I was thinking you could have grabbed a 1x1 from the lumber section and maybe tried filling in the end of the cut side for the door but IKEA is always a great option as well!
The door was too thick for the thing they use. I asked and I guess it had to be under an inch thick. I wish they would have instead of me having to rent the saw 😂
I once needed a door cut. I was building a desk. HD said they are not allowed to cut doors on their machine. I went and asked the manager who confirmed this. Had to take it home and cut it myself. Not a big problem, just annoying.
