    When she read a book about children being hypersexualized and child on child molestation she realized what happened to her. This is why book banning is so dangerous so many children learn how to cope and deal with things from reading books.

    • @QueenZsWorld
      @QueenZsWorld Місяць тому +187

      I agree, Kumos. when I was 12, a whole 18 year old claimed me (in front of his peers) as his 6-year-plan, as in when I turned 18 I was his. This went on til I was 14 or 15, and as a teen I felt weird about it cause he was then in his early 20s and he was charismatic, attractive, liked by everybody / my parents, but then I also didn't feel like it was my choice or what I wanted. I told my parents last year. they were in shock. my mom confronted the guy & he tried to reach out to me to apologize but I really don't want to rekindle or start a (new) relationship with him. I forgave him but don't want contact. as someone in her mid 20s now, there's no way I would ever be romantically interested in a tween / teen. I am attracted to other adults, not children. so that guy was VERY out of pocket. it creeped me out as I realized how wack that grooming situation really was

    It seems like the child actors who transition successfully as adults in the business had strong family foundations. I remember when True Jackson came out and her parents spoke of still treating her like the kid she was despite being at the time the highest paid child actor-chores, church, curfew. Those values kept her grounded and covered, and she’s continued to build on them as she’s grown. We’re all proud of you Keke, such a class act and true example of a woman realized.
