I really really enjoyed WDCE! I thought it was a unique viewpoint very different from what we typically see in Nollywood. Authentic Relatable storytelling and it just felt like they respected the viewers 😍 I felt satisfied after watching it and I definitely plan on watching it again to pay attention to the tiny details. Love that the writing wasn't predictable or lazy and it showed that sometimes in life, we get back to back blows and it doesn't seem like things will get better but ultimately it will. It's definitely one of my favourite movies of 2024!
Tuksyyyy! 🤗 Ditto on everything you said. The writing was brilliant. The conflict & travails of the main character felt real & relatable and really made us feel for her and like you said it felt like the movie respected its viewers. Such a brilliant film and I really hope other Nollywood filmmakers take note and level up. Let me just leave it there. Lol. PS: Thanks for your support with my movie reviews Tuks. It’s always an extra special feeling when people who know you personally rate you and engage with your content. 🥹 I don’t say it enough but I really, really appreciate you Sis. Seeing your comments always warms my heart. God bless you. 🤗
Yay! 🥳 Really glad to hear it. 😁 I love the trajectory your career is on and I look forward to all the amazing things the future has in store for you. 🫶🏽
This movie was really really good, it was well told, acted and a breathe of fresh air , loving all the northern based movies. ( beyond the veil and now this )
I have oooo So Hajia is an amazing Actress She was my Favorite in Beyond the Veil Season 1 I love the fact that she doesn't have to speak, just looking at her facial expression you will definitely get the message 😂😂
Good movie but they didn't show how tedious it can be getting a Letter administration. The process can run into 1-2 years depending on the staff at the court. Also, you get to pay a percentage of the money to the government. I wish they hadshown more about the process.
Hahaha. I think I gave Ajosepo 4.5 jollofs back in April. To date that's the highest rated movie I've reviewed. There might be one more but I can't remember for sure.

Ah Tito, you stopped speaking french in your intros? I had gotten so used to it, I even used to lip synch it with you, lol

Korede azeez the director wrote it!
Yup! And she did a great job. 🎬
Fun fact: The little girl at the end playing with toys on the floor was the Director's daughter apparently.
