I don't know who you are or why your video popped up in my recommendations but I watched it 'cause why not and I have to give you huge props for your last reason for selling the bike. NmWhen I finally do get a motorcycle that's a similar mentality I aim to have (although I still plan on using it as transportation as well)
@kamscorner9766 I'm leaning towards an R3 or R7, but honestly, I've wanted a motorcycle for so long (over a decade) that I'd take anything with two wheels as long as it runs and doesn't have drum brakes 😂
@kamscorner9766 That's what I hear a lot of people say in regards to bikes in the 300 class. I feel like it might end up being the case, but I'm also just worried about starting on something that might be too much for me. I know plenty of people started on MT07s and similar bikes as they're pretty beginner approachable, but I just want to make sure I'm comfortable being on two wheels and able to get the basics down without feeling like I'm going to get in a bad situation. As it stands, it's all a pipe dream 'cause I don't have the money either way 😅😮💨
@ i agrée if your not comfortable get the R3 but from my experience the r7 isn’t anything crazy. Only thing is the riding position, it’s better if your at least 5’9 for the R7
Are you stupid or just deaf? Genuine question 'cause he says he's going to get a track dedicated bike to ride on a track and hone his skills and actually be a good rider instead of being like all the posers wearing AGV Pistas, a hoodie, skinny jeans & vans while only knowing how to go fast in a straight line on their liter bike. If anything that makes him more of a rider.
I am invoking Shenanigans with a smidge of advice ... Look, if you straight up can't afford, I totally get that. But when you talk about your "savings and investments are good" - then why you paying monthly on a ZX4R? Not really a good "investement" was it. If goal is to get better on the track, why not convert the ZX4R to a dedicated track bike? It's a better than average starting platform. Seems counter-intuitive, from a skillset AND financial mindset, to leave riding just to come back on a bigger (more expensive) bike. When? Five years down the road? Ten? Guess what my man? Raising A child, owning a home, and running your own business are not cheap. Focus on which one is truly your highest priority and go from there. Wish you good fortune in your endeavors to come!
Trust me I’m good financially, but spending money on a bike when I’ll be having a kid and looking to buy a rental property makes no sense. Also didn’t finance the bike, I own it outright, the insurance is expensive and I won’t be riding as much next year so I can’t justify it.
@@kamscorner9766 Ohhhhhhhh! Just insurance??? That is crazy! So crazy to make me believe you were talking about the bike w/insurance. Do you guys have "storage" with your insurance companies? We can use that here in US to lower payments during winter moths.
Couple of things. Not everyone should ride motorcycles. Priorities change and there is nothing wrong with that, life happens. 400/month??? Is that full coverage?
@@nyghtwel yea I have full coverage, I’m Toronto bikes get stolen left and right so theft coverage is a must. We also have the worst drivers possible so collision is a must also
@ damn I have ZX6R but fully paid so I just pay comprehensive (theft protection) and it’s only 70$ / month in nyc Drivers suck here too I just ride late nights or on weekends Toronto sucks!
0:47 is the most real and accurate talk ever. 👏 👏 👏
The bad drivers are mostly intentional. A lot of people don’t want to admit it, but they just can’t drive

@ I’d say 100 get the R7, you will want to sell your R3 after a month and a half

The ZX4r is great on the track I’ve heard but I want a 600 for the track. I’ll eventually come back to it, i just have other wants at this point.

@@jamespreacherbeck4306Nah, that rate is just the yearly cost divided by 12. They make you pay for the whole year
You are not going to ride again ever ?
I will on track, but maybe not on the street. I’m not 100% sure yet
