In this video, we will be having a walk around showing you all the Exterior and interior design Features of the all new Mercedes Benz full electric EQS and will also take it out for a Night Drive!
The EQS: the first electric vehicle in the luxury class.
The EQS is the first all-electric luxury saloon from Mercedes-EQ. With it, Mercedes-EQ is redefining this vehicle segment. The EQS is also the first model to be based on the modular architecture for luxury and executive-class electric vehicles. Fusing technology, design, functionality and connectivity, the EQS delights both drivers and passengers. First models on the market will be the EQS 450+ with 245 kW (electrical consumption NEDC combined: 19.1-16.0 kWh/100 km; CO2-emissions: 0 g/km) and the EQS 580 4MATIC with 385 kW (electrical consumption NEDC combined: 20.0-16.9 kWh/100 km; CO2-emissions: 0 g/km). The consumption figures according to WLTP: EQS 450+ electrical consumption combined 20.4-15.7 kWh/100 km, CO2-emissions 0 g/km; EQS 580 4MATIC electrical consumption combined 21.8-17.4 kWh/100 km, CO2-emissions 0 g/km.

The exterior is compromised for the sake of aerodynamics and range. This is acceptable. You shouldn't attempt to hype up the exterior. Everyone can see that this does not compare to the styling of older Mercedes/AMG cars. The interior speaks for itself. It is the pinnacle of tech and luxury.
The fact that option 302 (rear airbags) is unobtainable is unforgiveable since it is the most important invention from Mercedes in decades!!! Much more important than all cosmetic nonsense!
The eqs is the grand definition of the next generation interior.

Front looks really good in my opinion but from back looks like an Audi a7 replica, they should made it like a CLS or smh.

For all of those that are complaining about exterior shape, you have to understand that when you're trying to maximize fuel efficiency and minimize drag this is the optimum car shape. As a result many newer cards are ending up looking very similar.

exterior looks like toyota 2010, but interior beats everything on the market
The exterior looks horrendous on film, but thats due to the 2d effect screen gives you. If you've seen it in real-life, it still holds the Benz aesthetic very well, despite the aerodynamic focused exterior.

This interior is next level. I just hate the exterior and am paranoid of stuff breaking. The driver side seat control panel wasn't being backlit with the ambient lighting already if you look in the video.
front looks like a civic. inside looks like a distracting disco bar, at least they have somewhat of a driver assist to keep you alive.
Then turn the stuff off if they are somehow distracting...

What are the 2 purple dots which are blinking in the screen for? Ist ist possible to switch it off?
They're for the infrared camera to check if you are concentrating on the road. They appear only in video, because cameras pick up infrared light. In person, you don't see them.

@@hanspeter5502 I understand. There's no need to be worried. I've tried the EQS myself two weeks ago, and there's absolutely no visible flashing. Also, I have the same system in my current BMW, and there's nothing visible as well.

Don't get me wrong I like Mercedes and I love the car but I couldn't drive this car myself it just way too many distractions there's so much going on in this interior alone by itself just give me a regular Mercedes like a S500 lol💪🏽💪🏽🤓🔥🔥🔥

@@O-O.O-O only for affordability, otherwise it's beautiful. Great to look at but unobtainable by most of the population, essentially an exotic car "it's electric woo hoo but eye candy for most" I purchased a 2022 Mercedes C Class fully loaded, but what's another 40-50k for the EQS 😉
