anyone who isn't into it. It is VERY specific tastes.
This is incredible quality and i was looking for a recent playthrough of this game with someone who has experienced it before. I have only played the game myself as far as going back to bury your parents but im absolutely hooked. Very excited to watch this. Thank you!
I love the visuals of this game. They did an amazing job for a small team. I really love the historical elements. Hahahaha don't whistle while thieving. Henry needs better friends lol. With how unforgiving it can be I don't think I'd be good at playing this. Things went really bad, just imagine what people had to suffer in those days. Poor Henry:(
I played it in 4K with the experimental settings with no problems with my 3090. But I font like 4080 I had it and returned it to the store second day it makes very little gains if any.
The small team thing about Warhorse has been heavily misconstrued. They had around 100 employees when this game came out in 2018, the 11 team members number was when they launched the Kickstarter for this game in 2014. They're now over 200. Btw, I played through with the "experimental" graphics settings earlier this year no issue. Could just be luck but who knows.
That’s a small team considering the incredibly ambitious and complicated game design (not to mention the amount of content), especially when you realize that throughout development the number was much smaller. You are talking about the size of the team when it was at its peak. The average dev team size throughout development was probably around 70 people.
1:39:00 technically, humans generally aren't capable of multi-tasking per se -- actually doing two tasks simultaneously. What we colloquially call that is actually just task-switching. This incurs a small cognitive cost each time we switch, as we reorient ourselves for a new task. People who are better at "multi-tasking" are actually just more efficient at a suite of related skills including managing this reorientation cognitive load, time management, logically organizing their workload and task pipeline, etc. But yes, a pause function during mandatory tutorial pop-ups would definitely help us while we reorient. XD
My husband and I tried it on release and liked the story and graphics but we found the game controls (lock picking for example) really bad. We stopped to play just a few hours in because of that
Thank you for this series Im getting ready to play this game before the sequel and it's nice hearing about tips and tricks
Really like the vibe. You've got a good voice for UA-cam too.
Thanks!

Thus is an interesting looking game! I might wait a few more episodes before I buy it myself!

Such an underrated gem

It's a really fun game! I love it. It has some issues but nothing that truly sours the overall experience .
@@AnalogVernacular agreed, looking forward to the sequel early next year

The number of times I will whistle in this game instead of crouching.... smh I think I'm just bad at keyboard and mousing lol
Nice, your in for a great world and experience
dang i missed that calm and collected voice narration :) been too busy to watch these longer videos :/
It took me a while to register until I saw the title but yea love ta see the prequel played before the sequel releases

Hello analog, just watching your video again… ❤❤ I don’t know what to comment anymore 😅😅
Fun watch

That's still a small dev team for size and scope imo but thanks for the numbers. I'm glad they are larger now for the sequel too.

Kingdom come is♥️🙏♥️
I played this game I didn’t get far in it but did little research for myself the saviour something aka the save drink you can make them
Almost all heroes in rpgs in games are certified kleptomaniacs. Don't worry. I am also a loot goblin some acorn nuts.

Pedant lol
@@AnalogVernacular Hey, the Internet is my oyster and I play to my strengths. XD
first time playing this or did you watch someone plays it ?
I played it in the past myself. Not my first time. I didn't finish it the first go though. This was before I had a YT channel.
It's not Kingdom Come: Deliverance, it's Kingdom Come: Digiorno!
My husband and I tried it on release and liked the story and graphics but we found the game controls (lock picking for example) really bad. We stopped to play just a few hours in because of that
On keyboard and mouse it's much better. But I have heard the controller lockpicking was VERY hard.
